I received this product from Stila to review and I quite enjoy it. Sometimes I find that cream blushes are either not creamy enough or too creamy/slippery, but Stila Convertible Color is just right. I use my ring fingers and swirl the product, it warms up nicely so you can blend really easily. The color is a bit sheer to start off with but you can definitely build it up. I like this a lot for the colder weather when my skin is kind of dull. It gives back a youthful glow and just a nice touch of color. I also love how you can use it on your lips, sort of having you face and lips in the same color family. On the down side, I do have a little bit of scars on my cheeks that i cover with concealer and powder, i find that if i rub, rather than pat, it does take my concealer off which is not pretty. But if i pat, it works really well. If you're looking for a cream blush or just a blush for drying skin, this is a great option -

I received this product to review from Mary Kay. The bottle itself is really nice to look at : ) It's easy to hold too. The brush is almost like a long eye shape with the fattest part in the middle. I find that I really like using this on my upper lashes. It doesn't clump and gives me nice length. It voluminizes my lashes a little bit but not too much. It does a decent job for my bottom lashes. It doesn't irritate my eyes. It also washes off nicely with makeup remover, which is huge for me since i hate tugging on my eyelashes. Overall, if you are looking for length, this is a good option. -

I used to only use the bigger ones (not the huge ones) and since my hair is long and straight, it keeps slipping and doesn't hold my hair as well. When i'm lazy, i clip my bangs up to the side (think lauren conrad) and used to use bobby pins for that. Although it stay put, sometimes I creates weird bumps with hair sticking out and i didn't like that. I saw these mini Claw clips at ChickAdvisor and decided to give it a try. I was a bit skeptic as first thinking if the bigger ones didn't hold my hair up, how these tiny ones can. Well to my surprise these worked magic. It holds it in place so well without tugging on my scalp or slipping out of my hair. I even twisted bigger bunch and gathered it in a bun and it stayed all day without having to adjust it. You get 12, which is great. I haven't broken any yet (knock on wood...) so they're pretty sturdy. Overall, these are quite handy! -

These eyeshadow palettes are such a steal for what you get. Instead of getting a palette with four eyeshadow already in it, you get a compact case with a huge mirror (woot!), and 4 individual eyeshadow that includes a tiny applicator and mirror. To use these palettes, you simply press under the eyeshadow pan and it pops out with the name still attached, you then just pop it onto the bigger palette. The eyeshadow is quite a bit bigger than standard eyeshadows.
The neutral palette includes Angie, Brown Sugar, Indian Girl, Brown Eyed Girl. The colour is really flattering for almost all skin tones. I can use each colour on its own for a nice wash, and use them all to create a more complex look. The pigmentation is quite good and it goes on really smooth. I find these shadows a bit looser/softer than some other eye shadows, so you do have to be careful of the fall outs. But i usually apply loose powder under my eyes and also apply a base, so that's not a problem for me. I am quite please with the colour and the looks you can create from this palette.
On the down side, i feel that all the colours are quite shimmery and it would of been nice to include a matte colour, or one that is less shimmery. I also find Indian Girl, Brown Eyed Girl to be quite similar when blended with the same look, i kind of wished it was a really dark black so i really intensify the look. Overall, I definitely recommend this product, it's quite versatile and great for the price!

This is my go-to base. I use it basically everyday unless i'm going of a different color look or a super dark look. I apply it on my eyelids with my finger. It helps warm up the product a little bit and spread really easily. You need very little of this in order to create a base. This is more of a matte base and creates a nice canvas, especially for matte shadows. I find that the color of my eyeshadow is intensified. It lasts me all day and doesn't crease on my. On the tiny downside, i find that sometimes it breaks my eyelid out a little. I'm talking about a tiny whitehead once in a long while - so it doesn't bug me. Overall, this is a definitely must for me! -

I cannot express how much i love this eyeliner. It's my go to eyeliner and i use it everyday. I originally used MAC Blacktrack regularly and bought the chromaline as more of a black base ( I was using paintpot in blackground and it was more gunmetal than true black, this is true black). Anyways, I started using very tiny bit of this as base and it worked well. But i decided to one day use it as eyeliner and was in love. The consistency is almost exactly the same. It applies really smooth and is extremely black and opaque. I was daring and started using it on my lower waterline. Not only did it not irritate my eyes, it also lasted all day. Now i use it everyday on my waterline and as eyeliner. This formula, i find, takes a little longer to dry, but it's not a problem. It stays on my eyes even when my eyes are really watery and teary. It's a lot bigger than the blacktrack and last me longer. I'd definitely give this a try if you swing by a pro store : ) -

Like many others, i was pleasantly surprised when I tried this quad. I received it in "Irresistible Ivy", Which includes a creamy highlight colour, Gold, Turquoise and a copper colour. I always use a base and the colour payoff with these are pretty amazing. I saw that some reviewers thought it didn't last as long. But i find that when i just patted the shadow on rather than sweeping it across, it creates a nice vibrant colour and stays. I wear it to the office and it lasts me all day! I love how the colour works together, (besides the Turquoise), and the formula is rather creamy. I am able to effortlessly blend the shadows from one to the other. I especially like the highlight and the copper colour. I'm not really sure what to do with the Turquoise colour since it didn't really go as well with the rest of the palette, but on its own or paired with other colours, it looks great. The packaging is not that great, sort of flimsy, but i don't mind since I don't need to carry it around. Overall, i think you should definitely give these a try. -

I got this powder as part of a kit almost a year ago and i still have a lot left. I originally used this alongside with the MUFE HD foundation and it definitely gives the skin that pore-less, flawless look. I had heard a seminar on HD products and they said that MUFE HD line creates particles that are spheres rather than having hard edges, this way, the edges don't reflect unflattering light. Instead, it gives a flawless smooth finish. When i used this alongside with HD Foundation at a shoot, it looked really great on camera. I don't use liquid foundation a lot so i found a new purpose for this product. I usually apply concealer on my eyes first and apply a little bit of this to set it and it works wonders. The powder is so silky when you touch it and it translate to your skin when you use it. Overall, definitely a great powder, especially if you're using liquid foundations. -

This kit is great for the price. You get 2 basic blush, highlight, contour and two skin tone color that can act as a highlight or powder depending on your skin tone. Each pan is extremely large or a palette and is very pigmented. Like the review above said, just lightly tap it to build it up. The blush tone is very universally flattering. I don't usually use this on myself, but i use it when i do other people's make up. I've used it for photo shoots before and it looked good on photos. I also like to use the pink beige color on my inner under-eye to brighten it up and it works magic. I would totally recommend this you're on a budget and is looking to get a blush Contour palette. -

I received a PR sample from ChickAdvisor. I've always been an eyeshadow primer kind of person, so i'm always opened to new primers. I've seen lemon aid around for quite a while now but never really tried it. When i received it, i was excited to try it. The texture seems more 'oily' and slippery than my usual mac paint pot. It's very yellow in the pot but turns more nude/skin tone after you rub it on. Although i usually have eyeshadow on and don't need to cancel my redness, it do notice that my lids is less red and doesn't have that blue-ish tone to it. So that's a plus. It spreads really easily and i find that the best is too use only a tiny bit or else it'll slide and crease. In terms of stay power/eye primer. It works pretty average. It keeps the shadow in place, and slightly intensify the color of the eyeshadow. Overall, if you're looking to test out a primer, this is a good choice, but keep in mind that there are a lot of other options out there so you really have to see what you're looking for. In terms of cancelling redness and neutralizing the eyelid area, this is a good choice. -
