I got to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by this stuff! I wear makeup everyday so my eye area tends to get dry and sometimes irritated. I've tried so many eye creams.... drugstore...high end...even La Mer! With me, eye cream usually does the job for the first few days, then i get break outs around my eyes or it ends up irritating my eye area so much that its drier than it was before. So for a while, i avoided eye creams and just hoped for the best. Garnier was nice enough to send some products over and since I saw many rave reviews on this product on CA...i decided to try it! I use it right after i tone and moisturize and my skin is still a little damp. I put on quite a bit of products... enough to cover my eyelids and undereye area. I don't tap it in or massage it... i just let it sit and absorb. I do this twice a day. I got to say, my eye areas' been nice and moisturized and it doesn't irritate me! I actually really enjoy using the roller!
I didn't see any changes with lines or my undereye circles... but it's ok, i didn't think i could get rid of it. I'm just happy that it keeps my eye area nice and moisturized. I do also think that sometimes... when i put a bit more...i get clog pores/ a pimple or two. But it's not often and for all i know, it's my concealer? I think it's even better that the price is not too steep. I've been using this for a while and i can still see that there's a lot left! I will definitely be repurchasing.

As Cathy mentioned, the first time I used this was a tutorial I did on Cathy for the beauty school series. We all loved it. Im not that big of a gel blush girl, i usually opt for powders, but the summer got so humid that powder looked sort of cakey on. This was sold out everywhere in Toronto, but when i passed by the duty free in London during a trip, I got lucky and found one!
I love how easy this blends. It has a sort of silicone-ish feel to it but even lighter. The colour is quite intense so you only need a very little amount. It mimics the way you would naturally blush. It lasts all day, doesn't melt of and it's just so pretty. I'd suggest to definitely get your hands on this if you can!

When this first came out, I was quite intrigued with the idea of a 'marker' that's a lipstain. I also hate reapplying lipsticks so lipstain sounded like a good idea. So i finally bought one to try. The precise tip makes it easy to fill my pout neatly. It didn't taste weird, lasted a long while and had great colour payoff, which is great. I think this would be perfect for summer or even layering under lipstick to make sure you always have a bit of colour. I am definitely looking forward to try more. The only downside is that i find a lot of the colours are really similar, I would appreciate some lighter colours. -

When this arrived at the office and we all tried out different perfumes, I wanted to love this so bad. The bottle was so cute and fancy and it just sounded so good. From the bottle, it does smell very sweet and florally, which i don't mind...I actually quite liked it. It was a unique kind of scent I haven't smelled before. So I decided to spray it on to see how it'll smell on me or how it'll stick. I went through the whole day thinking that I smelled great and all, I couldn't really tell if it smelled good on me...until someone told me that it smelled weird and that they can tell whenever I'm around. So needless to say, I haven't put it on again. But hey, It might work with you. -

This is a great liquid foundation. A couple years back, I finally bought in to the luminous silk craze. I'm really picky when it comes to foundations, since my skin is super sensitive. I was happy to see that this is oil free. the foundation was silky, and went on really well. The coverage is decent, but if you have pretty good skin already, it really gives you that nice skin and dewy glow. I set the foundation with a light dusting of translucent powder and it last pretty long. I don't quite remember why i stopped using this, but I think I started using Armani hydraglow foundation, which was discontinued. But i just came across this review and am thinking about repurchasing it again. -

I used this brush on the Beauty on a budget tutorial. To me, brushes are so important to any makeup application. So when I was doing the make-over, I was a little nervous since I've not used these brushes before and I was concerned about the quality and function of these brushes. When I started using the brushes, I thought they were quite lovely and comparable to some of my higher end brushes. Firstly, the bristles were all soft and doesn't prickle the skin. It includes 3 eye brush, a fluffy face brush, an eyebrow groomer and a case to carry it all. They all performed quite well, the only downside is that the kit is missing a nice dome shaped blending brush. Overall, this is a great budget brush set and especially great for those on a budget or just starting to explore make up. -

I got a tub of this backstage during fashion week. They said that this was their secret weapon. I was excited to try. I've always used and primer and I think that they make such a huge difference. When you first open it, the pink cream like texture sort of scared me. I didn't really know how to apply it. So i just got some on my finger tips and applied it like regular moisturizer. Let it settle and then applied my makeup. I also used this primer on several of the beauty tutorials here. I find that if you have great moisturized skin, this spreads like a dream and fills in pores nicely, creating a nice canvas. But if you have dry patches, the primer sort of accentuates it. It's a little tough to spread, but using your fingers to warm it up or slighting dab with a sponge works fine. The primer does make a nice base, brightens a little bit and makes foundation application a bit easier and smoother. It does contain silicone, so gals who are sensitive, beware. I'm used to buying primers that are around $40 so this is comparable. -

I came here once for a meeting and once for fun friday and I enjoyed it alot. The main reason we came here was the great patio they had. The service was quite good and quick. Their menu is sort of everywhere, pad thai, lamb burger, candied pear salad etc. but they all sound pretty interesting. The food was decent, the pad thai tasted ok I think I will totally come here to take advantage of the nice patio. -

I came here a while back and I had a pretty good experience. When i first got there, the vibe and ambiance was quite nice and modern. The service was decent but like Ali said, the food/service was quite slow. The entrees are in smaller portions so getting an appetizer is a good idea. The food looked and tasted amazing. I had a salad beets, tofu, soy, greens and soy sauce dressing. I normally hate tofu and refuse to eat it, but I enjoyed the salad a lot (It's means a lot since I can't stand tofu). The main dish and dessert was very rich and satisfying. You get really great food for a really decent price and I'd definitely come here again. The main downside is that the restaurant was really crowded and I felt like I had to talk really loud. Perhaps next time, I'll go for the patio. -

I've always heard great things about this restaurant and was thrilled to finally go. I didn't realize it was so close to my house! Anyways, the food, like the other reviewer said, really lived up to its reputation. Great taste, portion, choice and great depth in flavour. I also really enjoyed the desserts and the foie gras appetizer was to die for! The ambiance and atmosphere is really nice and the service was great too. -
