Good cookie, and the coconut flavour is pleasingly front and centre! The cookie is a bit of a hard bake, but I assume that's because of the focus on real ingredients and fewer preservatives, and anyone who bakes at home knows that cookies do harden up with time.
Because of the strong coconut flavour, it's wonderful for dunking in tea or coffee (and in that case, the harder texture helps because the cookie doesn't fall apart right away). I really enjoyed this cookie although I do still wish it was a little chewier.

When they say "heavy cream", they really aren't kidding! It's a super thick, super rich formula that - surprise! - soaks in beautifully and leaves no residue other than a delicious cake-like scent. I say "surprise" only because I'm used to having a little grease left behind from my other products. Most recently I was using plain coconut oil on my driest skin during the winter and while it was effective for me, my skin was still always oily.
Of all the Cake Beauty products I've purchased so far, this is definitely my favourite. I love that it doesn't have many of the controversial ingredients so I feel good about using it. It's also made in Canada! Sure, it's a little more expensive than what I've bought in the past but it's worlds better too so I think it's definitely worth it. Great gift idea too!

I bought this for my husband who has been using Dove Men products for years. He isn't one to say a lot about his personal care products, but the fact that he keeps asking me specifically to buy this kind says volumes. Best of all, since it's available at almost every drug and grocery store, it's easy for him to find if he's shopping (he has no patience for searching). Good product for him and I'm sure we'll continue to buy it going forward. -

I have been using Dove Coconut & Hydration shampoo and conditioner for a couple of weeks now and am pretty happy with how my hair has responded to both. I can tell that the conditioner delivers more moisture than other conditioners I've used before. I do still like to deep condition every once in a while because my hair is colour treated so it needs a TON of hydration. I definitely think this would be fabulous everyday conditioner for someone with normal hair, and I'm happy to continue using it for mine in tandem with a bi-weekly treatment for its extra needs.

Another solid hair care product from Dove. It definitely felt like my hair had more moisture after using this, since the shampoo I was using before this was not one specifically for hydration. The scent was nice and light, not too heavy on the hair after styling. Dove products in general really seem to agree with my skin and hair, so it's a brand I often buy again.

I have had the privilege to try many mascaras as part of my job, both from high end brands and more accessibly priced ones, and Voluminous Feline is my unqualified favourite at the moment. I was always a fan of the original Voluminous but had experimented with other ones (because hey, who doesn't like switching things up once in a while!). This mascara delivers both volume and length - ridiculous length especially after the 2nd coat! - and I would gladly recommend this far and wide.

This nail polish glides on so smoothly, consistently, and with such great colour payload that I probably didn't even need a second coat - but of course I did. After admiring the finished results, it dawned on me that the expected smell of the product wasn't nearly as strong as usual. CND Creative Play is free of 7 ingredients that many other products use, and I recognize some of those as being Volatile Organic Compounds (which means they off-gas and that's why they're so smelly). This is really important to me and clearly the quality is just as good if not better for not including those ingredients.
I paired this with the base and top coat, two products that I've used in the past (not by CND; it was just some random cheap product) and never found that it made a big difference other than protecting from nail discolouration when using highly pigmented products. Again, the finished result and the long lasting wear is proof positive that this pairing of CND's base, top, and colour polishes are worth investing in. CND, you have a huge fan over here, and even though I got my products for free, I will be buying them again and again.

Wow, seriously! Yes I received this for free but my honest opinion is an over-the-top floored one. Blurs my pores so effectively with a velvety finish! There is a coloured inset but it doesn't actually add extra colour so I think this would be a product for any skin hue.
This may be a little pricey but it's so so worth it. Based on how little you need to get the effect you want, I can see this pore vanishing stick lasting a good long while. It's worth it!

I'm just starting to use this Nexxus Conditioner (along with Emergencee Shampoo) so it's a little early to be forming an opinion but so far it's great!
