I received this Lise Watier body lotion from the Désirable fragrance line to test.
What I liked about it:
* the scent is wonderful, made me want to buy the perfume! It's also reasonably long-lasting.
* I do like to match my bath and body products, and this fragrance line has it all.
What I disliked:
* as with every other perfume-matching body product I've tried, this has the wonderful scent going for it but it's not more moisturizing than other products. I was forced to use my regular body lotion as well - kind of defeats the purpose (but in fairness, it's January...)
* the price is too expensive if I can't use it the way it was intended.
Bottom line: choose this for the milder months when scent-layering is more important than fighting winter dryness. If you love the perfume, this lotion will not disappoint.

I received this shower gel to test from the Désirable fragrance line.
The scent is really beautiful, I'm considering picking up the perfume! For the purposes of scent-layering, this body wash certainly gets the job done - it's reasonably long lasting and lathers up into mounds of sensuous, teeny tiny bubbles. The matching body lotion is also available, and I've used them together several times (separate review posted).
However, I don't find that this product really does it for me. As with every other perfume giftset body wash I've ever owned, it really isn't particularly moisturizing and for the price point I have to say I'm not sure I'd buy it again. Perfectly happy to receive it as a gift, mind!
Bottom line: a decent pick for milder times of the year. If you love the perfume, you'll definitely want this too.

I received this cream perfume for review in Organic Vanilla reve and Mango poudre (separate review posted). It is an all-natural, organic perfume with the consistency of lip balm. You swipe your finger in the product and apply by hand. The ingredients for vanilla reve: 100% organic sweet almond oil (63%), 100% organic perfume (20%), 100% organic beeswax (17%).
The website describes its scent best: "Fresh top notes of vanilla and fruity mandarin with apricot, followed by heart notes of jasmine and violet. Ends with an adorable combination of vanilla and mild honey expression." Very sweet and fruity, and I must say noticeably different on the skin compared to in the jar.
I prefer the mango poudre scent. This one was just too sweet for me. What I do love about it is the practicality. The cute wooden jar won't break easily, and even if it did you need not worry about spilling the perfume everywhere because of its hard consistency. It is extremely practical to carry around in your purse or luggage, and since it's only about the size of a golf ball it takes up very little space.
I don't think I'd buy this particular fragrance again, but I am sold on the brand. They have a good selection and I love the natural ingredients and convenience. You can buy it singly on the Kaponga website, or in a triple pack from Amazon - much cheaper on a per unit basis, and you can always give the extra product away in a gift.

It's hard to really describe the scent. From the website: "Truly seductive scents of mango and cassis balanced with timeless jasmin and candy sugar accord. A tropical favorite with sandalwood, musk and vanilla." It's a smooth, fruity (yet musky) fragrance that lasts a long time and smells wonderful on me. I wouldn't say it's exactly sexy, but rather warm and just really pleasant.
The packaging is cute and practical - a wooden jar that you don't have to worry about breaking in your purse or luggage, and the fact that it's a hard cream means you'll never spill it accidentally. It's about the size of a golf ball, so it doesn't take up a lot of space either.
I would definitely consider buying this product again. You can purchase it singly on the Kaponga website or in a triple pack on Amazon (much cheaper on a per unit basis, and you can always give the extra product away as a gift).

I have used Mary Kay's Satin Hands hand cream off and on over the years, usually alone but also after using the Satin Hands hand scrub. Together, they really do produce satiny smooth hands unlike any other hand cream/combo I've ever tried. It has a light scent and absorbs almost instantly.
I really dislike attending those home parties for any company (eg. Pampered Chef, Tupperware, etc), but if I find myself guilt-tripped into attending a Mary Kay shindig I always order this cream. It's also reasonably priced (the scrub is around double the cost). Winter-chapped hands will thank you, and so I recommend it!

I received this Lise Watier blush to review in Rose Cachemire, a pretty soft rose color. I'm not really a big blush user, but this color suits me so well that I might change my mind. What I really love about it, though, is the compact itself (I have the square compact pictured here). The brush is cleverly hidden in its own compartment below the blush pot so it stays separate from the makeup.
The majority of the Lise Watier makeup line looks so sophisticated by the packaging, I'd almost buy it just for that. Good thing the products live up to the appearance and then some ;) Lise Watier fans will want to add this blush powder to their collection!

I received this lip balm to review, and as a dedicated Lise Watier fan was quite pleased. It moisturizes well without the typical tingling that other brands have (maybe you like that, I don't always). It is much more expensive than I would usually spend on a simple balm, but it does the job and I recommend it. -

I received this Lise Watier lipstick to review recently in Cosmo Pink (#70512). This color is a soft matte rose pink with little flecks of glitter that glides on smooth and feels quite comfortable to wear.
I must admit, as a genuinely converted Lise Watier fan I felt a wee bit let down by it. I found it too matte and too pink, but with a few dabs of MAC's lustreglass in Instant Gold in the center of my pout it was quite dramatic.
Overall I prefer the Lise Watier Toscana Gloss Stick (I have Rose) because it's more moisturizing and requires no second step to create the look I wanted - but I hear it's been discontinued and I'm now on the lookout for its replacement.
I give this lipstick a Thumbs Up, but at its price point I'm not 100% sold.

I received this eyeliner in Black Orchid (#41164) to test and have been wearing it for most of the holiday season. This color is a deep purple with discreet silvery sparkles - similar to the Lise Watier Glitter Pencils. Unlike the Glitter Pencils, this formula glides on really smoothly and lends itself well to smudging if you're so inclined.
Normally I would never spend $16 on "just" an eyeliner, but in this case I'd be happy to make an exception. I definitely recommend it!

I have never been a huge fan of Softsoap products, but when recently staying with a relative I gave this a try. I was most pleasantly surprised.
This product contains almond oil and shea butter, and you'll feel it in the shower immediately. During the cold dry winter months my skin is usually unbearably tight and chapped. I did not need to apply any body lotion after using this wash, and the light smell vanished quickly leaving just a hint of sweetness that did not clash with the perfume I wore later.
My skin did react a little bit at first (minor itchiness only), but I've found in the last few years that I've become more sensitive overall. I couldn't say that it was the fault of this product, but I have used others that produced no reaction at all.
Overall it's something I'd buy again, especially in winter!
