An acne clearing face mask that is made of clay to absorb excess oil and tea tree which kills acne bacteria. Apply and leave on for approximately 10 minutes.
A thick clay mask that's smooth and easily applies to the skin. Has an obvious tea tree oil scent but is a natural tea tree oil scent from the ingredients not an added fragrance. The price is more then your average drugstore mask at $20 but you are getting the speciality of The Body Shop and is cruelty free. I find a container of this product last for quite some time and has more product then an average drugstore mask and a little can go a long way.
When applied you can feel the cooling effect after a few minutes but that tingle is not painful or lingering and is relaxing and calming to me personally. It has the potential to dry out the skin (a common factor in clay masks) but I've surprisingly never had that effect (I have very sensitive skin on my face). After rinsing off this mask I can see that it has cleaned my pores, and I feel clean. I don't find it hydrating though my face is soft after application and it has not dried my skin out and I just make sure to apply extra moisturizer to help aid my skin.

I'm a Japanese food lover and instant noodles is a treat I enjoy every week. I came across this pack in my dollar store and decided to give it a try (for $1 you can't go to wrong)
Preparing was easy, fill water to line and microwave, wait a minute or two and pour in added sauce packet.
I found it decent on its own by I love amping up the flavour with a splash of hoison sauce and a tiny amount of honey. I also add in some frozen Asian veggies often or some cooked shrimp.
The noodles are not the regular ramen noodle but I actually prefer this type of noodle for a microwave noodle.
I'm slightly iffy about the dehydrated mushroom or whatever they are and tend to take those big pieces out before pouring in the water.
Again for $1 this is my current go-to instant noodle I eat about once a week and enjoy.

This is one of my top face masks, used weekly at least once. I apply 10-15 minutes before I shower and rinse off in the shower.
Easy to remove unlike other face masks.
The consistency is thick, smooth and silky. I find application smooth, and gives a slight cooling effect when applied.
It's a clay mask so helps aid in an oily face and cleans pores.
Once washed off I can see a difference of clean pores, and soft skin. I also find this mask soothing (it is an anti stress mask of course) it's calming to the skin and the scent helps relaxes you.
There is fragrance (lavender and bergamot to be exact) but it's not overpowering and my sensitive skin has no reaction to the fragrance.
Some of the key ingredients are Bentonite Clay, sea salt and Algae extract. Bentonite Clay assists in purging your pores of unwanted debris. Sea Salt is said to help replenish and restore the skins natural moisture balance while also assisting in detoxifying your skin. Algae helps in plumping skin and toning to reveal radiant and glowing skin.

I slug every night, Slugging is the act of applying an occlusive layer of petroleum jelly at the end of your nighttime skin care routine, so on-top of all serums, oils and moisturizers. For awhile I was just using the normal petroleum jelly but then I found the cocoa butter version and I'm hooked.
I LOVE the scent it's a hint of cocoa that is much more of a nice scent then the odd scent of usual Vaseline. It has the same consistiancy as the regular Vaseline so I'm not needing to change up the way I use it. I find it calming and helpful when I apply it over my lotion after shaving, on my feet or my hands. My favorite is applying this at night when I climb into bed and I wake up with super soft feet and hands.

have been using it for a few weeks on my "pampering" days.
The tin is well made that this lip butter is sold in, with an easy grip tab on the edge so that removing the lid is easier and smooth.
Once opened the scent of lavender is prevalent. I personally enjoy the scent but can see it being overwhelming for some, though it goes away in a few minutes. I''m proud to say this is a true lavender scent, not a chemical fragrance, it also tastes like lavender.
A smooth, almost whipped butter consistency that applies smoothly without a greasy feeling, or the waxy feeling that other Burt's Bees balms can have. It feels like your protected from pollutants and very hydrating.
You only need a little for full lip application so for approximately $6 CAD the tin will last you quite some time. Though when my regular go to lip balm is a bigger container for $3 this product is double the price.
Ive only found this on Amazon and not at my local stores so availability for me personally is not consistent.
Contains; beeswax, sunflower oil, shea butter, coconut oil and cocoa butters. Does not contain; parabens, phthalates, SLS or petroleum.

