Another film from university - I had to watch this film numerous times for my neuropsychology course. I have since watched it multiple times outside of academia and still LOVE it. I love connecting the dots in the super unique plot. It's definitely a brain twister and I've introduced this film to many people who just hated it - because they didn't understand.
I had to watch this movie at least 2 times during my university course to really have a solid understanding.
Great cast, great plot, great overall film.

Looking at it from a more "movie watcher" perspective rather than a neuroscience perspective, I really deeply enjoyed this movie for more than helping me get an A in that course. Of course, as a psych major, I really enjoyed looking at that particular aspect as well, and will always remember those things when I return to this film.
I've always enjoyed movies that follow the lives of different characters and see how they intertwine (Elephant, 2003) so this was a must for me. There are also aspects of race, drugs, and crime amongst the larger plot.
Some of my favourites are in this film also - Sandra Bullock and Matt Dillon. Must watch, I will definitely watch again and again. I love introducing people to this movie.

Roger Ebert said it best when he said there was no pump up, no climax - just flat-affect. The director drained all energy and glamour from death - hence making an "anti violence" film. It had its criticism after release, but overall I thought it was a well done HBO film.

The cast - Naomi Watts, Mark Wahlburg, Jude Law, Lily Tomlin and the ever-awkward Jason Schwartzman - how could you not love the cast?
This movie is about a detective team and existentialism - so it's kind of out-there - but really fun and enjoyable and I LOVED the soundtrack. I still listen to it today.

I am not a huge Jim Carrey or Kate Winslet fan, but this movie...the two of them together in these characters...it is pure magic. The premise is magical, the romance is both heartbreaking and amazing all at the same time. I can't say enough good things about this entire movie.

This is one of the only (modern) movies that I can watch over and over. I absolutely love the cast (Ellen Page is great!), the soundtrack, and most of all the plot of the movie. Its just a feel-good, super cute movie that makes me feel 16 again!

Cate Blanchett did not disappoint. She played the role so well, she made me really, really dislike her in the movie. Lily James is beautiful and made a wonderful Cinderella.
I laughed, and cried (not at the normal times you would expect, but at the really theatrical moments....they were very well done).
Great job, Disney, at this spin on the classic children's favourite.

ABSOLUTE classic!! I remember watching this over and over and over again as a child. It is one of my absolute favourite Robin Williams movies. I think it was one of his best roles.
