I honestly love so many products in the John Frieda line, and this one did not disappoint. It is my go-to "inexpensive" hair care line for volume - something my hair is always searching for. It smells great and really gives my hair a boost!

I have had multiple samples of this product and I don't think I would ever purchase a full size. This product, even in moderation, just made my hair super greasy.

I did like how smooth this made my hair feel and it didn't seem to weigh down my roots. However, I didn't notice anything that really stood out about this product in comparison to Dream Curls - both products generally made my curls look and feel the same, and both products generally smelled the same.
That said, I would use either Forever Smooth or Dream Curls. I'm just glad to have found a product that makes my curls tame!

Well, the fact that this album still gives me chills like the first time I heard it 13 years ago is a good sign.
This album brings me back to my youth and makes me feel 15 again - including some of those awkward 15-year-old me memories. This is one of a few albums that really made me feel like "me" as I was finally coming into my own and falling in love with music. I think What it is to Burn has been my favourite song ever since 2002.
There are tons of pop-punk tones on this album with bits and pieces of some more hardcore vocals (as a little taste of what the future of Finch held). It was just a great album as a whole. Really easy to listen to - especially for an emotional love-struck teenager.

I think The Taste of Ink was the first track I heard from this album and it was instant love. To this day I get absolute chills when this song comes on. The first time I played it in my car with my now-boyfirend, we both looked at each other as to say "What a throwback! You love the Used too??" To think that we didn't know each other at 15, but were listening to this album at the same time, separately...what a feeling.
Most of this album gets constant play on my gym playlist, with other favourite tracks being Buried Myself Alive, Noise & Kisses, Maybe Memories and On My Own.

There are other post-workout treats I usually want to grab - something fruit-based and not so high in sugar and carbs (seriously - there is so much sugar in a Cliff bar!!) but once in awhile these will go on sale and I will pick up a cool chocolate mint or coconut chocolate. They are great as a snack on the go or replenishment after a hard workout. In moderation. The bonus is that they use a lot of organic ingredients, and don't advertise it but they look to be GF. -

Though Chris Walla (as producer) left the band during the recording of this record, Kintsugi as a whole is a refreshing new piece from DCFC.
Kintsugi is Japanese - and is an art of putting broken pieces back together beautifully, treating the breakage as a part of history, rather than as something to hide. And you can feel those emotional tones of love, loss, and self-repair on this album.
DCFC is generally stamped as "too sad" - and yes, that is true. Gibbered can lyrically and musically reach depths of despair that none of us knew could be reached. Kintsuhi has undertones similar to this - but also ends on a more positive note.
I have given this album a complete listen multiple times and have yet to find something to disappoint. It's something new and fresh from DCFC, and I can just be happy about that.

I have been following Chiodos for years - and yes, mourned the loss of Craig Owens - until I heard this album.
This album is my favourite of all Chiodos albums - it is theatrical and feels like a story in itself. It is what I think Chiodos should sound like. The vocals that Bolmer brought to the album (and to the band) was really impressive - and stands out on tracks like Love is a Cat From Hell and Those Who Slay Together Stay Together.
This is really a gym album for me and keeps me going throughout. Even after Owens' return, with their release of Devil (2014) I keep coming back to Illuminaudio. I won't comment on Devil. I don't have anything good to say about that.

Music lovers rejoice - it seems we love nothing more than hearing punk/metal/rock bands cover cheesy pop songs. Some of the PGP cd's offer covers that I honestly prefer over the original songs!
I have favourites from all 6 releases (plus Punk Goes Acoustic, Punk Goes Metal, Punk Goes 90's, etc.), but these are some to mention:
Family Force 5 - Bulletproof
Upon this | Dawning - Call Me Maybe
For all Those Sleeping - You Belong with Me
Silverstein - Runaway
These albums not only offer great cover songs but have also helped introduce me to some artists I hadn't heard of before. They surely offer some great entertainment. I always use them for road trip cd's!

Though I don't have kids yet, I always think about my interests and I get really excited at the opportunity to help shape who they are - and introduce them to things (like music) that I really love. Some of the music that helped shaped me as a person is now available as LULLABIES. This is exactly what I would want to play for my kiddos.
They cover everything from my favs like Thrice, Brand New, Alkaline Trio, Taking Back Sunday, Saves the Day, as well as Paramore, City & Colour, and others.
Their songs are available for purchase at $1.00 each or you can purchase entire albums for only $10.00. I will definitely purchase the entire collection to prepare for the day when I want to play some awesome lullabies to my children.
