How is this knife only $20?! This knife was sent to me to try for free and the timing couldn’t be better as most of my knives are pretty beat up.
This knife has a nice weight to it and easy to hold which is great for clumsy people like me. This knife is SHARP so definitely no dancing with it like Britney Spears. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it’s not dishwasher safe. But honestly for only $20 I’d buy this knife again.

I tried clarins Double Serum for 7 days. The texture light and is a nice smelling serum. The first night I thought it would only make a good nighttime only serum as it was quite rich and seemed to sit on my face for a while. I noticed that it did seem to slightly tighten my skin.The next day my skin looked clear and less blotchy than usual. Hmmm this could be promising. So that next night I used it again and this time it absorbed quicker. The next day my skin looked nice. Smooth and velvety. So I thought I’d give it a go in the daytime instead of night and tried it under my makeup. I was not confident that my makeup would stay put. But it did! The serum absorbed after 5 minutes and the makeup went on and stayed ! Amazing.
Then I got sick ( not from this lol…a flu).
I didn’t use for a few days.
My skin looked awful. Sallow, red in my creases and dry skin around nose. So I started using the serum again and it saved my skin. It added moisture and it evened out my skin tone. Very nice. By day 7 my skin looked toned, clear and tight without over drying . I have sensitive skin and I never reacted poorly to this. No hives, itchiness or redness. No breakouts either. It’s a great product.

I was so excited to try this Loreal nighttime anti-wrinkle moisturizer for 45+ . (They are wrinkle experts after all). I was selected by Butterly and Chickadviser to try it for free. Hooray for my 40’s! At night I love to slather a good moisturizer on that will plump those lines right out of my face. When I wake up after using this my face is soooo fresh looking. Some fine lines appear lessened and it hasn’t caused breakouts. It’s not a miracle product but my skin so far looks nice in the AM. Oh and it smells like shampoo? Or a clean smell I guess? It also contains peptides. Hello pillow plump skin! You can find this product at any Walmart. -

I was so excited to get to try L’Oréal’s Anti Wrinkle Daycream for 45+ ( I am in fact 45 years old). I also received this product free from Butterly and Chick Advisor. First of all this stuff smells good. Like fresh shower good. I was hesitant to use at first because it says DAY/NIGHT formula. Nighttime anything tends to be slow to absorb so I thought my makeup would just melt away if I use on top of this. Nope. It absorbs SO fast and instantly my skin felt fresh and bouncy. I haven’t seen a crazy reduction in my deep wrinkles but it definitely hydrated and plumps a bit. Peptides for the WIN! You can find this moisturizer at any Walmart and the price is great. I think only $16? Or $17 ? A steal for what it does. Ian acne prone and I did not get any breakouts so far. I’ll purchase again. -

As the owner of a cleaning business I must say when I was chosen to try to for free the new Vileda Easywring RinseClean I was so excited. I’ve never even tried the original spin mop. I have a few Vileda products in my cleaning kit and I especially adore their brooms.
My house consists of mostly hardwood with the exception of linoleum in bathroom and carpets in all of the bedrooms. I wanted to try this mopping system somewhere where I could see the results better so off to my mothers house I went. She has white tiled flooring in her dining room and hallways. Yup…that will definitely show what this mop can do.
The instructions are on the box and have bright pictures combined with easy to follow instructions on how to put together, fill up and use. Ok…a little complicated but still excited.
Here’s where my excitement starts to sway.
As I’m filling the water up I realize that there is no instructions on adding a cleaning solution(?) And if I do add a solution then my “clean rinse water” is no longer clean rinse water. Soooo am I washing the floor with just water? So I start walking towards the hall and the bucket is dropping to one side because the water is only on one side. Kind of annoying but I’m still looking forward to see what it can do.
I slide the little water erase up and water fills the hole on one side and I dip what might be the tiniest mop head ever into the water and then pop it into the spin side. Spinning the mop was kind of fun lol. The faster you press the pump the faster it spins.
So I mop the floor with water and the floor is definitely wet so I think ok? I’ll just spin it more to make it less wet. I touch mop head and it feels damp and not wet so I go again. Better this time. So the tiny mop head seems great for corners but if you’re doing a big area prepare to take forever.
I keep releasing the clean PLAIN water to the bucket but the clean water I add seems to instantly get dirty the second I add the mop so I spin spin spin to get the dirty water off. So really this mop is gimmicky and not convenient and maybe the original spin mop is better? My next step is wait for floor to dry. So I wait and wait and wait lol. The truth is that I usually clean my moms floor using my moms Vileda promist which I love and it cleans amazingly. Anyways I get on my hand and knees with my white microfibre rag and a bit of all purpose cleaning and water on it. Guess what…it’s dirty. Booooo! Honestly you need cleaning solutions to get grim off of floors. Sure steam mops can do this but unfortunately this mopping system didn’t pass my test. I do like the spinning part lol but overall it seems like this mop had good intentions of being convenient but it’s bulky and not great at cleaning.
Don’t worry #vileda. I’ll continue to praise your brooms and sponges and spray mops. Just not this one. Thumbs down.

