This summer I've been trying to use dry shampoo a lot more, and thus have been washing my hair less. I read that sleeping with dry shampoo on your scalp is like sleeping with makeup on, and can clog your pores - causing irritation and breakouts on the scalp. I'll admit that I sometimes still do sleep with dry shampoo in my hair, but this Dove product doesn't seem to bulk up on my scalp or irritate my skin at all. The scent of this product is just wonderful - so fresh, a bit fruity and floral. The mist is fine, and the bottle is easy to use. It seems like there is more product in the can compared to Batiste. The powder itself is not noticable, so I'd say invisible is accurate. My only problem is that it isn't super mattifying. With thin and greasy hair, I do usually look for a dry shampoo that is MORE dry, and that gives a bit more grittiness and texture. I can always combine this with another product to get more lift, so it's just a 3.5/5 for that reason. Like CoLab, I'd love to see a "normal" and "extreme volume" version to target different parts of my hair! I use the normal down the scalp and around my neck, and the extreme goes at the crown and on the sides to give lift.

I apply it in the morning, head to toe, right after a quick shower. It leaves my skin silky smooth with no white cast or oily residue. It also layers quite seamlessly under makeup, and doesn't cause excessive oiliness on my face. I can re-apply throughout the day and it always feels comfortable. This would be amazing for kids too. -

It's light, refreshing, natural-tasting and comes in a convenient plastic bottle. At $2 CAD you can't go wrong. There's enough in one bottle to last me 2 servings. The foam format takes away any "sudsing up" that you'd have to do with a bar or gel. You end up using just the right amount of product, and it works well with hands, a loofah or scrub gloves. I adore the orange creamsicle smell and the sleek bottle. Would absolutely recommend this product, it's so nice for the guest bathroom too - a unisex scent that definitely feels luxurious. Without the high price! -

I definitely don't find it to be gentle in the slightest - the tugging and pulling is very intense on my sensitive skin! That being said, it isn't irritating, per se, and it does serve its purpose. Just make sure to avoid the brows and hairline, and you'll be good. -

This reminds me a lot of my *beloved* Avène Soothing Moisture Mask, or a better version of the LANEIGE Sleeping Mask. It has a nice, thick texture that sits well on the skin, sinking in to calm and plump your complexion. I have combination skin, and find that this mask is very gentle and does not clog pores. A really nice option at the drugstore for when you want to wash-and-go, since I usually forego my toner, serum and moisturizer when I use a sleeping mask. Because, lazy.
I also love the lockable rubber spatula applicator concept, the packaging on this product is truly fabulous. That being said, I think this packaging would be better if the spatula rubber was more flexible - it is hard to smooth the mask around my nose.. and I always need to go in to massage the product thinly so that I can sleep with it on. I think the packaging would be better on the peel-off mask!

I really like the faint fragrance, cute dropper, and high-end feel of this product. It reminds me of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum with its gelly texture and plumping effect. If you want the experience of an expensive serum at a more affordable price-point, definitely look to this little bottle of glow - it's super multi-purpose! -

I have very thin hair, but a lot of it. I also have natural "virgin" hair that has never been coloured or treated heavily. I have combo skin which means my scalp gets plagued with flaky skin, oiliness and buildup just as much as my skin elsewhere. I struggle to find cleansing shampoos that don't strip my hair and scalp but still leave my hair feeling fresh. My first reaction to this Dover Derma+Care Scalp Invigorating Mint shampoo is that it foams up SO MUCH. But not in an annoying way! It's very thick and a little goes a long way. The foam that builds up is so cleansing, I can massage it through my head for at least two minutes to get a very thorough clean. My scalp is left feeling comfortable and healthy after using this shampoo. I usually rotate between 2-3 types of shampoo at a time, so I find myself reaching for this one about 1-2 times per week. I would definitely recommend this shampoo as a good deep cleanse that smells an awful lot better than competitors (*ahem*, H&S;) and doesn't break the bank. -
