I was so impressed by this Hydro Boost Night Pressed Serum! Not only does it smell amazingly fresh, it's so soft and feels rich and luxurious. I love using this pressed serum as the last step in my skin care to seal in my previous serums, and a little definitely goes a long way. -
This Hyaluronic serum was very lightweight and felt hydrating on the skin. I tapped it into my skin using my fingers and did not find it sticky to use. It was very easy to layer my products with this serum in my skincare routine!

I have really sensitive skin and usually are very loyal to products that I know works for my skin. But the SkinCeuticals Redness Neutralizer changed my mind and introduced me to the SkinCeuticals line that I've been really enjoying.
Over the past few years, my skin's gotten extremely sensitive. My cheeks would get really red, warm and uncomfortable for no particular reason. I something also get tiny red spots all over that does not look pretty. I tried to moisturize the area but it doesn't always calm down the redness. When the Redness Neutralizer arrived at the office, my cheeks, coincidentally was very irritated. I read up on the product and decided to give it a try.
SkinCeutical's Redness Neutralizer contains NeuroMed Complex, an award winning ingredient that is proven to combats redness and inflammation. Since my skin was a little dry, I've applied it all over my face after I tone, waited for it to dry down a bit and proceeded with my regular moisturizer. That worked really well. But I recently started using the Hydrating b5 gel as a pre-layer, and skipped the moisturizer and found that it works really well at keeping my skin moist and also controlling the redness.
The texture of this product is like a light cream. You need around pumps. The formula is a little sticky at first but dries down quite quickly and actually is a great base for make up. The only downside is that it does smell very heavily like medical/chemical product. Which is good for the skin since there are no fragrance.
I have to say that at first I didn't really believe that this product can make such a huge difference. But after using the product for a while now, I think this product is quite the life saver. My skin's redness/irritation problem has gone down a lot - even my coworkers noticed. Because the redness is reduced, I don't get little red spots all over anymore. (Note - I don't have rosacea so I can't comment on the effects on that)
I'm excited to try this out during the warmer weather and possibly replacing my usual regiment. Although the product is a bit pricey. I will keep repurchasing since its the only product that's made any difference to my redness problems. I definitely recommend this product to people who have redness issues!

I had the opportunity to attend the Perfect Parisian Macaron class at Le Dolci and I really enjoyed my experiences there. Prior to the class I felt that Macaron was a very difficult thing to bake and I will probably not do it on my own. The easy instructions and informative class really changed my mind. They offered a lot of helpful tips that made it a great, fun, learning experience. The instructor was very friendly and experienced. I do agree with Alex that you don't get a 100% hands on experience since it's a group class, but it does cut down on time and it's still informative nonetheless. I think the class is reasonably priced since the amount of macaron you get to take home will cost you about half the class's price ($80) if you purchase it at other places. Overall, I had a great experience and recommend it if you're looking into learning some baking techniques or as a gift! -

I received the Bite Matte Creme Lipstick in Pastille Violet from the Spring 2013 Pastille Collection to review.
I first heard wind of Bite Lipsticks last year around christmas time. A pack of minis came to the office and i took a look at the lipsticks. My first impression was that the lipstick looked chalky in the tube, and rather dry. So from then on, I didn't really look into the brand. But it came into the office recently and the office decided to try. Let me tell you, my first impression was totally wrong!
The lipstick glided on so easily since the formula was so creamy. The colour was super rich and pigmented. I also learned that all the lipsticks are made from food grade ingredients packed with lots of goodies like antioxidants! Looks good and good for you too! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and am curious to try other colours and products from Bite beauty!

If you're looking for an affordable at home gel nail polish system, then you really should check this out. This starter kit at $29.97 is quite a steal! I bought my LED Lamp and the OPI and Shellac top coat, base coat and some colours a while ago and have been loving the whole gel nail idea. It really last a long time. But their price points were quite high! So when the Kiss products came in, I was quite curious since it was a lot cheaper and more available. The starter kit comes with a base coat, top coat, a colour, lint-free wipes, manicure stick, mini file, buff block, and a gel cleanser (phew, that was a lot!). That and a LED lamp is all your really need. I find that the Kiss system is comparable to the other ones I've tried. The colour is quite opaque and 2 coats does the job just fine. The consistency of the nail polishes, oddly enough, is different depending on colours. I do prefer the top and base coat of other brands, but the kiss one does an ok job. The polish did last around the same time as my other gel polishes...around 2 weeks. So all in all, i'm quite impressed and am excited to go to my nearest walmart to purchase other colours! -

I was a bit skeptical of this mascara at first. Looking at the brush and packaging, I feel like it's going to be very similar to the other lash blast mascaras. But I actually to see a difference in length and thickness of my lashes after 2 coats. The mascara applied very thick and dark, which I love, I was actually almost afraid it would flake off by the end of the day so I waited till the next day to write a review. The mascara does curb the clumping and I do enjoy the brush. Overall, though I'm not blown away by this mascaramfor the price, I'd repurchase this in lieu of my other lash blast. -

This product is one of those secret cult products. I first heard about it on Youtube and was then determined to find/try it. I went on a trip to orlando and despite the hefty price tag, i bit the bullet. I want to start the review off by saying that I don't use any type of foundation or tinted moisturizer, so this is sort of out of the ordinary. The thing that drew me in was that this was more of a treatment. It claims to have retinols that are more effective than any OTC retinol treatment yet so gently that it will not irritate the skin at all. I am also a sucker for glowy, highlight-y products. I am really enjoying this product. I don't like the feel of foundations so I still don't use this too often. But when i do, I use it lightly on my cheeks since i have freckles. I love the sheen/glow it gives. And though I haven't seen any drastic improvement from the retinol, I find that when my skin freaks out and I get red spots on my cheeks, this actually calms it right down. You only need very little to cover your face, so this product will last you a while. Overall, I really want to try the range of products, and will repurchase when I see this again! If you're in the market for a more extravagant tinted moisturizer that does a lot more than a regular one, then you should look into this! -

I know I'm reviewing the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, but let me start off with saying that I'm a pretty loyal Apple user, I've had the iPhone 3, 3g & 4 and am using the iPad and macbook. So It was a huge step for me to move on to an android phone. But i am loving this phone so much. It's a lot larger in size, some even call it a phablet (phone x tablet hybrid), but since i've stared using this, I really can't go back to a smaller screen. There are so many functionalities on this phone, multitask, the s pen, flash compatible just to name a few. One of the most impressive thing I found with this phone is its battery life. For a duo-core phone, you'd think that the battery will drain like nobody's business, but let me tell you, I've tried to drain this phone and It's nearly impossible! I also love the fact that it's synced to your gmail account. The only downside is the camera/photo quality. The specs of the cameras between the Note 2 and iPhone 5 are pretty similar, but i do find that the iPhone photos are much better. Other than that, I love love love this phone! -

I've been on a crazy Liquid lipstick frenzy and there were so much buzz about this that I needed to have it. Firstly of all, the tube is super sleek and the colours are just utterly amazing and pigmented. The applicator is pretty standard but it does a good job of evenly applying the product. I first purchase Icon, a rich blue red. The colour is so vibrant and rich and really complimented my skin tone. This product does transfer, but the colour, after a couple hours, is pretty much intact. The thing I like the most about the Hourglass Opaque Rouge is that it's relatively moisturizing and feels comfortable on. Overall, I really do recommend this product, especially the more vibrant colours! -
