Both my dad and sisters swear by The Body Shop's shaving products, especially their Root Relief After Shave. I've been impressed with the results after using their Maca Root Shave Cream for the past few weeks. This product definitely has a manly scent, which I really don't mind. It works just as well, if not better, than those annoying compressed gels and contains much more product. -
I don't have much experience with razors, but the Shick Hydro Silk works pretty well for me. This is a pricier option, but I replace the blades about once a month so a pack of replacements will last quite long.

A gorgeous gift set I got from Farmaesthetics via Urban Outfitters online.
The Herbal Cleanser was my "meh" product since it was a bit challenging to use (quite liquidy) but did work well as a light cleanse. I only use it in the morning since I prefer something a bit more heavy duty in the evening. The scent is light and herbal, and the product itself works fine.
I love a fresh witch hazel toner to balance my skin's pH right after I cleanse. Although the Pure Complexion Tonic does not come with a spray top, the pump allows me to either apply the toner with my hands or a cotton pad. This product has quite a strong rose fragrance, that won't be appealing to everyone. I much prefer something fresh and cucumber scented, for example, but I can deal with rose.
My favourite part about this kit is the Rosehip & Clay Mint Mask, made into a cream using the Pure Complexion Tonic. This mask smells very earthy, when all the raw ingredients mix together. I can definitely handle the fragrance, but it isn't exactly spa-like. The most incredible part is definitely the addition of Rosehip and Mint, which completely change the texture and appearance of skin over time. Rosehip is repairing and brightening, while the mint is cooling and refreshing, working to diminish breakouts with the addition of oil-absorbing clay. I'd be cautious around broken skin and scabs if you have sensitive skin since this combination could cause irritation.

The best lip and skin moisturizer around. Just over 100 years old, Nivea Cream was the first water-in-oil emulsifier. In this product, both water and oil bind together in a stable white cream so you get long lasting hydration and conditioning. Eucerit is the "emulsifying agent" which is made from lanolin. Derived from sheep, Lanolin is one of the hottest chapped skin conditioners in nearly every expensive balm. But despite Nivea Creme's initial white appearance, this inexpensive miracle cream sinks in like a dream and truly works wonders as a deep, intense moisturizer for the entire body. -

Natural Glow is my go-to lotion tanner for a quick tan for the body. It smells like cookies and can look a bit streaky if you don't rub it in well enough, but overall, a drugstore steal.

Body makeup! It works! This stuff makes your legs look divine. I haven't used it all over, simply on arms and legs to give an extra boost. I mix a bit with my body lotion and blend it all in. It doesn't seem to rub off on clothing and provides natural-looking colour, especially when sheered out with a lotion. The tube can get a bit messy, but for $10 or so, it's worth it. -

Weird name, killer product. I use this very thin, milky liquid once per day to maintain the perfect sun kissed glow on my face and neck. I don't use any other tanner on my face since all the other ones seem to clog my pores. I'll wash, tone (with a few sprays of Thayer's Witch Hazel), lightly moisturize then smooth on a thin layer of this tanner, avoiding the eyebrows and upper lip. It has a light fragrance and gorgeous silky finish. It leaves my skin free from breakouts and one $30 bottle lasts forever. Please, just try it. You won't regret it. -

This mousse must be applied with a mitt (like this blue one) to achieve an even tan. When applied properly, this tan lasts for a good while, but tends to get patchy at 4-5 days. I'd recommend St Tropez mousse over this one.
This stuff dries quick! Go one pump at a time and work in small sections of the body so you don't get streaks. Mousses have a colour guide, meaning they provide an instant tan, which must be washed off at least 4 hours after application. Take note that the colour guide will transfer onto white clothing or sheets, but can be washed off. Avoid silk and polyester since they will stain. It's also important to shave, exfoliate and moisturize before applying your mousse tanner. I can get around 5 days of tan from one application. Wash the mitt with mild soap and warm water to leave it fresh and free of bacteria. I love using Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap in peppermint.
