Very sexy and chic on the outside, but doesn't deliver on the inside.
This mascara claims to lengthen lashes and contains a combination of lengthening ‘polymers to stretch the lash'; however I measured my upper and lower lashes, before and after application, hoping to believe their claim. End result--no difference.
This produces a natural-looking effect, so when this mascara comes out in January, those wishing to have long lengths to their lashes like a stiletto does to legs, should look elsewhere.

When I received this gloss in a gift bag, I was pretty hesitant to try it out. I'm not one who likes to attract attention to myself by wearing an odd choice of makeup colour; however when I applied it to my lips, it amazingly went on clear! I like how it is super shiny, leaves my lips soft and the mint sensation you feel once you apply it is very refreshing.
I've been using a mint chapstick before using this product, and I definitely recommend this gloss if you enjoy the cool mint feeling that adds high gloss shine to a natural winter fresh look.

This is an amazingly soft and super pretty brush!
I was looking for a retractable brush and this one was recommended to me by an employee of Sephora. It has synthetic hair as opposed to animal hair and it comes in a girly girl/pretty-in-pink packaging.
This retractable device is great for protection against bacteria in your makeup bag, and it can also be adjusted so that it can be used as a smaller blush brush.
The only con I would say is the high price. But I guess that's what you get when you want to be a true girly girl.

I was given this as a gift and was eager to try it since I've been using a designer tinted moisturizer (read following review). I have dry skin to begin with, so I apply a thicker moisturizer beforehand and then apply this product on with a sponge for a smoother effect. It makes my skin look smooth and because it's a tinted moisturizer, my skin doesn't look so pale and so dull.
I find that this one does just as well if not better than the more pricy tinted moisturizers out there. The swirl effect of the packaging is appealing and it also comes with a pump--whether or not you find that useful..
Overall, this product is just as effective as its designer alternatives.

I was searching for a tinted moisturizer to wear in the summer and winter months instead of wearing a heavy foundation. When I purchased this product, I liked the fact that it contains SPF 20, comes in 4 different shades and that it actually does create a "natural and flawless" effect. It provides very lightweight coverage so I wouldn't reccomend this for those with problem-prone skin.
I prefer wearing this moisturizer than a foundation and would use it on a daily basis.

After purchasing this product I was excited to be drenched with the smell of strawberries. It is one of my favourite scents and I had heard that the Philosophy brand made good products. This product is actually a 3 in 1 shampoo, body wash, and bubble bath. It seemed to smell nice in the store, however after lathering for a short time, I realized that the scent seemed to smell artificial, like some sort of cough syrup. Not so nice anymore. Using it as a body wash was pretty good since it did create a rich lather with a lot of bubbles. As a shampoo it didn't weigh my hair down and it left it nice and soft. I have yet to try it as a bubble bath so I cannot discuss that part. If you're buying it for the smell which seems to be the selling point, then I would advise against it. -

I was looking forward to trying a mascara that works well on my short lashes, so after receiving this product I applied 2 coats on one eye, left the other natural, and went to work. My co-workers noticed the difference-only when I pointed it out. Based on my experience with other mascaras of similar cost, this one did create a better volumizing effect without the usual clumping--something that we all look for, don't we? Although I don't think it lengthenened them. Besides the smell, if you're looking for a mascara that creates volume, doesn't clump, and doesn't cost a fortune, then this product is for you. -

I would recommend this product, but I would hope it would come in a smaller size for travel purposes.

Just received this several days ago and I've been using it every day. Here's the break down:
Pros:
smells good, contains chamomile, aloe, vitamin E (whether or not these additives are thoroughly
absorbed into the skin has been questioned before...). Regardless, it lathers really well and still
leaves my skin feeling soft without having to moisturize afterwards.
Cons: runny consistency... other than that I can't think of anymore criticisms.
Overall it's a good product, but I feel that I would run out of it quickly.

If you burn easily, then this product is for you!
I spent a very hot and sunny day at a waterpark with some friends and my boyfriend--who likely has the world's milkiest-white skin, and burns very easily. As the name implies, the easy application of this product provided a nice cooling sensation without leaving a greasy mess on your hands--typical of most lotions. The spray also helps with quick and easy application without the need to rub it in. We only re-applied twice throughout the entire day!...hesitantly...
Interestingly, this product has been featured in the news as one of the few that truly provides protection from BOTH UVA and UVB rays. Like most sunscreens, this product claims to prevent sunburn caused by UVB rays--and it did. More importantly, the ingredient 'helioplex' has been scientifically proven to stop more harmful UVA rays known to penetrate deep into the skin and contribute to skin cancers.
Overall, this proved to be a great and very effective product. Although, the only con would be that it doesnt smell like coconut. Regardless, at the end of the day, neither of us had any sign of a sunburn...suprisingly!
With the endorsement of my 'milk man,' I strongly recommend this product.
