I love V8 V-Fusion, and so do my kids. I have always been picky about buying juice, sticking to 100% juices instead of "juice beverages" which have extra sugar. V8 V-Fusion is 100% juice, delivers 1 full serving of fruits and 1 full serving of veggies per 8 ounces, and tastes really good! My personal favourite flavour is Pomegranate & Blueberry.
Of course, no juice is a proper substitute for fruits and veggies in their natural state (because of the fiber content, etc), but I think this is a great option for families who enjoy juice and are looking for healthier options.
This product comes in a large bottle (46 oz / 1.4L) and smaller lunchbox-sized cans and bottles.

I keep a stash of the small size scented bags in my van for on-board litter collection. They are also great for sequestering stinky objects during road trips like smelly shoes! They are somewhat less effective for home use only because the scent does not really last that long depending on how often you change your bags. What's nice is that the scent is extremely mild and pleasant, not at all overpowering. -
I like these ice cream sandwiches. I really can't tell the difference between these and the "regular" ice cream sandwiches, so if you're looking for a healthier alternative this is a good one.

So sue me, I love chips. My kids love chips. Eliminating this snack from our life just doesn't seem like an option right now, but one option we do have is finding healthier alternatives.
That's why I like Sun Chips. They are both much higher in whole grains and lower in sodium than regular potato chips. They have a good selection of flavours, and because of the whole grains you are satisfied more quickly and therefore eat fewer.
Obviously it's still a snack food and should be enjoyed in moderation. But for those occasions when we're craving chips, it's our go-to.

I love this trail mix and so does my whole family. It is a simple mixture of peanuts, cashews, almonds, raisins, and M&Ms.
Obviously due to the nuts and M&Ms the fat component is a little high. The raisins and M&Ms also mean the sugar content is high, but overall it's a better option than most road snacks while still being a treat. The protein and healthy fats really keep you satisfied longer!
We like to bring these on road trips or long hikes. You can also easily make your own too (many people call it "GORP" for "good ole raisins & peanuts").

Even though I've been much more careful about using sunscreen in my 30s than I was in my 20s, I have started to see some noticeable discoloration and sun spots on my face. Naturally, when I received this product from the brand to test, I was very excited to try it.
It is designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and even skin tone due to the exfoliating properties of the ingredients. Although the packaging mentions that redness and flaking is normal and temporary, I didn't experience either. It glides on with just a slight tingle and soaks in very quickly. In fact, you need to spread it quickly or the pea-sized amount will not cover your face.
I definitely noticed an improvement in some of my fine lines and my pores have been clearer. I don't know if there's been tons of improvement on my discoloration, but I've only been using it for about 1 month and assume it will take a little longer to see those changes more plainly. For a few days I forgot to use the cream and I noticed some of my fine lines becoming more noticeable again. While I may have foolishly hoped that they might be actually disappearing, it made me all the more aware of how well the cream helps *when used regularly*.
This is a costly beauty product (around $55) but a little goes a long way. I've heard some nasty stories of prescription-strength retinol creams and am very happy with the gentle nature of this serum for that reason alone.
I recommend this product, despite the high price. If your fine lines are non-existent or extremely faint, you may not get as much benefit out of this, but for me (mid-30s) it was a perfect fit.

Pros:
This product really gives me a soft and gently cleansed feeling after using where other exfoliants often leave me feeling stripped of moisture. The grit is just right to make my skin feel refreshed without scraped or unaffected (I don't like those micro exfoliators that really don't feel like they are doing anything at all). I don't have an acne problem at the moment but have seen an improvement in some of my clogged pores and blackheads. The product is also paraben-free.
Cons:
The product scent was unexpected and vegetable-y (advertised ingredients include mango, bamboo, and of course tomato). Since this brand is all about being natural and using fewer artificial ingredients, this makes sense but I think they could have improved a bit in this area.
Bottom line: super effective, but sniff it in the store before buying it. It's not for everyone. I'm planning to try their "Yes to Grapefruit" scrub next. It smells wonderful!

I must admit that I never tried this blush until this weekend because of the way the product looks in the compact - goldy, glittery.. it just didn't seem like it would work for me despite everyone saying it is universally flattering (I guess I'm a slow learner!).
However, when I finally did try it I was very impressed. It wore pinker than I thought (which is the spectrum I usually use) and really did look natural. I used a light application which probably helped. I can see that if you really layer it on that the peachy and shimmery attributes might be more pronounced.
While I'm very happy with my current cream blush, NARS Orgasm is now (finally) on my radar. The hype lives up to reality!

When I lived in Germany I used to buy these chocolates all the time! They are really tasty and the small size makes it both easier (portion control!) and harder ("I can eat extra because they are small!") to enjoy. It's a nice switch from the common brands if you want to try something new, and the different chocolate varieties all packed into a single box means there's a flavour for everyone in your group. -
