I tend to lean toward anything with coconut or jasmine as a base. Similarly I prefer light floral scents over musky darker notes. I received this as a sample with my Sephora order. I definitely recommend try before you buy with perfume. I am not usually a fan of Chloe, I bought their self-titled scent over a year ago after trying it in-store, and have worn it maybe twice since. I just didn't like it once I got home. But, Chloe Love Story is different. It's light and refreshing and just works with my skin once warmed up. I disagree with another reviewer saying it smells weird on clothing, I don't find that. But scents are such a personal thing. If floral, light and refreshing is your thing, give this a try. -

this product is much like Bioderma, but cheaper. My issue with this product and others like these is the amount of cotton pads you have to use to wipe away all your makeup - about three or four works for me. It's much easier and environmentally friendly to use all-in-one wipes, or even one of those magic cloths.
This also isn't very good at removing eye makeup at all. I still had to use specific eye makeup remover and even more cotton pads!
It's not terrible, just not practical for me.
I'll stick to all-in-one wipes.
I was given this product to review.

I wanted to give this product a fair run, and have been using it as my primary moisturizer day and night for approximately 2 weeks.
As moisturizers go, the price point on this drugstore brand is pretty high - about $25 in Canada. Having said that, this oil-free moisturizer is on par with other higher end products, such as MAC's Lightful or Mineral Charged Water Gel. It's hydrating and absorbs quickly into your skin without feeling oily or leaving any residue, and certainly not tight.
My only complaint, if you can call it that, is its smell. It's not entirely off-putting, it's just pretty strong and lingers. I'm wondering if that's a gel moisturizer thing, because other gel moisturizers I've used all have pretty perfume-y odours.
I received this product for review. Would I buy it when I"m out? Probably.

And, it just so happened I had a pair of pants that required such an item! It worked like a charm. My only issue is it's sooo sticky that it took me a few attempts to get it right. Once I did, it stayed in place all day without having to worry about the hem falling.
I also used this tape to hold a low cut blouse together. This is so versatile!

I'm a home and car air freshener fanatic. I have loads of candles and sprays throughout my home and, until now, carried a mini Febreze spray can in my car.
I was a little wary of this at first. Although I really like scented things, I worry it will be overbearing in my small car and end up giving me a headache.
Not with this product, however.
The genius of this is, you can adjust the amount of scent that is released. Great if your vents are horizontal. I have heard others complain because their vents are vertical, which causes the slide adjuster to either be constantly open, or constantly closed.
I will probably buy this again when it runs out.
I received the linen scent, and was sent a free sample for review.

I just received this toothbrush for review today and was so excited to try it I immediately brushed my teeth! I'm happy to report: I am not disappointed.
I wasn't expecting much. I've had power toothbrushes in the past and they ended up in a bathroom drawer after a few uses, but I think this relationship is going to be different.
It doesn't look like much in the box, but after giving it an hour to charge, I unleashed it's power and went to work on my teeth. I was skeptical, it's pretty loud. So, after putting it under the tap, slapping on some toothpaste, I stuck it in my mouth before turning it on. There are two settings, regular and sensitive. I went with regular.
I used circular motions, just like I would with a manual toothbrush. Every 30 seconds it pauses to tell you to move on to the next quadrant of your mouth, fool proof! After two minutes, I gave my teeth a last 30 second blast and turned it off.
Complaints:
- My nose tickles the entire time I brushed, but it's something I can live with.
- The handle gets pretty hot while it's charging, so I think I won't leave it charging all the time.
- I didn't pay for mine, but I was pretty shocked to see that this cost $99 in Canada! The replacement heads cost $20 for a package of 4. A little pricey, but in my opinion, worth it.
Loves:
- My teeth feel like I just came back from a cleaning at the dentist. Seriously. I WAS NOT expecting that.
- It comes with two different brush heads, a normal brush that's slightly smaller than your average toothbrush which I find really gets into the corners of your mouth and behind those molars. The precision brush head is even smaller and gets to work between your teeth and along your gums.
- The whole toothbrush is smaller than other electric/battery operated toothbrushes I've had in the past, so it's really lightweight.
Final thoughts: I probably wouldn't have bought this on my own, it's pretty pricey. However, if I knew how effective it was, I would have been persuaded. IT WORKS. It's lightweight, so your arm doesn't get tired while you take those recommended two minutes to brush all your pearly whites. I'm a convert. I would definitely recommend this to my friends, in fact, I just bought some spare brush heads so my boyfriend can use this too!

I was given this product for review, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought it. I'm not a big fan of whitening strips after some pretty bad experiences in the past - burning, foaming... remember those days??
The good news is: those days are over. I expected at least a little foaming, but nothing. I kept them in for two hours, as per the directions, and not so much as excess spit. I was pretty pleased with that.
Definitely easy to apply. The instructions are pretty clear and the strips don't budge once they're in place. I put them on before bed, when I knew I wouldn't have to interact with a lot of people - just in case, I didn't want to look like a rabid dog.
After 2 hours they were easy to remove. I wasn't sure if I was suppose to brush my teeth (the instructions don't say), so I just rinsed my mouth. There was no weird taste or feeling left on my teeth, which I was pleasantly surprised with.
I didn't notice any difference right away, but I am pretty sure they lightened my teeth a shade or two. I may be also trying to convince myself there is a difference.
PROS
- cheaper than dentist whitening
- easy to apply
- no taste or residue left behind
- no foaming or burning while on teeth
CONS
- definitely teeth sensitivity over the next two days, but it went away
- two hours feels like a VERY long time, especially if you're hungry

UNTIL I was sent a 4 pack for review.
It's durable and very absorbent. It's really thick and super soft. Because I'm used to using cheap thin bathroom tissue, I found myself using more than I needed every time. A little really goes a long way.
My behind thanks you.

I was really looking forward to reviewing this. My grey hairs were becoming more noticeable along my part, and I could see some grey hairs along the sides of my face when I put my hair in a ponytail. I have dark brown hair, which means grey hairs STAND OUT. The packaging is fairly straight forward, however, I would have liked to have seen brief directions printed on the outside of the box - just so I had an idea of what was to come. Mixing the product is easy, and there is no real strong smell of ammonia like there is with some hair colour products. This looked promising. Applying the product was a bit tricky. I was trying to keep the colour right at my roots, so that my uber trendy ombre colour wasn't affected. Also, it's easy when you first start to apply it, but when you try to move your part around to get the rest of your roots, it becomes a big mess. I ended up squeezing the product onto the crown of my head and rubbing it into my roots with my fingers to ensure it applied evenly. I was pleased there was just enough product, I hate wasting product when I do a full head home colour (when my hair was short.) I left it on for the suggested 15 minutes as the box suggested: "for stubborn greys". My scalp tingled and burned a little. Rinsing out wasn't a problem, but I was still concerned the colour would run into the lighter parts of my ombre colour. I went to bed and reserved judgement until I had spent a day with my new roots. Here I am. I think the Dark Brown actually lightened my roots! My virgin root hair growth is now an auburn-brown-redish shade, noticeable in daylight. I can still see some "stubborn greys", but now they're joined by this auburn colouring. Also, it's taken the shine away from the crown of my head, my root area looks ashen almost. Overall 4/10 - easy to apply and use, but the colour is NOT dark brown, and it does not 100% cover the greys. I really had high hopes for this and wanted it to be the HG of home hair colour. Unfortunately not for me. I've made an appointment to see my hair stylist in 2 weeks - we have to wait for this current Root Rescue colour to wash out a little. -