I've struggled with face moisturizer and lotions for as long as I can remember either two scenarios happen;
-I find a moisturizer that works but soon after my face slowly begins to revolt and itchiness and a tight feeling begins to happen.
-Im forced to apply multiple moisturizers because one after another does not work and I'm just trying to find some relief from the itchiness and tight feeling.
When I came across this Hydro blast gel moisturizer I decided to give it a go, I've never used a gel moisturizer and believed that it could hydrate my skin more thoroughly in that form. I also know that Neutrogena was a brand that made one of the other face moisturizers that sort of mostly work for me so it was worth a shot.
BE AWARE- The first couple days of using this product I was not applying it correctly. What your going to want to do with gel moisturizers is apply a thin layer of the product on your skin and allow it to absorb itself into your skin (not rubbing the product into your skin which is what I was doing) after learning that my opinion completely changed.
I've been using this product for almost two weeks now and at this point with other moisturizers I'd be doing a second application about 10 minutes later hoping for relief of that tight feeling I've mentioned. I'm not having to do that with this product! There is no itchy feeling, or tightness and no need for a second application.
The consistency of this product is well, a gel. A watery gel not a thick gel. It's light weight and you can feel that it's hydrating. Glides easily across your skin. It absorbs into your skin leaving unbelievably soft, it does not make your skin feel greasy.
The price is a bit much for a regular drugstore product (which most are around or under $10) but for a gel cream it is a steal. I found this product at Walmart for $20 CAD (I also found it on Amazon last week on sale for $14 so picked up my next container). I do wish there was a bit more in the container, or at least not as much wasted plastic for a thick container. Though I find you don't need to much of the product to cover the entire face.
Non comedogenic meaning it won't clog pores. Hydrating ingredients including hyaluronic acid and olive extracts.
After my research for my oily T-zone and understanding that I was producing more oil in those areas due to dehydration I began to make sure I was applying a tiny bit more of this moisturizer to my forehead and I've found its helped me relieve my oily T-zone. Also as of yet I don't have wrinkles (that I can notice or worry about) but the hydration in this product can help prevent aging and wrinkles which are often caused by dehydration.

Found this on Amazon and decided to try it after having difficulty finding my old favourite. First thing I enjoy is how big this is, I love that it has more then a normal Chapstick which means it will last longer. I love the slight scent of chocolate that comes from the cocoa butter. Super hydrating and locks in moisture.

Though not available in stores near me as of yet I was happy to find this product on Amazon Canada, and at the perfect time.
A few weeks ago my daughter sadly went through a full body allergic reaction that included hives. Though she was better in only a couple of days the affects of the hives were obvious….dry and sensitive skin.
My daughter also suffers from dry skin patches during the winter weather and since this was delivered over a week ago I've been applying in the dry sensitive areas. Personally I've been using this cream on my feet and on my hands which often feel dry and itchy (as an avid baker and working with my hands in the holistic field you can't get away from dry skin) and I'm impressed at the results. My daughter loves the cream and I can see the results, she's not irritated by the dry patches, not scratching at them and you can see the results as they don't look like patches any longer. I've seen the results as my own hands are instantly relieved from itchiness from dry skin when I apply this product and I don't feel greasy or under moisturised like I do often with other creams.
The consistency of this product is not quite thick but you can feel it's applied to all the nooks and crannies of the skin. Though it's loose enough that it's able to be applied easily. So, a lightweight watery texture that's super hydrating and non greasy with no residue left behind.
This product has a more concentrated formula of the key ingredients in other aveeno products, antioxidant prebiotic oat, soothing aloe and provitamin B5. Protects the bodies natural moisture barrier so it can heal.
Free of fragrance, parabens, steroids and phthalates.

I do love the scent especially refreshing for the summer months, and I enjoy how it doesn't feel like it dries out my skin and it seems to do what it's meant to.
