After testing the Aveeno eye gel for about 1 month, I noticed a slight improvement as to my skin tone around the eye area, it is not a huge improvement, just that the skin tone looks more even and the skin looks more refreshed. It feels like a nourishing gel. The texture is more like a thicker gel, it somehow feels a bit sticky after application but not uncomfortably sticky as this wears off soon enough. I don't see this product reducing the wrinkles and fine lines, maybe it needs to be used for longer than 1 month. I like the fact that it is an alternative to retinol products and that it is a gentle eye gel. With using only a little amount, this product goes a long way. I give a 3 stars rating because the improvements are only minimal after 1 month. -

This Aveeno serum provides relief to dry skin or tired skin. It is refreshing and great for sensitive skin or normal skin. In the last 4 weeks, I have used it morning and night after cleansing my face. It is easy to use, I like the pump dispenser type, no mess. I would also use the serum on my neck area as I think it is easy to forget that area and it does need some boost as well!
The serum is of pale color and has a slight scent of oatmeal, it feels nice and smooth on the skin, it glides really well, it does not leave any sticky feel and gets absorbed quickly.
I think it is a great alternative to using a retinol product, having used the latter previously, I had a skin reaction even though my skin is not of the sensitive type. So I recommend this serum for its gentleness and for sensitive skin. I feel the serum helped my skin to feel less tired and it moisturized it at the same time. As to reducing the look of fine lines or wrinkles, I am not too sure hence I give this product 4 stars. Maybe I need more than 4 weeks to assess that part so I can tell any difference in that area. As for a 1 month trial using it consistently, I can confirm the Aveeno serum does reduce dullness 'without causing redness, dryness, or sensitivity.'
