I truly truly love baby lotions for myself- I am obsessed with Johsnon's Cottontouch and Bedtime lotions and use them both everyday. When this lotion was on sale, I tried it out and was so exicted; unfortunately, I ended up being rather disappointed with it.
The website notes that the lotion is a 'floral/powdery' scented lotion is built around 'rose, jasmine, and iris notes' and it end with a 'citrus' high notes. More accurately, the lotion smells not just like 'baby'- it smells like a plastic baby toy that you would buy at the store.
The lotion's moisturizing properties were okay, I did not notice any irritation or issues with it. Unfortunately, it dried to have a powdery/matte finish that just made my hands feel drier than they were. I did not get any radiance or glow from this lotion.
This lotion may work well for babies as its powdery residue was quite effective in stopping friction irritation; however, for my purposes, as a lotion for adults, it was not quite what I was after.

I will start of by admitting that I bought this at the store for me after I fell in love with the Cottontouch in the same line. This lotion is a little bit thicker than the Cottontouch, but still not heavy or greasy. It moisturizes quite well overnight without having any less than desirable feeling to it. The ingredients are quite pleasing- although it has alcohol in it, I haven't noticed any adverse reactions of the lotion to my skin or nails.
I wake up every morning with smooth, soft, radiant hands and a faint scent of the calming lotion fragrance. This lotion's fragrance, by the way, is phenomenal- I am convinced it soothes me and helps me fall asleep! I would recommend, if there is a pre-opened bottle or sampler, to smell the fragrance as it is quite prominent in this product. I have been told that it smells lovely by everyone I have used it around; even though it has lavender hints (true lavender), my mother, who hates commercial lavender scents, said she loved it! Also keep in mind that the formula is for babies, so the lotion, including the scent, is created to be non-irritating!
This product is a huge staple of my nighttime routine and I highly recommend others incorporate it into their routines too!

Hands down, this is the best lotion I have ever tried. Firstly, the lotion is lightweight but also very moisturizing. It does not leave a film or a powdery finish- within 5 minutes of using it, you will be able to use your phone/laptop without fearing any sort of residue. This is extremely impressive for a lotion that does not have alcohol in it (which is used to make lotions quickly absorb but its also drying/bad for my long, natural nails). The scent is absolutely phenomenal. It is light and extremely pleasant- I get many compliments on the sheer smell of it when I wear it (which may make it unsuitable for scent-free workplaces, but the scent has been formulated to be as gentle as possible for baby).
It works well as a light face moisturizer as well and as a body moisturizer.
Although you pay a premium for the 'baby' label, the gentleness that is intended for baby is also very kind to people with sensitive skin or sensitivities in general.
All in all, I highly recommend you pick up a bottle of this lotion as it is the best lotion that I have ever used.

This product is absolutely heavenly! My dad initially bought it for his dry, chapped skin from the harsh winters; however, I began using it on my legs after I showered to give some moisture back after shaving. The formula is one of the best body moisturizers out there as it does a phenomenal job of moisturizing without leaving a heavy or sticky residue (though it can be sticky on unshaven legs or if too much is applied). The scent is lovely and doesn't stick to you throughout the day. It truly does make your skin glowy and soft without causing breakouts or being heavily sticky/greasy! -

This wash was not irritating at all and had an extremely pleasant scent. When I tried this scrub, it was the only one in the drugstore that did not have little plastic beads. I understand that the spherical plastic beads are not good for the environment and that the little pieces of apricot pit/walnut shell pieces are not good for one's skin. It truly seems like a lose-lose in this scenario unfortunately. However, I resorted to using it on my arms and back and it seemed to work quite well in keeping blemishes at bay- just too abrasive for my face especially as I exfoliate with a face cloth. -

These cereals are a huge favourite of mine- super tasty! The ingredients of the cereals are really quite good (many of them lack lots of the preservatives or artificial ingredients I try to avoid). The value is really really lovely as well! Unfortunately, I do not see these cereals in stores as much anymore, which is quite saddening. When these cereals first came out, their ingredients were far superior to the mainstream brand's ingredients (less artificial ingredients than the Kellog's equivalent). I am not sure if this is the case anymore, but this was the last box to tick on my checklist! All the flavours I tried were really good too!
Healthy- Tasty - Affordable - everything I could want in a cereal.

Vaseline is a miracle worker to say the least. I use it on my nails/cuticle area, my lips, eyebrows to set them, eyelashes and eyelids for a bit of oomph, and even on the ends of my hair pre-shower. My family always had the traditional 'original' Vaseline petroleum jelly in the house- while effective, I always wished for better scents (especially on my lips)! When I discovered the cocoa butter formula I fell in love- it's more or less the exact same tried and true Vaseline petroleum jelly, but with a sweet hint of cocoa butter. Tip: the nice part about Vaseline for lips as opposed to other lip balms is that it is not introducing more moisturizer- so your body doesn't become dependent on it. Rather, it creates a barrier that stops your natural moisturizers from being evaporated or otherwise worn off.
For $3 for a giant 215g of this, the value is impeccable. There are little pots if you do not use a lot of Vaseline as well- which overtime I do tend to find 'stale' Vaseline gets less spreadable and more 'hard and dry'. Lastly, make sure your fingers are 110% clean and sanitized before putting them in to the pot or you are just asking for trouble!

I initially got this lotion during autumn as it was on sale and marketed to help soothe wind-whipped skin. As soon as I got home, I washed my hands and put a little bit on and really really loved it! The scent is warm and rich, but not overpowering or too sugary. The lotion itself was light enough to be used as a hand cream and still provided moisture, it also worked well as a post-shave leg cream. It also seemed to soothe my skin after shaving if it was irritated and soothe my skin from mild allergic reactions. Unfortunately, my mother was able to smell this lotion on me from across the table which does not make it suitable for scent-free workplaces. She was also not a fan of the scent and said that it reminded her of the scent of an old lady!
If the scent is not going to be an issue for you, your family, or your workplace, this is a lovely lotion!

I initially got this product with other Aveeno products for free from my local grocery store. My gripe with this, as with the hand cream, is that it has alcohol which is damaging to my long, natural nails. However, the formula is nice and thick without being gloopy. A little goes a long way with this lotion and it is perfect for overnights or pre/post shower moisture. It is fragrance-free for the most part, although it carries a slightly plastic smell. It is not aggravating to my sensitive skin, but I did not find that it really wowed me as it did not make my skin glow or feel soft as much as it just hydrated the skin. I think this is a very basic lotion and a good starting point to assess what you want out of a lotion and go from there. However, if you are just looking for a basic lotion without too much fuss- this is your product! -

(This Review features my experiences with the shade Iced Queen)
I will start by saying that I absolutely LOVE pastel colors and have always been on the hunt for them in nail polishes. The tricky part when it comes to pastels is finding a polish that isn't too thin of a formula, still pigmented and not just washed out, and all of this within an affordable price. This nail polish ticks ALL of these boxes. My nails (natural) are very long and do not generally show chipping (as they don't get used and abused) for about a week or two- so I cannot quite speak to that, although I do know that the polish is not a cheap flaky one or I would've had issues with it. The polish did not cause any staining on my nails and was perfectly pigmented right down to the bottom of the bottle. It dried well (which is a HUGE thing for my long nails) and the formula remained consistent. The cap was easy enough to grasp for application as well. The brush was a little on the small side, but I don't think that is such an issue if you have short/average length nails, it just made my experience take longer. Over all I absolutely adored this polish so much that I went back and got the shades Midnight Swim and Plum Paradise- which also both are spectacular.
110% recommend!
