I really like this anti-perspirant! It is very gentle on my skin and provides good odour and wetness protection. It feels like it has moisturizing qualities, too (although I don't know if that's what it's specifically designed for). Best of all, it is scent free which is important to me because (a) I find scented products can be drying and (b) it never conflicts with any other scented products or fragrances I might be wearing. No parabens either! Definitely a staple in my bathroom. -
McCain Breakfast Homefries
I love homefries! This is my favourite breakfast potato and I like them with fresh tomatoes and sunnyside-up eggs. I really like these on colder days because they feel like a warm hug in the tummy :)

Nestlé Good Start 1

I had every intention of feeding all of my babies exclusively with breast milk, but as most moms eventually learn, it's not always up to us!
With my first baby, we had problems getting started with breast feeding because - surprise surprise! - neither of us really knew what we were doing. She needed to be supplemented from almost Day One to ensure healthy growth.
With my second baby, he was such a hungry little boy that I was never able to keep up with the demand. We also supplemented him with formula.
With my last baby, I was at this point a very busy mom and had had such a good experience with formula the first two times that we supplemented for convenience and on an as-needed basis.
It was an eye opener going from a hard line of "I will ONLY breastfeed!" to realizing that many moms don't really have a choice. Some women aren't physically able to breastfeed, while others have tons of other valid reasons.
So when with my first baby I asked my doctor for a recommendation for formula she suggested Good Start, that's what I bought and I ended up sticking with it. Yes, breast is always best, but I had a really good experience with Good Start and I felt confident feeding it to my babies.
Feeding babies should be a 100% judgment free zone, whether you nurse in public or whether you choose formula for any reason. All that matters is that our babies are healthy and happy! I would definitely recommend Good Start to my friends.

I tried the new Magnum Double Peanut Butter Ice Cream Bar at #ElevateLoungeTO and it was To Die For! I am not so much a peanut butter ice cream fan but this completely blew my mind. It was just the perfect balance between peanut butter taste and that decadent outer dark chocolate dip.
I have always loved Magnum ice cream bars because they have such a premium taste, but all I can say is try this yourself. You will love it!! I can't wait to buy these again. They are usually sold in a box of 3 bars.

This body wash smells absolutely incredible, but without the fake smell that most body washes have. This legitimately smells like rain on freshly turned earth, or whatever you'd associate with your thoughts on what a redwood forest should smell like (disclaimer: I've never been there, but this is what I think it would be like).
I really love the Method brand and its commitment to eco-friendliness. Although these products are a little more costly than your average products, it is very worthwhile in my opinion. I have loved every product I've used from Method and definitely intend to keep buying them.

I really like this beverage. I normally drink just plain carbonated water but enjoy jazzing it up with fresh or frozen fruit for a little kick. This has just the right amount of lemon-lime with no sweetness to make it super refreshing.
If you are a cola drinker or like those heavily flavoured waters, this will seem a little bitter to you. This is more for those people who like plain or lightly flavoured water without the calories or artificial sweeteners.
I bought a 12-pack of this as soon as I saw them in stores and will definitely buy again. I brought them to the cabin for *personal consumption* but I only actually got to drink 2 of them because my whole family (kids, adults, random visitors) all pounced on them right away too. Love it!

Amope surprised me. I was expecting a product that would slough off the dead skin much like an intensive session with a swedish foot file (or even the razors that they used to use in salons). During my first session, it seemed as though Amope was not removing as much as I had expected UNTIL I brushed my hand over my heels and big toe.
It was like it had been buffed with a very fine sandpaper: smooth, even, and looked so much better! So it's different than a conventional file but I wouldn't say it's better or worse. Rather, it's a complementary part of my at-home pedi sessions and I definitely intend to keep using it.
I also love that you can use this on wet or dry skin. I would love to see this in a rechargeable or corded option rather than disposable battery but then the unit would probably cost more. This is definitely an affordable way to go and I was also happy to see that you can buy replacement heads (saw them at Shoppers I think?) so that's a sanitary bonus.
Good product for the money!

We use these wipes all the time. I have a canister in each bathroom and one in the kitchen. While I generally prefer using cleaners with less chemicals, I absolutely do not fiddle around with bathroom and kitchen germs. For my young kids, an easy Saturday job for them is "knobs and switches", where I have them go around with a Lysol wipe and wipe all the doorknobs, light switches, TV remote controls, etc. We do extra passes through the house during cough and cold season, and I really feel like it makes a difference in the germ load of my house. -

I just love this movie so, so much. Suspense, geeky sci-fi details, emotion.. it has it all. I was so stressed out after seeing it in theatres because it had gotten me so caught up in the movie.
If you liked 'Gravity' (with Sandra Bullock and George Clooney) you will really enjoy 'Interstellar'. But if you're looking for more heart-pounding action along the lines of a typical action movie you might find this a little slow.
I have already recommended this movie to dozens of people. Love it!
