Guess I should have done more research before signing up for a "women only location - open 24/7, basic, no frills membership" on Henderson Hwy! Signed up Feb 28, 2020 and only got to use the facility twice before the entire company shut down on March 18, 2020 due to the CoVid19 pandemic. BUT - the first payment was withdrawn from my chequing account the very next day, March 19 (for the door access key fob). Then every 2 weeks an automatic withdrawl of $16.84 was taken out - even though the company sent out emails saying "all accounts would be frozen and payments stopped due to CoVid19". NONE of the payments stopped (as of today, June 15, 2020). I even tried stopping payments with my bank on the scheduled days - but sneaky Shapes took out DOUBLE payments ($33.68) on the very next day!! I was shocked, especially now since so few people are actually working due to the pandemic and have no money for food, let alone this. Wow. . . I emailed all of the contacts I had for the company requesting to please CANCEL my membership immediately and stop payments - even sent an actual letter - but no luck. Emails were answered by Manager "Christine T" giving me no satisfaction at all, just lip service. I originally signed up for a membership giving me convenient 24/7 access - but if they are unable to provide that then at least have the decency to CANCEL MY BRAND NEW MEMBERSHIP IMMEDIATELY - and refund the payments that were taken out of my account while the entire company was closed (see attached picture)!! Stay away from this company. Read the other reviews!    -
