I received a sample of the Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo to try out and review as part of the Product Review Club. I was overall very happy with this product, the scent was very nice and it did a great job of refreshing my hair and absorbing the oil if I didn't wash it with regular shampoo for a couple of days. The only thing that could have made this product a bit better was if the powdery substance wasn't so difficult to rub in. I have very dark hair so unless I rubbed very hard, the you could see some of the white powder in my hair. Other than that, I was very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend this product to family and friends. -

I received a sample of Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water for free to try out and review as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. This is the first time that I have used a product that is so water-based so it did take a bit to get used to. I normally use a cleanser that has to be rinsed off so this product was quite a change from my normal routine. I'm not sure that it really made much of a difference in my skin. Once I got the hang of it, it was easy to use and it did feel nice on my skin. But I think I'm just the type of person that needs to rinse after I wash my face..lol.
Although this product is not my favourite I will definitely still use it on occasion and I would not hesitate to recommend it to a family member or friend. Thanks for this opportunity Garnier and ChickAdvisor!

I received a sample of Garnier SkinActive Miracle Anti-Fatigue Hydra-Gel Moisturizer for free to try out and review as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club and I must say that I really loved this product. I've been using this product for the past couple of weeks and I really do notice a difference in my skin tone. I feel that this product does live up to it advertised benefits 100%. I noticed a difference with the 2 weeks that I've been using it and now I'm hooked. I don't think I will be able to go back to my old moisturizer. My skin has never been so soft and smooth and it just feels so hydrated. I will most definitely be purchasing this product again and will not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. I received a Maybelline New York Dream Blender for free to try out and review as part of the Chick Advisor product review club. I was not a huge fan of the dream blender. I think the reasoning I had issues with it is because I normally use a flat sponge type applicator to apply my foundation so it took some practice to figure out how to apply it properly with the dream blender. Once I got the hang of it, I found it worked okay. I probably won't purchase this again, just because I am more comfortable using a flat sponge or my fingers to apply foundation, however I would still recommend this to friends who are comfortable with a rounded applicator. -

I was very pleased with this foundation and I felt that it lived up to it's advertised benefits. It was easy to apply and had a very nice, soft texture. I found it to be long-lasting and I didn't need to reapply throughout the day. I loved the look of the matte finish and I did get a few compliments on how nice my skin looked. Overall I was happy with the product and I would not hesitate to purchase it again or to recommend it to friends and family members. -

The quality was great and so was the texture but I just didn't enjoy the mango flavour. I found the flavour to be too strong for my taste buds. Although I did share with my two young children and they both really seemed to like it. -

I received the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavour for free to try out and review as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club and I literally felt like I was in heaven after taking my first bite. This is hands down the best chocolate I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious. The flavour was very unique and tasted so good. Although there was crisp in the bar, I still found the texture to be creamy and just melted in my mouth. My chocolate craving was most definitely satisfied with this bar and I will definitely being purchasing it again in the future. I'm planning on picking up some of these bars for my dad for his birthday as he is also a quality chocolate fan and I just know that he will love them as much as I do. -

I really enjoyed this flavour and the texture of the chocolate was just perfect. I found the flavour to be very unique compared to other chocolate bars currently on the market. It is definitely a higher quality product. My chocolate craving was definitely satisfied with this bar. I’m the type of person who usually washes my hair on a daily basis. I find I feel dirty if I go about my day without a nice clean head of hair. However, I definitely liked the concept of a dry shampoo on those days that I just really don’t have the extra time to wash/blow dry and straighten my hair before heading out. So I was excited to try the product and see how it worked. I really liked the smell, it was tropical, but not overpowering at all. I liked that the product made my hair look clean and healthy, without drying it out. I just used the product, gave my hair a quick brush and I was ready for the day.
I think the price is very reasonable for a product like this. It is definitely worth it to have an extra bottle in the bathroom so that you have a product to use on days when you just don’t have time to wash your hair before heading out for the day.
Overall I was very please with the product and I would not hesitate to recommend this product to family and friends who may be interested in trying out a dry shampoo!

I don't normally hem my pants myself, I normally take it to a tailor if I need something done, so I found this very much more cost effective. It really was easy to use as well! I would most definitely purchase this product again and would not hesitate to recommend to a friend. I have actually decided to carry it around in my car with me in case I or someone I'm with needs it in the future in a pinch! -
