I was on a Chocolatey Delight kick for a while, but it was more like when you pretend you love Hershey because you can't afford Lindt. It's good enough, but I doubt anyone would stick to this longterm. The chocolate is the same quality as your average chocolate chip and the crispies have that salty tinge (that most cereals do) which just clashes. I personally much prefer Special K Red Berries (w/ dried strawberries).
Still, for the price point and that late-night snack attack, it does the trick without killing your diet.

Wall-E is a small garbage disposal robot left on Earth to clean up the mountains of garbage the humans left behind when they fled to space after Earth was no longer habitable. 700 years later, he's still doing the same job but comes to realize he's lonely. A probe sent from the human ship to search for signs of life on Earth catches his attention, and his big adventure begins. It's a Save-The-World movie with humor, romance, social and environmental commentary, and just great fun. The movie is truly appropriate for all ages: clean, not scary, overt and subtle humor, and really really well made.
This goes on my Amazon list as soon as it's released. I definitely recommend it!

For a mom on the run (who'd like to lose, say 5 pounds), these South Beach snack bars are pretty good! I used to buy Quaker Granola bars, but in comparison I found them too sweet and not filling enough. The South Beach bars have a higher calorie count but also much more protein and I do find they keep me full much longer. I don't regularly use them as meal replacements (it's more like I pop a few in my purse when I'm going somewhere and don't want to be tempted by fast food), but I can well imagine that they'd do a decent job.
I haven't tried that many flavors yet. So far, Chocolate is my favorite. The only complaint I have is that they are quite expensive, especially compared to Quaker :(

I should start my comments by pointing out that I've only ever used Crest Whitestrips before trying out the Listerine strips. I've never used dentist-supplied trays. 'K, disclaimer finished.
What I liked:
-convenience! Wow, so easy to use and you really could leave the house with these on and not worry about finding a trash can later to dispose of used-up strips.
-most attractive option. They appear virtually invisible on your teeth, though as they start to dissolve it kind of looks like you have a little extra saliva on your teeth. They also don't make your shlur your shpeech because the edges are the first place to wear off. Love that!
-the product seems to taste better than Crest. More like toothpaste, less chemical-ish.
What I didn't like:
-they don't seem to whiten quite as well as the Crest product. I'm guessing it's because the product is literally swallowed away before the full 10-15 minutes of whitening is finished.
-the very idea of swallowing bleach and strip components. Yuck. I know you swallow some bleach with other products too, but the idea here is that you swallow all of it.
I have to give this product a qualified "no", just because it seems less effective and I'm really not comfortable with swallowing all that stuff. However, I can't say it sucked. I'd consider switching from Crest were it not for the dissolving issue.

I like this mascara quite a bit, and agree with most of the comments made already by other reviewers. The only thing I'd like to mention is that I don't really like how large the handle of the wand is. I'm used to a skinny handle, and this always feels awkward, like I'm about to drop it. The wand itself though is great - I didn't think I would like such a big applicator, but it works! -

I enjoyed reading this book. After reading some of the comments by other readers, I wasn't sure what to expect.
Lindsay is a flawed heroine, over accommodating and seemingly afraid to make the tough decisions - but this is true of many of us. Do we like her? We want to because she's sweet and good intentioned, but her choices leave us shaking our heads at times. Another reader commented that she needs to be slapped. I remember several Candace Bushnell books where the protagonist was much less likable and very manipulative - does this make this book bad? Bridget Jones is also flawed. I think we see ourselves in Lindsay, not that we're proud of it, but we can identify (and sometimes uncomfortably so).
As to the writing style, I also noticed that some of the segments did not flow quite as well. I think it improved by the middle section and was an easier read from there on. I liked her use of journal and email blocks which is similar to what Sophie Kinsella uses as a way of injecting humor and perspective.
Here is also where I widely differ from the previous reviewer: much of the chick lit I have read blithely ignores typical literary tools and just runs like a conversation. Run-on sentences, sentence fragments, etc. are par for the course. If you use a more standardized storytelling, the impact is lessened in my opinion.
This may not be the next great American (er, Canadian!) classic, but it's a fun enough read for me.

I'm having a serious love affair with Lise Watier lately, including the Toscana collection eye shadow quads, Plumpissimo gloss, and now this gloss stick (mine is "Rose"). It's made with olive oil and is truly the most moisturizing lip gloss I have ever used! It also has a pleasant fragrance and taste, does not leave lips sticky at all, and is nude enough that it leaves just enough color to make you look summery and fresh without obviously painted.
Unfortunately, they only have 4 colors so far and other than London Drugs, I am having a hard time finding other retailers that carry it... hopefully that will soon change! The shades are Rose, Ambre, Orange, and Sable - and since they are so transparent, I think most women of any skin hue will be able to use one of them.
Love it love it!

I'm not usually the sort to buy high-end makeup, so I didn't know what to expect when I received this eyeshadow collection from Lise Watier. I really love this eyeshadow quad, especially the champagne and gold tones! I haven't quite figured out how to use the greens properly, since I usually use a simpler palette and don't have a lot of experience blending many different shades in a flattering way. I love how this color combo really captures a sunkissed summer feeling, and I would definitely buy this again (especially on sale!) ;) -

I own the brown and green glitter pencils, and must agree with MissChickie here. They are less flashy than I thought they'd be and add a little extra something to your makeup. I like to wear them with just a little champagne base eyeshadow and mucho mascara - it makes the eyeliner stand out a little more. I think if you used it with a strong eye palette the effect would be lost and then you may as well use your cheaper brand eyeliner instead.
I was surprised that the sparkles really don't seem to scratch, nor do they bleed onto my face as the day progresses. I would love these in navy and aqua shades - so fun! Thumbs up from me!

This is a fabulous product to have under your bathroom cabinet or in the zipper pouch of your beach bag. Two prepared strips are stuck together which you warm between your hands (I chafe my hands a little to hurry things up, or lay them in the sun for a minute), peel apart and slap on. It leaves very little residue (which you clean off with the included towelettes) and does a pretty thorough job. While I can't fairly compare it to a warm wax treatment and certainly not to a professional job, it does the trick quickly and simply.
I reuse my strips during the waxing session (not that I save them for the next one, that's gross!) by sticking the two strips back together. Mash them a little to press each side's wax layer into the other, rewarm and pull apart. I find you can get easily 4 or 5 waxes out of each strip, more if you're a little less (*ahem*) hairy. I've never used these on my face, but they work really well for armpits and bikini.
