I love love love this stuff! It's by far the best dry fast topcoat that I've ever used! It delivers a plumping effect like a gel polish, but you never need a light to use this. It goes on super smooth and spreads evenly over the nail, it leaves a super glossy finish that lasts, and I can't even stress enough how fast it dries to the touch! Literally wet to set in about 2 or 3 minutes flat! It's a little pricier than some other topcoats but I think it's well worth it and I'd probably pay twice as much for it, honestly. The ONLY thing I'm not crazy about, and the only reason I gave 4 1/2 stars for effectiveness is because when the bottle is about half empty, the product becomes so thick that you can hardly use it. If they can fix this one glitch, I'd easily give it 5 stars all around! It's ALMOST the perfect product! But I'll still continue using it regardless, it really is that good. I just buy more when it starts to thicken, problem solved. Still well worth it! I've used this for a couple of years, I keep repurchasing, and it's the only topcoat I'll ever use from now on! -

I can't believe this product was right under my nose all along! I've never been a big Chap Stick fan, I hate to say, because I don't like the thick waxy texture. But this is different. I was standing in a checkout line when "lip butter" caught my eye, and at such a value, I had to try it. I'm so glad I did. This is much thinner and creamier in texture than the original Chap Sticks. It feels so silky on the lips. It takes a little longer to absorb into your lips, but ya know, that's ok with me, because the ones that absorb really quickly tend to be gone really quickly too, if that makes sense. I've tried this is the pink grapefruit, which worked fine, but I could NOT get past the overpowering scent, and in the green tea mint, which is my favorite.This is very hydrating and moisturizing and a very good daily lip balm. I started using this when my lips were very dry and cracked and it honestly healed them in just a few hours. I'm very pleased with it. I've spent lots of money on other products and I never gave the good old Original Chap Stick a chance. Who knew?? -

My natural hair color is medium brown, but I've been everything from a reddish brunette to a platinum bleach blonde. Most recently I had blonde highlights on my natural medium brown color, but I wanted a change. I decided to go dark. I chose this product, specifically shade 4BG Dark Chocolate Brown. I'm absolutely thrilled with my results!! I found the foam to be much easier to use than the normal hair dyes I've tried in the past. And the scent of this stuff, amazing! I loved how my hair turned out. The color was rich and right on what it was supposed to be, and my hair actually felt better after I colored it! It was so silly and soft and smelled great. I was very impressed with this product! Anytime I plan on coloring in the future, I'll definitely buy this brand! I love all the John Frieda products I've tried, and this one didn't disappoint either!! -

I wanted so badly to love this lip balm, because I've seen so many great reviews for it. I even bought 3 tubes of it last week, when I finally decided to give it a try because I just knew I'd love it. But I was so disappointed. I actually couldn't leave it on very long before having to get a wet wipe and clean it off my lips! I can't tell you how bad it burned them! Maybe I had an allergic reaction to an ingredient, I'm not sure, but I also could not get past the horrible taste! As soon as I tried this stuff, I was instantly reminded of those extremely hot tanning lotions with the high tingle factor. The way that stuff smells is how this product tastes and smells, if that makes any sense. It burned my tongue when I licked my lips. I like a cooling lip balm, but this was entirely too much for me! I could smell the "heat" in it, almost as if it had cayenne pepper in it or something! I didn't have a good experience with it at all, and I can't bring myself to try it again. I'm sorry, I know there are tons of Burt's Bees fans out there, and I know many won't agree with my review, but this is just my opinion. I believe lip balm should be soothing and even something I wouldn't mind using on my children, but I'd never let them try this! I wanted to try the Honey flavor, but was unable to find it at the store, so I bought the original peppermint instead. Maybe the Honey flavor won't give me this experience, I'd be open to trying it. But as far as this kind, never again!! Money down the drain as I had to throw these in the trash to ensure my children didn't run across them and try them! So disappointed! -

First of all, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am truly a lip balm junkie!! I wrote a positive review for O'Keeffe's Lip Repair not too long ago, and while I still stand by my review, I do have to admit that I've found another product that I'm equally addicted to! Lypsyl Intense Protection lip balm! Where do I start? (I can sing its praises forever!) First of all, what I immediately noticed the first time I used this is how smooth and silky it is, and how it just glides effortlessly across the lips. It's not a very thick product, which I appreciate, but it works just as well as the thick and Intense lip treatments. It's made with silky Swedish beeswax, and that's the best word to describe this product.... SILKY. The second thing I noticed is how fast it's absorbed into the lips, something else I love. I can't stand a product that just sits on top of the lips and does nothing. This is very very hydrating. It's got a minty, cool flavor to it, which I'll admit, I used to turn away from in lip balms, because I believed the myth that any cooling products actually dried out the lips. Not true. This feels cool and refreshing, but not overbearing at all. It has just the right amount of "cool." It actually feels so nice and comforting when applied. And it works. It does what it claims to do. It's done wonders for my dry lips. It's great for use anytime throughout the day, but I always love to use my favorite lip balms at night before bed, after I gently exfoliate. I put on a good layer of this and when I wake up, my lips feel incredible!! They're so soft and hydrated, smooth, and sooooooo supple!! I just love this stuff! I'm pretty new to the beeswax lip balms, and I've only tried a few of them, but this is by far my favorite. (Not a fan of Burt's Bees at all! But that's another review.) If you're looking for an all around basic lip balm that comforts sore lips, and DOES WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO, then this is the product for you! I can honestly say that this may very well be my favorite lip balm of all. And believe me, I've tried so many. You can't go wrong with this stuff. I even have my 7 year old son hooked on it! He carries a tube to school in his backpack every day and uses it throughout the day. We are both big fans! I'm excited to try all of the other Lypsyl varieties!! -

Let me start by saying that I'm a lip balm junkie! I've used every kind you can imagine, but I am absolutely addicted to this stuff!! It's amazing, and it's been a godsend for me, since I've always suffered from extremely dry, cracked, peeling, and painfully chapped lips. This is truly unlike any other lip balm out there. It actually does what it claims to do! It goes on super smooth, and feels sooooo good, whether you choose the Original or the Cooling Relief, as both are wonderful. I personally prefer the Original, which is unscented and unflavored, although it does have a very subtle sweet taste which I'm totally fine with. After applying, just as it claims to do, it really does create a flexible barrier on the lips. It feels to me almost like a cushiony layer of moisture and hydration, and it stays in place better than other balms. It's great to use anytime, but my favorite time to use it is at night before bed, right after I gently exfoliate, and it never fails, I wake up to super soft, supple lips! I can even tell a difference in the overall appearance of my lips, and they seem to be healing over time with continued use. I just can't say enough good things about this stuff, I love it and I've finally found a product that I'll continue to use for the rest of time! -
