I've been using Batiste ever since I could find it in Canada. Though it isn't HG status like my Klorane dry shampoo, Batiste does what it says and this Floral fragrance is very pleasant. I have medium blonde hair and I don't notice too much whiteness, especially after massaging it into the roots. When it's on sale at Shoppers, there's nothing more affordable than Batiste! -

This anti-dryness face cream is "gluten free, paraben free, oil free and non comedogenic". I must admit that my makeup doesn't sit very well over this moisturizer, but I never noticed breakouts or irritation when I was testing it. At almost $20, this cream has good packaging, soften the skin well, and has many strong points (no fragrance, few ingredients, absorbs well). I can't say that it's much better than any of the night or day creams I swear by (Nivea, Avene) but if it seems like a winner for you, look out for a sale! -

Priced at $15 cad, these dual-phase removers are very effective. The original "Gentle Makeup Remover" from Marcelle always reminds me of my go-to Express remover from Nivea.
It aims to dissolve all traces of long-wearing eye and lip makeup, including waterproof mascara, and it is enriched with aloe vera to soothe and calm the skin. I was thrilled when it actually lived up to that claim, since this remover is oil-free.
I have delicate, sensitive skin, so a formula that leaves my eye area comfortable and free from stinging is key. The one thing that I immediately noticed with this remover, is that there is absolutely no scent to it. Once you shake up the two phases and begin to dissolve your makeup, the outcome is quick and easy.
I definitely noticed that my skin felt "conditioned" like it says on the description. This feeling of a light moisturizing finish might bother some people, so in that case I'd recommend the original formula.

Though my scalp is in good condition right now, I always notice minor flakes and irritation from time to time. After using the shampoo and conditioner daily for over a month, I have definitely noticed an improvement in the condition of my scalp and hair, from root to tip.
The shampoo is a clear gel, and the conditioner is a thick white cream. I love the shampoo since it's pretty basic - no drying ingredients like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, but an effective cleanser overall. The fragrance is light and refreshing, perfect for women or men.
I was so hesitant to use the conditioner, since I usually stick to shampoo only so that my hair doesn't get weighed down. But when I read the directions and realized that this one is silicone-free, I decided that I should face my fears and do as they say: Apply to freshly shampooed hair and SCALP. omg. conditioner on my roots. will I survive?
Sure enough, I'm still here to tell the tale. And my hair is not an oil slick!
I massaged a generous dollop of conditioner all over my hair and scalp, and left it to penetrate for 2 minutes. Then rinse, dry and style as usual. I am so pleased and frankly overwhelmed, since my thin hair is consistently light and manageable after using the conditioner. Best of all, it feels amaaaaaazing. So soft, so silky, so healthy. The routine doesn't force me to wash my hair any more or less, but it is sure to provide a tangle-free, silky smooth finish to my hair. A-pproved.

I'm a huge fan of the AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel, since it's what I use when I want a supercharged cleanse for my face. I'll remove my makeup, pour some of the powder onto my Clarisonic Mia, and gently buff away the dead skin and dullness. The Treatment Enzyme Peel foams up to be a brightening physical and chemical exfoliant, without irritating my skin at all.
This foundation is made with bamboo sap instead of water and oil, which gives the skin added moisture without a greasy feel. The colour builds in very fine, even layers, and the addition of green tea brightens the skin and prevents irritation.
I was so intrigued by this "cushion" format, since sponges often make me think germs galore. Fortunately the applicator "puff" is non-absorbing, anti-microbial, and leaves a cool soothing feel upon application. I'm not a morning person, so the fresh sensation works great at giving my skin a little boost.
The finish is healthy, smooth and not makeup-y. I didn't use any powder after applying, and like usual, my skin got a bit shiny after a few hours. This foundation gives a light-medium coverage, which is perfect for daytime. I still needed to use some more pigmented concealer for under the eyes and to cover some spots.

Alright guys, the key is applying these blister pads way BEFORE going out, and RIGHT after you wash your feet! Use soap, dry them off, and make sure to NOT put any moisturizer on underneath the sticky surface. I found that the first time I wore these sticky pads to reduce blisters, I put them on too late and they came off quickly. Boo, I got blisters. The second time, I used the pads to heal and protect my existing blister, and it worked great! The pad fell off after about 2 days, but it definitely protected the surface well. I would consider repurchasing these if I had to wear uncomfortable shoes daily (dress shoes) and I would recommend them to friends. They work a lot better than your typical bandaid, but I also sometimes prefer soft medical tape for bandaid prevention. I would also love if they came out with smaller adhesive pads! I think that would be great for my toes. -

My top buy from Ella's Botanicals was the Beauty Bar Soap in Lemon Zing. I use it as a hand and body soap, and to wash my makeup brushes. The natural lemon scent is so fresh, and the addition of cornmeal provides some gentle, but effective exfoliation (much like my beloved LUSH "Let The Good Times Roll" cleanser). At $7, this big bar of soap will last forever. My mom has been enjoying hers too! -

The Today Unscented Lotion is the first "unscented" lotion I've tried that literally has no fragrance. In addition to being a fantastic body lotion, $4 from sales of each bottle ($22) go directly to the Causemetics campaign: a movement by the Canadian Breast Cancer Support Fund designed to raise money to help financially challenged breast cancer patients across Canada through the sale of healthy beauty products.
Love this!! & Love Ella! (Brand is located in Toronto)

I've used this as a makeup remover, nighttime moisturizer, cuticle oil, and to condition the ends of my hair. All of her products have a light fragrance from the natural ingredients like neroli and sandalwood, which dissipate after application. Next up on my list to try: the multi-purpose Luxe Beauty Balm.
I'm all about natural plant oils and essential oils, so these unique blends are right up my alley. These vegan multitasks have been made specifically to benefit the skin and leave you with a healthy, glowing complexion. I've gotten feedback from other ladies who have seen incredible results from Pelle Beauty products. Daily use of the cleanser, facial mist (love) and oils can completely heal acne and reduce those pesky signs of aging. I seriously trust Marnie's line, especially since she has the education in both business and cosmetology to back it up.
