The ingredients of a skin care product are the most important factor for me when choosing what to incorporate into my skin regimen. To me, this includes what a product contains, as well as what it doesn't. It's not easy finding a toner that is free of drying alcohols, as well as fragrance, dyes, and pore-cloggers. Those aspects alone make this superior to the majority of what you'll find on shelves, even in high-end department stores. What really makes this toner a standout product for me though is that it's formulated with some of my favorite ingredients, such as; mandelic acid, niacinamide, and gluconolactone. These are gold standard powerhouses when it comes to exfoliating and brightening acne-prone skin, without the drying effects you'll find from old-school ingredients like benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. This makes it so much more suitable for my combination skin type that is prone to dehydration. Although I received this clarifying toner complimentary from the Rose Inc brand, I feel that what it's priced at is very reasonable considering the innovation of this product's ingredient deck. Also, keep in mind that this is not just your basic toner that only serves the purpose of balancing the pH of your skin after cleansing. Traditional toners aren't even that necessary now days since most of us are making sure we use a pH-balanced face wash. This product acts as my toner, exfoliator, and brightening treatment. Fewer blemishes have popped up since I started using it 2 weeks ago, and it has been clearing us existing ones quickly. My overall complexion has gotten smoother in texture and has much more of a glow. I have not experienced any dry patches or irritation, which is not uncommon for me to experience when I use other acne-fighting products. There is definitely an initial tingling sensation when first applying it to my skin, but that's just indicative of the product having some great actives! I feel this toner would be too aggressive to use more than once a day, and if you have dry or sensitive skin, you should probably only use a couple nights a week. For myself, I feel that using it every other night will continue to achieve great results without irritating my skin. I can't wait to see the improvements that I'll achieve after a full month, I can already tell it's going to really help with pigmentation left behind from old acne marks! -

How does something this delicious contain less than 1g of sugar? Usually there's a catch with low or sugar-free candy, they usually contain controversial artificial sweeteners like maltodextrin and aspartame. The sweeteners used in these sour gummy worms are allullose, erythritol, and stevia. I'm prone to digestive issues so I was nervous about the erythritol, as it tends to upset my stomach. However, I didn't experience any discomfort after consuming the whole pouch in one sitting (they're addicting!). This tasted so much like the traditional sugar-loaded gummies that I kept re-reading the nutrition label to see what I was missing. The only thing that really separates these from the "less healthy" competition is that they get stuck in your teeth a bit. Lily's are more of a gum drop consistency. The two flavors were delicious, and the sour to sweet ratio was just right. I would highly recommend these to others looking to cut down on their sugar intake, but still want to indulge! -

Growing up as a scrawny kid with a super fast metabolism, I drank Boost (the weight-gain variety) for several years. They never really made a difference in my weight, but I remember begging my mom to keep buying them because they tasted delicious. Now as an adult, I'm only looking to maintain my healthy weight and get more protein and nutrients into my diet. I also tend to skip breakfast if I'm running behind or when extra busy, and was needing something to help hold me over until lunch time. After looking over the nutritional info for Boost's Max Women, I was really impressed with the fact that it contained 30g of protein. Usually meal replacement shakes with that amount of protein taste chalky and gross, so I was really surprised that these ones tasted just as great as the ones I remembered drinking as a kid. And with only 1g of natural occurring sugar, 0 added? I honestly kept re- checking the nutrition facts on the back while drinking this because I couldn't believe how good this tasted for how healthy it is. It's basically a liquid multi-vitamin, yet somehow tastes like a melted chocolate milkshake. Great job, Boost! -

Being somewhat of a skin care snob, I've always been a bit wary of using drugstore facial cleansers. However, due to the influx demand from consumers calling for "cleaner" products, several mass-produced formulas have really been stepping up their game. Clean and Clear is one of those brands. This product is a great example of a no-frills, simple ingredient deck that doesn't overwhelm me. I think it's silly when a cleanser has a bunch of unnecessary inactive ingredients for the sake of making bogus marketing claims. All those fancy ingredients are just going down the sink, this is a facial cleanser we're talking about! So I definitely appreciate that Clean and Clear focused more on what to avoid in a formula, as those attributes are what really make for a great face wash. This no-sulfate cleanser suds up nicely without stripping my skin, which is prone to dehydration. My face feels clean and soft, not tight, after using it. The only gripe I have with it would be the added fragrance! -

I've used plenty of intimate washes - the majority have an ingredient list that contain everything you DON'T want in your private areas. I'm not even one of those consumers who fall for "green washing" marketing where I think everything has to be 'natural' or 'organic' in order for it to be safe to use (these terms have zero to do with safety). However, it's just common sense that if you're formulating something that is intended for sensitive body parts, that it be free of known irritants. I'm talking about ingredients such as Sodium Lauryl (and Laureth) Sulfate, synthetic fragrance, and essential oils. I also want my intimate cleansers (and all my cleansers for that matter) to be aligned with the natural pH of my skin to not cause over-stripping of its natural oils. SweetSpot Labs Moisture Restoring Full Body Cleanser checks all my boxes - and then some! I'm talking multiple ceramides, cholesterol, and a ton of skin conditioning agents. My dry skin loves this multi-purpose cleanser, it's even helped keep my dyshidrotic eczema flare ups at bay. I use it everywhere except for my face because it does contain coconut oil, which can trigger break outs if you're acne-prone. It's still a godsend though for everywhere else, and leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and silky after the shower. Can't recommend it enough! -

Being a big fan of their dry shampoo for several years, trying Batiste's new line of hair care products was a no-brainer for me. I have long, fine hair that is regularly highlighted to light blonde. My roots tend to get oily after two days (in which their dry shampoo has been amazing to help me not have to wash every day), yet my ends are brittle and dry. The biggest challenge I have with leave-in hair products is finding something that will nourish and hydrate the ends of my hair without weighing the rest of it down. Even though I'm careful to only apply to the hair below my ears, a lot of products tend to make my roots oilier somehow. This one has really impressed me - super lightweight, helps to detangle my hair, and leaves it soft and silky. Smells sweet and fresh, not overwhelming at all. The pink beads inside the cream intrigue me, I've only seen those in exfoliating type of products. They must burst when pressed into the hair or something, as I don't notice them after application. I've been using about a dime size amount on towel-dried hair, and that's been the perfect amount for my hair that's a few inches past my shoulders. Not sure about any long-term repair being made, but I like the way my hair looks when it dries after I've applied it. Definitely going to re-purchase! -
