I'm afraid I'm rather lazy when it comes to exfoliating, but using this apricot scrub about once a week does wonders for my skin. Some find the texture too harsh, but I don't find that to be the case and maybe it has to do with the fact that I only use it once a week. On a lazy Saturday or Sunday evening, I really take my time gently scrubbing my face with this product, apply a good night cream, and wake up to amazingly softer skin. I really don't think that expensive peels or facials are worth it as long as you remain dedicated to this once or twice a week ritual. Definitely recommend. How can you resist the price? -

I'm currently using this right now in rotation with a few other foundations. It has SPF 15, so I use it for the daily trek to the office. It's water-based and dries rather quickly, so you have to blend fast. But once you do - and you have to do it sparingly - it imparts a beautiful finish and will definitely last throughout the day with the occasional touch up with powder. It can be applied with brush (for a more sheer coverage), sponge wedges or even your fingers. It's buildable so you can definitely get more coverage out of it by applying a second layer and it still doesn't look cakey or fake. MAC is a great company and I have had great result with most of their products. This tube also contains quite a bit of product in it so it will last for a while and definitely give you your money's worth. -

This is an excellent low-cost foundation with quality that's just as good or even better than some of the high-end products out there. I'm a big fan of L'Oreal and don't find much difference between it and Lancome, so when Lancome discontinued my favourite Adaptive foundation, I took a guess at the drug store and chose a neutral shade which matched my skin perfectly. It blends well, doesn't look or feel cakey, builds coverage as you require, looks completely natural, and made my face radiant. I bought the same shade twice and would have stayed loyal longer except I got some scars on my face (not from using this product) and the light/medium coverage wasn't enough anymore. However, after having seen me use it devotedly, my sister became a fan of it and I believe she is on her third bottle of a similar neutral shade. I highly recommend this for those who are looking for an affordable foundation to even out their skin tone (not to cover up heavy scars). A little of it also goes a long way. -

This is my favourite mascara. I searched high and low for a mascara that would not budge or smudge from my short, sparse and very straight Asian lashes, and Clinique Lash Power does exactly that. I would not say that this provides a dramatic false lash look, but used in conjunction with the Clinique lash primer, my puny lashes seem double in length, volume and intensity. I've even slept with it on and it will not come off until you take it off with some warm water (remover not required!!!). -
