Wonderful Pistachios
I had never tried these until my SO got me addicted a few years ago. The seasoning is so much better than any other pistachios I've tried - fresh and salty, but not overly seasoned. Just perfect. And I very rarely find inedible pistachios in the bag... +
I had never tried these until my SO got me addicted a few years ago. The seasoning is so much better than any other pistachios I've tried - fresh and salty, but not overly seasoned. Just perfect. And I very rarely find inedible pistachios in the bag - they are very good quality. Unfortunately, they are pretty expensive, so we only buy them when they are on sale. It is a nice treat for us both when they do go on sale, though. -

I only have three options to shop for the high end skincare and makeup products in my collection - the popular beauty boutique, the department store, and Shopper's Drug Mart Beauty Boutique. The Beauty Boutique wins on all levels. Every Shopper's Beauty Boutique that I have visited is spacious and has a large selection - I can almost always find what I'm looking for. So they win that one. The staff don't attack me (department store vampires, go away!), but are still quick to greet me and help if anything is needed (popular boutiques - I see your greeters, but why can't I find you inside?). Actually, they are incredibibly friendly, and often have specialists in the stores. So they win that one, too. And they give me PC Optimum Points along with my free samples??? Win number three! My last favourite thing about the Beauty Boutique - they are spacious. I despise the tight quarters and branded popularity of the "Starbucks" boutique of makeup, fighting for elbow space with the hipsters and teens who don't realize there's something better just down the mall aisle, lol. Silly kids. -

We adopted our 95 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback when she was 4 years old, and she'd had no leash training at all. She's also very excited about walks, but reactive to dogs, cats, bunnies, and squirrels. So walking her is a nightmare. The collar made her choke and gag. I had no control. The first harness rubbed her doggo armpits raw, and I still had no control. She just dragged me along. Then I got the Julius K9. All of the torque in her pulling is across her chest, so she doesn't hurt herself. It also has the added advantage of distibuting the weight of her pull so I can control her better. And it has a great handle on top, so I have some extra leverage if a squirrel has the nerve to cross our path.
If you have ever seen a Rhodesian Ridgeback with a touch of Pit Bull, you can imagine how intimidating she looks, especially when she lunges (for kisses, but still!). I feel like her fuschia harness with the customized "Diva" name patch helps make her look a little less scary (yes - the "Julius K9" branding on the side is removable and replaceable!). While letting me control her better. This #chick and her #doggochick love it. If something ever happened to it, I'd definitely buy another!

Even alone, it takes my short sparse lashes and fills them out, making them longer and actually visible. Visible lashes! That means a lot in my life! It is incredibly lightweight and flexible, and doesn't clump or flake off. -

I got my first eyelash extensions for the first time in January for a trip to the tropics. I loved the look, but I hated the price, the time to apply, and the fact that they irritated my eyes. So long before the last lash fell off, I started my search for a mascara that would have the same results. It seems that a primer is recommended, so I thought I'd try. Diorshow mascara is great, so why not the primer? It extended my lashes before applying mascara, which was cool. But I really liked the fact that it's white - I can actually tell when I have enough primer on because my lashes are white. And I can tell when I have a good coat of mascara on, because they are no longer white. Trust me, this is a definitely benefit when you are half asleep and doing your makeup at 5:30AM. In combination with my Diorshow mascara, my lashes were longer and thicker looking, but very defined and lightweight (read "no spider lashes"). I like it. -

I just moved, and came across a half used bottle of this that I had purchased in California. I have that weird fine but thick hair, that's a little wavy, and goes frizzy at the mere mention of moisture. This was a godsend in California, and I don't know why I stopped using it! I was so excited to find it this morning! I have been using a salon anti-frizz for a month or so, but have been disappointed. This morning I smoothed on the lovely smelling Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum, and my hair is gorgeous. I usually curl it to camoflauge the frizz, but today I'm going straight! I love that it does the job as promised, doesn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or greasy, and is one ninth the price of the last salon anti-frizz product I purchased. I'm a product snob, I admit it, but this is one of the cheap wonders that I really did love. I promise you Garnier, I will buy this again! -

Along with my favourite cleanser, my skin gets so clean after using it. The compact size is great for keeping it in the shower, or bringing on vacation. But more than anything, I feel like the silicone nature of this product is much more hygenic and easy to keep clean. I honestly don't use the app - all I need to know is that I'm not breaking out in rosacea bumps from using it, and my skin has never felt better. If I lost or broke it, I'd definitely replace it right away! -

I was 46 years old (yes, that's right) before I finally found a perfume I loved. I never wore one before that, and I had never tried Chanel because I thought it was old fashioned. Turns out there is a reason for the staying power of Coco Chanel perfumes. She knew her stuff. This perfume is sexy and feminine, and I love the classic design of the bottle on my vanity. One problem I've had with most perfumes I've tested, whether I liked the scent or not, is that they didn't stay with me for long. This one fades too, but it lasts longer than most. -
