I purchased this breast pump from Medela a few years ago, only mine also came with a manual attachment as an accessory.
This is a pretty basic model, but as I quickly learned, it doesn't have to be fancy. Medela is one of the most popular name brands in pumps and through 3 babies this pump stuck with me and was still going strong when I weaned my last baby.
I cannot stress enough how important it is for new moms to start with electric. Manual pumps take time for you to master the technique, and when pumping has to happen quickly, you want to go straight to electric. This particular model comes with a plug-in attachment for at home and a battery pack when you're out and about (not that you necessarily want to pump away from home, but trust me - anything's possible). As I said, my model also came with a manual pump attachment for times when batteries run low or you lose your plug-in: that was very handy.
You can adjust the suction strength and there are inserts if your nipples are on the smaller side. This pump is fairly noisy, but I have never seen a machine that was completely silent. Replacement parts are readily available (don't underestimate the importance of that!) and overall it's a great entry level pump, especially if you have a strict budget.
If I could have afforded to, I would have purchased the double pump to save time, but this does the job well and I recommend it!

This is a solid product for me. I have a strong natural wave that tends to frizz out in a hairdo I angrily call The Broomstick (think old school, Wicked Witch of the West kind of broomstick).
With this mousse, I have soft, defined waves that are no curlier than my natural look but it all looks more organized and actually styled. Not too bad for a product that takes me 2 minutes to apply, scrunch in, and go. There is no crunchiness (unless I overapply of course) and the scent dissipates quickly - and it's not at all unpleasant to begin with.
This will not make straight hair curly. Take it at face value instead - "curl defining mousse". I will buy this product again.

This gorgeous dark teal blue shade is part of OPI's new "Swiss Shades" line. As with all OPI nail polishes, it glides on with loads of colour and has decent staying power.
It's a dark, almost navy shade and will stain your cuticles if you aren't careful. But what an amazing, eyecatching hue!
I love it!

This exfoliating body wash is amazing at sloughing old skin and smells wonderful.
It's a little too expensive for my liking as a shower staple and the granules are fairly coarse so I only use this product about once per week.
But the Biotherm line as a whole is good quality and I'm consistently pleased with it. I think Lait de Gommage is a great pampering product perfect for a gift basket or a special self treat.
I received this product from the brand to review.

I find this toilet cleaner works just as well as Lysol and the other brands. It has a gentle citrusy smell and the ingredients are naturally derived and biodegradable.
I recommend it!

The product has a pleasant citrusy scent and does its job well. The ingredients are from naturally derived sources and are biodegradable. Really, what more do you want?
I recommend the whole Green Works line! Although through my job at ChickAdvisor I have often received freebies from brands, I did not get anything from Green Works and instead purchase them full price on my own. Yup, they're that good.

If you have stubborn stains or buildup, this may not be the best product for the job. I use baking soda to gently scour soap scum off my bathtub and shower doors instead. That would be true of other non-abrasive products, eco-friendly or not. For that reason, I would say that no additional elbow grease is needed - for what this product is designed for and should do, it is a great choice.
Love the whole GreenWorks line! There are often coupons to be found and it goes on sale regularly. The only other product line I like as well is from Method, and that's harder to find.
Thumbs up!

GreenWorks laundry detergent gets my laundry perfectly clean, fresh-smelling and is less damaging to the environment than most other brands. This is a case where you won't have to choose between a good washing result and an eco-sensitive formula.
I found this on sale at my local Target and had a coupon besides, but would happily pay full price for this product.

I received this in #55 'Tempting Toffee' to review. It is now one of my favourite glosses.
The wear is quite moisturizing and the colour is the perfect combo of sheer and pigment payoff. For a gloss, it is less sticky than I expected which is always a big plus in my books. The fragrance reminds me of cake batter and the taste is pleasantly sweet - let's face it: we end up licking it off even if we try not to.
This particular shade is a warm red that I think would flatter almost any skin tone. I would purchase this product again. Thumbs up!

Also a big fan of Palmolive and GreenWorks, but this really is my #1. I prefer it in the liquid concentrate - not as happy with the foam pump version as I find it does not last nearly as long.
