I mainly use this to get rid of eye makeup. I use a Q-tip and put a small amount of Vaseline on the swab, then I go along my eyes (under and above) to get rid of the excess makeup from eyeshadow and mascara that can be left behind. Yay!

I got this as a birthday present from a friend. This is a cream eyeshadow stick that I bought in Cosmos - a pale gold-olive green shade. I really like the tube format of this stick - it's so easy to apply. I usually apply it alone to my eyelids so the stick doesn't get mixed up with any other colours. I love the shades and how it's sheer but still visible enough to make a difference to your makeup look. I also sometimes use it as a highlighter in the corners of my eyes to brighten them just a bit. -

I bought the Knees Up butter london polish in time for the holiday season. I honestly love this colour to bits. It's a very beautiful metallic red. The applicator brush and the consistency of the polish glide onto my nails like butter. It's "3 Free" and is free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP. It still smells a little bit when I put my nose up to it, but it doesn't feel as damaging for my nails as some drugstore polishes can. I put two coats on and it looks ravishing. I'd highly recommend this colour. -

I got this as a sample when I used to work in a beauty department. I would never, ever pay this much for a face cream. You're supposed to use it at night before you go to bed, but I think this is more for mature skin than for my still relatively young skin. It was very hydrating, though, that I will admit. -

They sell this online at Anthropologie or eBeauty.ca. It costs around $130. For a face cream, this is not worth it. You can easily find a face cream for a fraction of this cost that's just as good if not better. I got this as a sample and was excited because it was an obscure brand that has won tons of Beauty Awards. I will admit that it is very smoothing and I used it on my hands for moisturizing, too. It helps reduce the redness on my face, like the chin area and around the nose and temple. But I simply can't justify paying this much for a face cream unless I was a millionaire and could afford to. -

I bought these in Black Bean (dark metallic greyish) and Cottage Cheese (white highlighting) from eBeauty. I adore them!!! I usually am not a fan of coloured eyeliners but these were SO cheap I couldn't resist. I use the cottage cheese (horrible name I know) under my waterline so it has a refreshed effect on my eyes. Sometimes I use Black Bean in conjunction with my black eyeliner just to give it a little cool glimmer. It's subtle and not overpowering. This is definitely a steal for the price!! Pick one up just to see what NYX is like - I think after purchasing these pencils I will try out other products in the brand. -
I've found this to be the best drugstore eyeliner I could find. And it's at a great price too! It goes on really well (doesn't tug at your skin), and you can smudge it slightly for a smokey look. It doesn't smudge too easily though... +

I bought this on a whim because the concept just seemed so fun and playful. Using it in reality, was a different story. I didn't really wear it to work because it wasn't office-appropriate. But I did wearing it out clubbing or with the girls (couldn't wear it around my boyfriend because he likes my face to look more "natural" - aka not glittery). You can wear this alone, or on top of eyeshadow or eyeliner. I prefer using it intensely on eyeliner, or a bit more sheer over my eyeshadow. I'd say this is good for girls who like glittery eyeshadow and like to experiment with different looks. If you don't like glitter, do not get this topcoat! -

It goes on really smooth and the colour is buildable. I will definitely try out more colours. Oh, but please keep in mind that it is very matte - which is not my preference- so I add lip gloss on top. -
I got this in Medium off of ebeauty.ca. I'm sort of on the fence about this one. I can't say I like it very much...maybe it's because I don't use concealers that often, they always feel as if I could get the same coverage/concealment... +
I got this in Medium off of ebeauty.ca. I'm sort of on the fence about this one. I can't say I like it very much...maybe it's because I don't use concealers that often, they always feel as if I could get the same coverage/concealment using a regular liquid foundation powder instead. I guess it did reduce puffiness, but I can't say that it made my eyes feel super refreshed. Maybe it's just me... -
