I love these cleansing wipes for on the go. They aren't as great as the Kirkland ones from Costco, but they are still gentle enough for my sensitive skin and remove makeup well.

I do not wash my face with water in the morning, since it is way too drying and my skin is usually quite clean. I'll saturate a Dollarama cotton pad with this micellar water and sweep it across my face to gently clean and condition before makeup. It has little to no scent, and it leaves my skin feeling calm, clean and comfortable. The packaging is amazing and I definitely think that it improves my skin's overall condition. -

Okay, waxing sucks. So any products that make waxing even harder are not going to tickle my fancy. I don't usually wax my face since I either pluck or get my brows threaded, and these strips don't work very well anywhere else (legs, bikini, armpits). I'd much rather use warm sugar wax and disposable (or reusable) strips. Not only does hot wax take no arm power to warm up, (hello, microwave) but it is super easy to clean up if there's a drip or spill. A bit of warm water will dissolve sugar wax, whereas NOTHING removes the wax of these pre-poured strips. Be very careful where you place them! I'm going to stick to my usual routine.

I love love love Batiste. So when I realized that I could try the dark/deep brown shade for free through ChickAdvisor review club, I was extra excited! This formula seems to feel a bit less grainy than the original white powdery ones, and I love how there is little to no "massaging" required upon application. My hair is a light brown/very dark blonde, and this product blends in perfectly. I am so impressed with the appearance of my hair for the entire duration of wearing this dry shampoo, especially since there is no white cast, ever. It literally sprays out as a brown powder! The only downside to that is the fact that once you start to massage it into your roots and through the lengths, your fingertips will most likely get dark right at the tips. It's nothing that can't be washed off, but it's something that I never experienced with other tinted formulas. Keep that in mind for if you use dry shampoo on the go. I can't wait to continue using this bottle, and I look forward to re-purchasing it! You can't beat that $12.99 price tag. -

It is so nice to see affordable and effective micellar waters at the drugstore!
So day-to-day, I use the Nivea Sensitive Skin micellar water for my morning cleanser, and the L'Occitane Immortelle cleansing oil at night to remove makeup. What I noticed between the two micellar waters is that the Garnier has a very mild, soapy feel on the skin and will leave more of a residue (you can see the bubbles in my photo!). It isn't bothersome, but I have noticed that the Nivea feels more like a softening water with no soap. The Garnier micellar water is a true makeup remover, and is effective at removing my minimal face products at the end of the day. I also find that this micellar water is more moisturizing on the skin compared to something like Bioderma. The bottle is 2x bigger than the Nivea bottle, which makes it harder to pour from, and open/close the cap. I'd definitely recommend it, but I wouldn't repurchase it right now since I prefer using a cleansing oil to remove my makeup.

I was really impressed with this gel moisturizer overall. I have sensitive combination skin, and this glided on very nicely. It has a cool, water-like feel and hydrates well. I used it right after swiping some of the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water over my skin to cleanse in the morning - they make for a really nice combo. I love how this moisturizer goes on light and dries down super quick to a "plump" finish. It is a lot lighter than my regular Nivea sensitive skin moisturizer. It works very well under makeup and leaves my skin looking fresh all day. One little issue - the perfume-y fragrance! I would not repurchase this product right away since I prefer my skincare to have no fragrance at all.

I can't say that this was my favourite flavour, but it still a good snack. There are more nuts in this than the other two, and the flavour wasn't as strong. I really like the high-quality chocolate taste, and it definitely stood out in this bar. I'm loving how the ingredients are so natural, and also how dense these bars are compared to a regular granola bar. You get a good bang for your buck, and their nice and small to fit into a lunch bag or purse. I am really enjoying these bars with an afternoon cup of tea.

OMG this is the most delicious cherry flavour ever! I'm usually a raspberry girl when I have the choice, but this bar totally changed my opinion. I love the hint of sour pomegranate, and the sunflower seeds taste divine in the mix. Again, the best balance of chocolate and rich granola, which makes this the perfect chocolate bar substitute. It gives you the thrill of having those chocolate covered fruit snacks without having your teeth ache. I did find that it curbed my hunger and left me feeling good - no weird after-taste. Big win overall, this is my favourite flavour from the brand.
