I have purchased this product several times before, in fact the whole Greenworks line - from laundry soap to disinfecting wipes to bathroom cleaners. It works just as well as any other brand and I almost always find it on sale or have a coupon.
As far as this dishwashing liquid, I find that Dawn concentrate works just a smidge better, but I like the biodegradable angle and other "green" aspects most of all.

After many years of insisting that I love to wear eyeglasses (and I still do - I think it can be a great fashion statement!) I finally jumped back on the part-time contact lens train. It had been quite some time since I wore them as I have low tear production and found them incredibly uncomfortable to wear longer than a few hours at a time.
My optometrist and I went through 3 or 4 different brands before she special-ordered the Acuvue Moist dailies (I think I'll have to send her some chocolates?). Although they are more expensive than any of the others I tried (around $70 for 90 pairs), they are very much worth the cost. I get extra days out of mine by using contact lens cleansing products (any brand works for me), so a 90-day supply will probably last me at least 3-4 times longer than that. I also don't wear them every single day.
Just like the name suggests, these feel moist and soft as though you are wearing nothing at all. I have not had to use Artificial Tears once since trying these.
If you have had problems with dry eye, I suggest you ask for Acuvue Moist!

I have a scoop in my lower back that makes finding a proper fit tricky, but these jeans sit perfectly in place. After several dozen washes, the fit is still 100% true to what I tried on in the changing room.
I bought these during GAP's Give & Get promo (30% off), but would happily pay full retail price for these jeans.

I prefer the Satin Drops just a little better, but I suppose it might depend on the style you are going for. The Lustre Lotion soaks in more whereas the Satin Drops seem to stay on the surface of your hair. If it's sheen you're going for, use the Lustre Lotion. For more shine, try Satin Drops.

I received this limited edition eye shadow palette from Lancome to review.
Part of their Bronze Riviera collection, this six-piece palette includes the shades Flower (light pink base), Fresh Rose (shimmery peach-pink), Kitten Heel (metallic pink highlight), Tropiques Glow (golden metallic), Lounging (medium brown sheen), and Lava (shimmery dark brown). It's part of their summer collection, but I think I will be able to use most of this trans-seasonally with other colours.
The compact has a magnetic closure and large mirror - huge points for this! The applicator is a brush instead of the ubiquitous sponge, but I didn't care for it and use my own brushes instead.
I use this palette to create a smokey rose eye which offsets my green eyes very nicely. The mid colours wear fairly sheer, so I found it best to use with a primer to get the best colour payoff.
This limited edition compact is sold out in many places, but if you can still get your hands on it I think it's a great buy. 6 great shades and nice large compact from a top end brand - good enough for me!

Chicklit fave Emily Giffin's latest novel is about loss: a couple's dwindling marriage, and a single mother's near brush with losing her son in a devastating accident. Their lives intertwine as the stories are told side by side from different perspectives.
I'll start off by saying that this is true to Giffin form - always asking the question "what is a dealbreaker?" I felt sympathy for all the characters to different degrees and was fairly engrossed in the story.
While I found it a decent read, I preferred her earlier novels. This book, as most others, finds a way to tie in characters from before - though I found it forced here. If you have never read Giffin before you will probably not peg the ending. However, if you are an avid fan, you'll see this conclusion from a mile away.
Good read, but not her best.

It has been a long time since I tried a DIY hair colour that was worth writing home about. I had gone back to paying salon prices for a few years because come wash #5 or 6 I'd find my home colour going brassy or mousy.
Garnier Nutrisse is very moisturizing and totally covered my grays. The colour is luminous and I am absolutely in love with the way my hair looks. While the colour has softened from its first intensity, it's still a lovely shade that looks very natural - not at all washed out. I would even go so far as to say this is the closest product to salon colour I've tried and I will be sure to buy this again.
In fact, through my position at ChickAdvisor I receive many products for free to test. This one though I bought myself and am 110% sold.
