I got a PR sample through ChickAdvisor and i couldn't wait to try it this morning. I didn't want to review this until i actually wore it. Usually, perfume smells different from the bottle than actually wearing it. It reacts with your body temp/smell etc and creates slightly different smells. From the bottle, this smells really feminine, sweet and warm. But once i applied it on, it's still very feminine and sweet, but it's more fresh. The staying power is quite good as well. I only used two spritz and it's been 8 hours and i can still smell it. Ali also came into office today and noticed someone wore a new perfume.. so i guess that's a good sign. It's really different from my go to perfume (Chanel Chance) but i think i'l be using this quite a lot. It's not quite up there with Chance, but it's up there. -

I'm really on the fence about this product. It does what a very average mascara can do. It's meant to volumnize and separate. The brush is very flimsy so it does a really good job with separating. But i don't really see the volumnizing effects it has. Due to the brush design, it reaches smaller and hard to reach corners. I use it mainly because i like effect it has on my lower lash line. It doesn't deposit too much, but just enough. It also separates my lower lashes which is what i like.
The down side of this mascara is also the brush design. Since it's so flimsy, i've had quite a few incidents when i pushed to hard and the brush flick, only to leave my face with dots of black mascara.
Overall, if you're a careful person looking for really defined lashes that's not too dramatic, i'd recommend this. But you can also look out for other products that does similar jobs.

I haven't really tried a lot of different wax strips products so i can't really compare this to others. But for a newbie, this product is pretty easy to use. You take it out, rub it between your hands a little and then just apply it to the area. It does work really well in removing hairs and small hair. You can buy the packs with big strips or the ones with smaller ones. They both work really well. On the down side, although they tell you you can reuse the strip until it doesn't stick anymore, i find that i never really get any hair the second time around. So it's really only for 1 - 2 use. Overall, if you're a newbie like me you can try this out. -

I got a PR sample through ChickAdvisor. First of all, the packaging is to die for! It's beautiful and makes me want to carry it around my purse all the time. But in terms of functionality and wear, i find the color to be a pretty ordinary color that you can find in a lot of different brands. It has a good color payoff, and when swiped with the glow, creates a nice sheen that makes your cheeks glowy and healthy. I'm a darker/olive skin tone and instead of the baby pink you see in the blush, it's more of like a flush, a darker pink. Since there's a little bronzy gold shimmer right beside it, i can use this blush and not have to apply any highlighter to create that glowy effect. Overall, it's a good blush. The only thing is that the blush you get for the price is really steep for the content you get. The color, although beautiful, i feel can be easily found with cheaper lines. If i have the means, i would buy it again. Overall, i don't think this blush will disappoint. If you are looking for a nice luxirious blush with a cute packaging, go for it! -

I got a PR sample through ChickAdvisor. I just tried this nail polish and i'm in love. It really is matte velvet. It has a nice and new kind of look to it. I think OPI has a suede nail polish that's similar, but i haven't tried it so i can't compare. But so far, this nail polish goes on easily and smoothly, dries super quick (think less than 5 minutes) Doesn't need too many coats to achieve desired effect, and just looks great. I want to go out and buy some more other colors! -

I've used Becca Cosmetics long ago in Hong Kong and loved a lot of their products. I eventually moved to Canada and haven't really seen Becca around all that much. I recently went to Holt Renfrew and they had A lot of becca cosmetics on sale for more than 60% off. I had to look at it. I didn't go for the foundation/concealer because if i really liked it and they are taking that line away, i would be quite upset. So instead, i looked at the shimmering skin perfectors. I'm actually always looking for highlighters (Powder or liquid) to achieve glowy skin. I have a lot of powder ones and i've recently tried the liquid drops from MAC. They did an okay job at highlighting, but since i have mineral powder foundation on, it screws up my foundation. I tried Becca shimmering perfector and i was so amazed. The texture was very creamy, i just dabbed it lightly on my cheeks and it blended really easily. Not only did it look bronze and glowy, it didn't smear my foundation at all! I also saw photos with it on and it just looks like i have healthy skin. I was amazed.
This shimmering perfector also has SPT 20, Vitamins A, B, D, and E, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic ingredients. This product can be used as a base ( I haven't Tried). Which is amazing. The bottle is huge and i will probably never see the bottom of it, but if i do, even if i have to order online from another country, i will!

I got a PR sample through ChickAdvisor and i must say, I love this lip balm. The packaging is nothing great, and i didn't think that it would work as good because of that. But when i started to use it, i loved it. The main reason i love this is because of how easy it goes on. Usually, i'm lazy and don't put it on till my lips are too chapped. So when i do put it on, some lip balms just sit on top and don't really get absorbed. But lypsyl soaks in really quickly and provides pretty quick relief. It lasts pretty long. The only down side is that it does have a little weird smell/taste, but hey, i'm not eating it, and it works so i'll stick with it : ) -

I love love love my Iphone... i don't even know where to start. I previously used a PDA phone and the quality, screen quality, speed, etc doesn't even compare. There are apps for everything you can imagine. The Interface itself is really easy to use. I haven't ran into any problems yet and i've had mine for about 1 year and a couple of months. I do think that the phone is pretty plain jane if you don't have a data plan, but if you do, the possibilities are endless. The only downside is the keyboard, it's still a bit difficult to use but you get used to it. I can now check/reply my emails anywhere, watch videos, surf the web, play games with other people. I don't think i can live without it : ) -

I have the black ones that are a bit shorter....since i'm a bit shorter : ) . I've had it for about 1 and a half years and it's still holding up. I bought it mainly because of the brutal winters at school, and most of my other boots, although very warm, still gets water inside a lot of the times. These boots really keep the water out. The sole of these shoes are very very comfortable and i can walk forever with them. The downside is that the boots are quite heavy, even for the shorter ones i got. Another thing is, although it keeps the water out, it's still plastic and doesn't keep your feet as toasty as lined boots. I usually just wear two pairs of socks and I'm good to go.
Another thing that's important is that, when i took mine out again this year, my boots had all these white/greyish stains on it and won't even go away with soap. I did a little research and found out that since these are natural material, they 'bloom' to protect themselves from nature's harm. To get rid of it, you need to get this special UV spray from hunting/fishing stores. I'm not sure what it's called at the top of my head but if you do a little research, you'll find it. Another cheaper trick is to use a cloth and olive oat to rub and work it over the whole boot. It doesn't last as long as the UV spray but it does the trick really quickly.
Overall, the price is a little steep for rubber boots but i don't regret buying it. I use it mostly when it's slushy and gross outside. It's also back, fashion wise, and you can pair it with leggings or what not.

I got a PR sample through ChickAdvisor in Madison Mauve and it's the perfect fun fall colour. The colour is a deep plum with a hint of sparkles. I do wear it too often because it can be intense for the day, but when i do wear it, it does give me that oomph. I love how this doesn't dry out my lips. Working with darker colours, it's important that it doesn't dry my lips because the flakes really show and it's really hard to reapply properly. The staying power is pretty good. You do need to reapply after you eat/drink but it does leave a stain that still looks good without reapply.
The great thing about this line is that the price is affordable so i can go out there and try out colours that i don't normally wear. The formula is hydrating and the colour payoff is great. I'm planning to get some more colours and try it out myself.
