I’ve been using the Whole Blends shampoo and conditioner for two weeks. I use lots of heat when drying/straightening/curling and holy moly am I ever impressed by how silky this has left my hair feeling. My hair becomes perfectly straight on its own thanks to the thick yet lightweight conditioner. All sulfate-free formulas tend to be irritating to the eye area for me, so close tightly. I would highly recommend this line, a bonus that they come in convenient pump tops. #gotitfree #reviewclub -

I’ve been using the Whole Blends shampoo and conditioner for two weeks. I use lots of heat when drying/straightening/curling and holy moly am I ever impressed by how silky this has left my hair feeling. Note that the shampoo can cause intense stinging if it gets in the eyes, but it does clean the scalp thoroughly in one go. All sulfate-free formulas tend to be irritating to the eye area for me, so close tightly. I would highly recommend this line, a bonus that they come in convenient pump tops. #gotitfree #reviewclub -

I’ve only used the Plumping Treat Watermelon Mask once but the scent and whipped texture is divine. For those with drier hair, the Garnier hair masks are true drugstore gems. I've used a full avocado one before and it was amazing. I actually learned that you should apply a hair mask in between shampoo and conditioner, so the conditioner can lock in the moisture from the mask. Genius! -

On the days when I can only manage two steps in the AM (spoiler: most days) this is what I use! Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 with Vitamin-C truly cleanses and brightens with no rising. There’s no fragrance and it’s great for sensitive combo skin. I don’t use this for makeup removal because I find the Vitamin-C irritates my eyes and the pads get kind of wrinkled up. Much better in the AM for me! #gotitfree -

I love to apply my micellar water with one of these cleansing pads first thing in the morning! Make sure to wash thoroughly beforehand and grab one of the Freon Collective washbags to keep track of them in the machine. I don't love using these for makeup removal because I find the dual-layers get all wrinkly and don't "scrub" well. So I use my Freon Collective for that too and leave these for the AM. #gotitfree -

At around $6 and available at most grocers, Mott's Clamato Caesar Reserve offers a delicious mix of complex spices and natural ingredients with no MSG, colourants or corn syrup. I think it’s tastier than my go to right now which is Walters. I was shocked to realize that other mixes have such unnatural ingredients. I will keep a lookout for this when it goes on sale because I think it is super delicious. I will definitely buy it again, thanks ChickAdvisor for the sample! #mottsclamatoreserve #productreviewclub -

Benzagel makes my favourite benzoyl peroxide cleanser and spot treatment, so I was stoked to see them release an “After-Care Moisturizing Lotion” - which has very different, yet great ingredients. The combination of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (exfoliating), Squalane (moisturizing), botanical extracts, minerals and antioxidants (calming/protective) counteracts the drying effects of benzoyl peroxide and helps keep skin clear. I find that my skin gets more textured and oily in the summer with all the sunscreen and sweating, so this product is wonderful as a calming, breakout-reducing light moisturizer for the face, chest, back and legs - works well for post-shaving! I’ve never been a big fan of blowdrying my hair, and some of my most popular posts and videos over the years have been about low-maintenance hair tricks for #noheat styles. I’m using the joico canada #ZeroHeat styling cream as a post-shower, one-and-done smoothing lotion. This is not like my favourite bumbleandbumble hair undressing cream, which adds grit to fine hair. Instead, this is more like a leave-in conditioner that won’t weigh down thin hair (there’s also one for thick!) as it enhances natural shine and reduces frizz - both very key for a time when we can’t go get a trim. I’ll apply a quarter sized amount to my damp hair, and either throw in some braids or give my ends a scrunch to enhance natural body. I’m excited to do a blog post soon comparing my favourite finishing products and how they all differ! This one is definitely helping to maintain my hair health. #joicozeroheat #gotitfree -

I am thrilled with the spreadability, delicious flavour (not the same as margarine) and more earth-conscious nature of the new Becel plant-based butter. We used the unsalted for scones and buttering brioche buns, but topped off breakfast with salted for more of a bite. It worked much better than any other plant-based butter for baking and spreading. Highly recommend whether you’re plant-based or not! -
