Let’s Do Lunch – Eating all the Calories and Carbs you want to lose weight! by Roger Troy Wilson
I have struggled with my weight since I was a little girl. I have done a lot of diets and gone to a lot of diet clubs as well as gotten gym memberships. For this reason I was extremely interested in reading this book. It always makes me so proud to hear how some people have lost a lot of weight because I know firsthand how difficult it is to do. Losing weight I think may even be more difficult than quitting smoking. At least with smoking if you have the will power you can quit cold turkey. Well you cannot do the same with food. We HAVE to eat and it can be very hard for someone who has an overeating problem to manage it.
Roger Troy Wilson has found a way to lose weight that works for HIM. He has been kind enough to share his story and his weight loss plan and recipes with everyone in the hopes that it will work for other people as well. It is true that his way of weight loss will not be for everyone and that must be kept in mind when reading this book. With that being said I think that his ideas and suggestions can work for a lot of people. With all the above in mind I will be recommending this book to everyone. I think his story can really inspire others and can also let others know that they are not alone in their struggles. It may give someone who has no healthy living know how, the basic steps to start living a healthy life. They can then follow his plan, or modify his plan to make it best work for them. This book is full of wonderful success stories and was very easy to read. I give it a thumbs up!

This book is as beautiful as the picture on the cover. When I seen that picture of the eagle flying in the beautiful sky above the river in the valley, I knew that this is a book that I wanted to read. And when I see that river in the valley I think of the song by Johnny Cash. “There will be peace in the valley for me some day, There will be peace in the valley for me I pray”
Have you ever really thought of what the Grace of God means? And how Gods grace affects you each and every day? Even if these are questions you have never really asked yourself, I believe that this book will give you great insight to the Grace of God in this world. It will give you different perspectives on the subject and it will allow you to really think and apply it to the situations in your life. It has opened my eyes a bit wider and it makes me feel so very blessed to have such a wonderful loving, caring, forgiving and Graceful God as my father always watching over me in Heaven.
I will be sure to show this book, including its beautiful cover to all my friends and family. I will also be recommending this book as a great read to all people who love God, or who are in a discovery and learning stage in their faith and are growing closer to God.

I was so excited to see this book become available for review so I jumped at the opportunity to read and review it. I love this devotional. Here are some of the reasons why. I will start with the outer appearance. This is the deluxe edition of this book so it is bound in a beautiful leather embossed cover with an attractive cross and decals. But the beauty is not only skin deep. When you open this book and start to read it you get a perspective that you rarely see. That in which Jesus our savior is speaking DIRECTLY to you through Sarah Young. I have never before seen another devotional done this way. I was so very impressed with this book. I have recommended it to my family and friends. It really does help you draw closer to god through Jesus’ encouraging words. You have the ability to read this book from start to finish and then pick it up and just read portions starting at the beginning, middle or end of this book. I love that ability especially in today’s fast paced world. This book is also done in a great compact size that allows you to tuck it away in your purse or bag or put in your drawer at work. I suggest getting 2 copies, one for home and one to carry with you. That way if you are having a hard day at work or where ever you are, you can pick up this devotional and get uplifted. This is the best way to ensure that you are never without it. I highly recommend this book to anyone of all ages. This is something that will make a great gift and can be cherished for a long time. Billy Graham the infamous evangelist has brought his wonderful updated and revised book, Storm Warning, to the rest of the world so as we can draw closer to God as we see many prophecies come to pass.
In this book he begins each chapter with a relevant scripture from the bible to relate to the rest of the chapter. I really liked this as it gives you something to reflect on before you delve into the rest of the read. I also really liked the choice of used scriptures, I found them to be very relevant to the theme of this book. I found Storm Warning very eye opening and it gave me the opportunity to look at the world around me and see it in a different perspective. I really think that this book is a great way to look and reflect on what is going on all around us and link that to many things in the bible specifically the book of revelations. I would really suggest that anyone who wants to gain a more personal relationship with God through investigating and understanding what is going on in the world around us and help us to know that God is with us through everything and every step of the way. How Should a Christian Live? Word of Promise Next Generation Devotional
This book was provided to me free of charge by the BOOKsneeze program. I found that this book would be great for young teenagers for several reasons. The first thing that was great was the cover. It is colorful and eye catching, which in this day and age is important to get the attention of young people. The second is that the readings are broken into easy to read and apply topics with sub headings of get it, grab it, hold it, give it, define it, live it. This helps to make sense of what they are reading and apply it to their life and share what they have learned with others. The next is the cd. This has some of today’s more well know people. These are people that they might be more inclined to look up to and follow by example. One thing that I did find about this book is that there is quite a bit of journal pages to write on. I think that this is a bit excessive but depending on who you are it could be a plus if you like to write a lot. Over all I would recommend this book as great for teens and pre teens.

I am very glad to say that I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of this book free of charge from the BOOKsneeze program .
This book was full of wonderful stories of people who have encountered situations in their lives that they thought God should have responded or helped in a certain way but did not. In fact Gods answers come the exact way he means them to. This may or may not be apparent right away but eventually it will reveal itself to you. This book deals with the stories of these peoples Plan B with respect on how to deal with these situations.
I found this book to be an easy read and I easily identified with one or more of the situations. I would highly recommend this book to anyone really because you are sure to relate in one way or another. This book could personally help you through a tough situation in your life and help you to see things in a different light.

When I picked this book up, I couldn’t put it down. The 33 short chapters were so quick and easy to read. I love the way Patsy begins the book by comparing Psalms to the multicolor scenes of a kaleidoscope. With every turn you can find new and beautiful meanings, that in some way or another can relate to everyone, at some point or another in their life time.
She starts off each chapter with a personal story that she relates to a selected psalm scripture. Patsy uses humor and down to earth language that makes this book a pleasure to read. She puts together the words so beautifully it is like a elegant dance on the pages. Then at the end of each chapter she gets you as a reader involved by asking you “bits and pieces” questions that pertain to the thoughts and ideas of the chapter just read. I loved this aspect because it really gets you thinking about how relevant this is in your life. Fittingly at the very end of the chapter she shares Bible scripture readings that have a common thread with the chapter just read. Patsy entitles these as “held to the light” I thought that this was particularly appropriate because I see the scriptures as shedding light for me on this mysterious and wonderfully existence.
This book is a very good read that I recommend to everyone, young and old alike. You will not be disappointed!

This is my first book review for this program. I recieved this book from Thomas Nelson Publishing through the program "BOOKsneeze" I really didn't know what to expect but let me say that i am VERY pleased. This book had me from the intro. I did not hear of Shelia Walsh before reading this book but now i feel like we have so much in common. Let me start by saying how approperiate the Title and cover of this book are. The cover is very pleasing to the eye and it really drives home her story when she was young not trusting just anyone pushing her on the swing. Shelia does a wonder job in relating this experience to the difficulty in just trusing her life to God. Knowing that he is there for her every step of the way. Beautiful things really did happen for Shelia when she learned to put her trust with God. I could really identify with this story because just like Shelia, i too have suffered with Anxitey, Panic, and Depression. She explains through some of the known and little known stories of the bible just how rewarding your life can be if you can learn to put your Trust in God. I would recommend this book to any man or woman who is struggling with anxiety or depression or if you are wanting to grow in your Faith with God. In my opinion this book can really help you if you can learn that you don't have to go through this somewhat difficult life alone. Excellent Read! Highly recommended!