Every summer I apply spf to my face and I look like a grease ball....UNTIL NOW! I bought Vichy Ideal Soleil Anti Shine from Shoppers Drug Mart on sale for $24.99. The price is way more than I would normally pay for SPF so I was super hopeful that this SPF would hold up to its promise of matte skin. Well folks...IT TOTALLY DOES! Omg my skin felt like velvet and stayed that way...IN A HEAT WAVE! It has 80 min or sweat and water resistance. That’s a ton compared to other SPF’s. The bottle is small but I’m only using it on my face so it has been lasting me quite a while. I can put on makeup shortly after applying as well which is AWESOME! Buy this product. I got Vichy Liftactiv UV from Chick Advisor 4 weeks ago. It smelled lovely and contained an spf of 15 which I loved but was hesitant at first to use as sunscreen makes me supah greasy. I applied the cream the first time and noticed that it did not absorb well into my skin and did in fact feel greasy. I decided to use it the next day and apply it 20 min before I applied makeup just to give ample time for it to soak into my skin. I applied my makeup and went out for the day. My skin became very shiny and oily feeling. Sometimes SPFs do that to me. I even tried using it only at bedtime for a week as it clearly wasn’t working as a daytime cream. Meh...still not great. This product may be awesome for someone with dry skin but was not great on my combination skin. I had such great luck with my Vichy Retinol HA serum that maybe I’ll try a Vichy cream that does not contain an SPF in it. I did however purchase Vichy Ideal Soleil SPF 60 Anti Shine after and LOVE IT. #chickAdivsor #igotitfree #vichycanada -

I was sent a full tube of Vichy Liftactiv Retinol HA. This product is meant to target and plump fine lines and some deeper lines on your face. I immediately loved that the tube had a very thin nozzle which made it easy to get the serum right where you want it. I used it for 4 weeks and I do see a difference. My forehead lines seem less severe and my “number 11” between my eyebrows is almost gone. You do have to use this product everyday or those lines will come back. I didn’t see a difference around my mouth but I’m pleased with the rest of my face. The product smells great too! I’m definitely buying it again.#chickAdvisor #vichyCanada #igotitfree -

I received my tube of Toleriane for free to try and review from Chick Advisor. I’m so glad I did. The first time I used it I noticed right away that it absorbed beautifully in my skin. The second thing I noticed was that I didn’t feel itchy. I used it for 2 days on just my face and thought it was time to try it on my neck too. Guess what? NO REACTION! Yay! Now I have found a great moisturizer for the day for my neck and face!
This is also scent free!
It works great under makeup.
I also love that it DOESNT contain SPF which sounds weird but a lot of drugstore brand products containing SPF make me break out.
I am DEFINITELY buying this again and need to try more of this line from La Roche-Posay.

When I received Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Leave on Mask from Chick Advisor for free I had no expectations. Masks I’ve used in the past made me break out. This did not and better yet, it kind of worked! I used at night after cleaning my face. It goes on thick and looks a bit greasy but it absorbed after 5 minutes or so.
In the morning when I woke up my skin looked plump. My cheeks had volume. Was my skin that thirsty? Not bad.
I tried it once during the day which was not a great idea as it was difficult to wear under makeup and my skin seemed slick all day. Definitely use at night.
Over all it’s a nice drink for your skin. The smell is nice too.
Not a huge difference in wrinkles but my skin looked less sallow and voluminous. My cheeks felt strong and more dense.
I’m definitely going to purchase again. It’s a bit pricey but I’ll watch for sales.
