I quickly learned that you need to fold and tear at the perforations and apply; peeling the patch off with your fingernails folds under the edge. I didn't feel the patch when wearing it and it did not hurt to remove. My skin was pinkish upon removal of the triangular patch after the second day and disappeared later that day. After 3 days of use, I noticed some improvement in the redness of the 2 spots the patch was covering.
