This bronzer is a complete waste of money. I broke my bronzer while travelling and needed something cheap to replace it, and I decided to stray from my usual and try something new. I bought this because it was cheap (6 bucks) and Maybelline usually does me well. HOWEVER, there is absolutely no colour payoff to this bronzer at all. At first I was optimistic, thinking "if i keep applying it i'll get a really natural glow"...but it never happened. The brush it comes with didn't pick any product up, and neither did my own brush. Maybe if you're extremely pale this will show up on your skin, but for me it was an uphill battle to even get it to adhere to the brush! Will probably just end up throwing this unfortunate product out. Don't waste your money, there's way better bronzers available for the price. -

I'd like to thank Venus razors and the Chick Advisor team for giving me the opportunity to test these razors for free! I was thrilled with the amount of product I was given to test; it was a great opportunity to try out the whole Venus line and find my favourite.
Let me start by saying i've been using Venus razors pretty much since i've started shaving. I remember years ago when I got my first one, I was so excited because they were the new ‘cool’ thing to have. But it was more than just a fad! I loved my original Venus because it gave a really close shave that lasted for several days, was very easy to manipulate (especially for a first-time shaver), and I loved the idea of a reusable handle, which would cut down on costs by buying refillable cartridges. Since the original, though, Venus has come out with many new additions to their line, and once again i’m very grateful to ChickAdvisor for giving me the chance to test them all for free!
My favourite Venus before this trial is still my favourite after: the Venus Embrace. I love this razor because it gives such a clean and close shave; 5 blades hug your skin and the moisture strips let it glide very easily and without irritation. I never have razor burn from this razor, and it gives a cut & nick-free shave. I love the colours on this razor as well - the blue and light green are very cute together, and I like the suction-cup shower pod that comes with it. It’s perfect for housing all my extra cartridges.
My second favourite is one I had never tried before, and that’s the Venus & Olay Sugarberry Scent. I really love that you don’t need shaving cream or soap with this razor. You simply wet the head, which has two large Olay moisture bars, and go! The bars lather your skin before and after the blades touch it, leaving you with a smooth shave that is completely no-prep! The only downfall to this razor was I found the moisture bars didn’t last very long, and I couldn’t get as close a shave as I wanted because the moisture bars prevented me from pressing into my skin with the my usual firmness. They do move out of the way, but I felt I was lacking that pressure for a really close shave. That being said, the scent of this is truly delicious (close your eyes and sigh good!) and I love that it’s a very quick way to shave - perfect for doing my underarms every day (because I always shave them everyday!), but i’ll save my legs for my Embrace. I liked the shower hook because it was quite inconspicuous while hanging in my shower, but there’s no place to put extra cartridges.
The Venus & Olay was the exact same experience, just a different scent (vanilla cream) and coloured handle (yellowy gold/white).
The Pro Skin, Breeze, and Spa Breeze were all a very similar shaving experience. All have moisture gel bars so you don’t need shaving cream, but I found them slicker than the creamy lather I experienced with the Olay bars. Again, I felt I couldn’t get as close a shave I wanted because of these moisture bars, and these razors have 3 blades so I think I was underwhelmed when compared to the 5 blades of the Olay heads.
The Venus Divine and the Venus Original served me well for the first few years of my shaving life, but after experiencing the shave that 5 blades give, I just can’t go back to 3!
Overall, I will continue to use Venus razors as I always have, as I truly believe they are a great product. Now with such an inventive and full line, everyone is sure to find a favourite! All of them have detachable heads that can be replaced, and you can use any handle with any blade, which makes mixing and matching your favourite colours really easy, and also gives you the opportunity to try out different blades without buying a new handle each time. The handles are all comfortable to grip as they have squishy parts along with hard plastic, so you can get a good firm grasp without it hurting your hand. All the razor heads have great maneuverability to get a close shave even around tough spots like the ankle/knees, and not once did I hear that awful “shreek” of razor on dry skin!
So for now I think 2 razors will always be in my shower: my Venus Olay Sugarberry for quick touch-ups and everyday underarm shaves, and my Venus Embrace for my legs, or whenever I want a nice close shave. I would definitely recommend Venus to anyone looking for a good, easy-to-use razor, from someone who is just starting to shave to someone who’s been shaving for years.
Thanks again Chick Advisor, testing these was a blast!

The colour is a very vibrant and fun teal. You apply it to dry skin and let it dry (about 30 minutes) then wipe it off. It's very thick and slippery, so it's easy to apply, and you don't need a whole lot to get a solid mask going. I noticed that it will make my eyes water a ton if I get it too close, so make sure you leave good room around your eyes, but don't be afraid to cover your t-zone well (especially if it's really oily, like mine!). The mask doesn't hurt when it dries like some other masks tend to, and when it's dried you simply wash it off. I usually do it in the shower/ after a bath because as I mentioned it's extremely coloured and would surely ruin any hand towel you try to remove it with!
I like this mask in particular because it's very relaxing...it is anti-stress! It's got a very nice relaxing smell (lavender and bergamot), and the mask itself helps to absorb excess oil and clear out pores. It's koalin clay based and it's loaded with minerals. I notice that it leaves my skin smoother and more radiant, and it really helps control oil production. It's gentle enough to use a few times a week. At $3.99 for a 150ml bottle, it's the best (and most affordable) way to pamper yourself at home.

So I never have just 'one' face cream that I use, but this is one that's always in my kit for sure! I like that it's oil free and doesn't make me feel greasy, and it helps control oilyness throughout the day. I like the tingly clean feeling it gives after applying, although I can see why some people may find it uncomfortable. If you use any Clean&Clear;product though, you know the feeling...they all kind of give that squeaky clean sensation.
This is the perfect moisturizer for when you're breaking out, or feel like you're about to, because it keeps your skin well hydrated without adding excess oils, and it's very sheer so you don't feel weighed down like you would with a heavy cream. Been using this cream since I started highschool, and it's served me well! Will probably continue to use it for quite a while.

It goes on light and sheer, but you can feel the moisture it instantly gives your skin, and it's really soft. I usually use it on vacation to prevent from peeling as it's not a heavy cream but it gives much needed hydration. The little jars are super cute too. -

I also find that this shampoo makes my hair very limp and greasy IF I use it everyday. When I get my hair coloured though I tend to only wash it every other day at most to keep the colour vibrant, and I use this shampoo when I do...mainly because it's cheap and smells good. For everyday use though and at times when my colour is faded and I don't care about trying to keep it lively, this goes back under my sink. -

This has got to be the best lotion for the price! I like to buy the little 60mL bottles from the dollar store for $1 because they're perfect for carrying around in my purse, but more economically you could buy the huge dispensers and they're still only a few bucks. It absorbs instantly, doesn't feel greasy or shiny, and makes skin so soft. It has a very light shea butter scent. It really does provide 24 hour moisture, it will soothe cracked skin instantly and I love how it makes my skin look! Amazing for the price. -
These are really great liners for the price. I love that they come in so many colours, are really easy to apply, and give a nice smudged look really easily. They're very no-fuss and last a long time.
