I got my hands on a I Love My Muff care package through a generous offering from Chick Advisor. I laughed as Ali handed me the package and I immediately asked for a second bag so I wasn't spotted walking down the streets of Toronto with 'I LOVE MY MUFF' displayed for the world to see. Not that I mind....but....well....I guess I do!
I really like this product! It's refreshing, smoothing and makes a woman feel that much more confident with herself. It didn't irritate my skin and it smells great. I managed to get the lavender scent, which as Ali mentioned, I'd use as a regular lotion or perfume. There's not much more to say without getting a tad bit graphic so I'll just leave it at: Yes. Buy this product!
Oh, and it was a fun experience when my Moms boyfriend asked to borrow some hair product and as I'm rummaging through my drawer of product in front of him, those three little bottles labeled 'I Love My Muff' were staring him straight in the face. Awkward.

I had the ever-so-fortunate opportunity to attend the opening night of this restaurant last year with a friend of mine. As MissChickie mentioned - the cocktails are to die for! The ingredients are so incredibly unique and exotic, unlike anything I've ever seen before. For example, chili flakes in a martini (actually incredibly delicious!), sage, lavender - these are just to name a few.
The atmosphere is great for afterwork drinks, meeting up with friends for a pre-drink before clubbing, or post-drinks after a late night dinner. It isn't a large restaurant, and it isn't crowded either. For what this restaurant/lounge offers, it's the perfect size.
Go, go, go!

One of many Costes Brothers restaurants in the city, Café Marly is by far one of my favourites. I have been there for both lunch and dinner - and so far, lunch has been my meal of choice for a couple reasons. First, you get to eat during daylight hours which gives you the opportunity to sit in the sun and enjoy views of the Louvre as you eat (you're literally eating in the louvre at this café). Secondly, the prices won't be as expensive at lunch. Your bill will still be higher than standard, but when considering everything you get to experience when dining here - it's worth it.
For example - as mentioned before, you get full on, obstruction free views, of the famous Louvre pyramid, fountain and surrounding palace. You are actually sitting on the terrace of the Louvre palace - who knows what historic people have dinned, chatted about the beheading of Marie Antoinette or squinted in the afternoon sun in that same spot. On the way to the bathroom and inside the dining room, there are windows offering a free (well, 'free' - you are paying for dinner) view of sculptures that are inside the museum. Even after the museum has closed down, you can still get a very surreal peak at what's inside when nobody else is crowding the halls.
The food - amazing! The mashed potatoes - to die for! Seriously. If you go to Paris and are going to splurge on one lunch, this is it.

The Michel Perry store in Paris at 243 Rue St Honoré, is a haven! The decor, floral print victorian chairs, rustic cement walls mixed with bright pink/red walls and hardwood floors - it could be your dream apartment (complete with shoes!). Among the obvious reasons why I like this store (it's filled with some of the best shoes a girl could buy), I have to make note of the superb service offered at this particular location. You feel at ease to try on as many shoes as you'd like, relax and have a coffee, chat with the owners - it's like being with friends and trying on shoes - what could be better?
The shoes at Michel Perry are quite possibly the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. Seriously - and we are talking 5 inch heels, not flats. The use of platforms in the toe area makes these staggering heights easy to walk in and, of course, comfortable. The prices - steep. The quality - worth it.
If you find yourself in Paris and you're looking to splurge on a really good pair of shoes, you MUST stop by this store.

I bought the starter kit - mainly because I had run out of sponges for my liquid foundation. But also out of curiosity. I've tried mineral eye shadows before and have been thoroughly impressed by the vibrancy of the color and how little you actually needed. And so - the next step: foundation
I love the way the mineral foundation covers and leaves no trace of make-up on your face - especially considering you put 3 different layers on your face (base, foundation and bronzer). It's so light and actually helps prevent break-outs because your skin is allowed to breathe.
My only 'beef' is that it doesn't really take care of shine. Especially when you use the liquid skin 'prep' - it only seems to add to the sheen of your skin - which not everyone enjoys. I would suggest using a matte face lotion before using the I.D. Bare Minerals foundation if you have oily skin.

Definitely love this product. As I'm the kind of person who takes a mere 20 minutes out of my life to wipe surfaces, these wipes are perfect! What I noticed most was the longevity - it doesn't dry out as quickly as similar products do - one wipe is all you need.
Works great for all surfaces too. I didn't notice any white residue or streak marks on my television or glass. I tried using it for my walls and it worked okay - not as good as the Mr Clean Eraser.
Great deal and you won't feel the need to hide it under your sink.

I thought this product was impeccable! (great marketing Maybelline) The colors work great for any skin-tone and the colors can stand on their own. Some days I just use the lid and brow colors, and to add a dramatic night time look I incorporate the crease.
As mentioned, there is a bit of shimmer in the lid color, but I didn't think it was too dramatic for day wear. It all depends on your outfit and attitude. This trio actually does the opposite of what you think it would do - it actually brightens your eyes rather than dulling them out. Of course, the more dark grey you use, the more moody the look becomes.
Try it for yourself.

I've used every type of eye-liner out there: pencil, liquid, gel and of course - well, what would you call this type? - lipstick style eyeliner? You get what I mean. A pencil eyeliner without the wood or the sharpening.
Lately all I've been using is this eyeliner. I love the fact that you don't have to worry about having a sharpener handy all the time and there's no risk of accidentally scratching your cornea with that bit of wood you didn't see sticking out the end (tell me I'm not the only one). It always goes on smoothly and is perfect for achieving a smokey eye since it comes with a sponge built in. It lasts all day, although I do notice the depth of the black fades a bit throughout the day.
If you're somebody who likes to get really thin lines with their eyeliner, this product isn't the best for that since you can't sharpen it to a perfect point like you can with a pencil liner.
People who will want this product are people who are in a rush to do their makeup, don't like carrying around extra accessories, like thicker lines and easy blending capabilities.

Though I didn't notice the 'black patent shine' that this product claims to provide, I absolutely 100% got the stiletto effect. Each lash was perfectly separated from the rest and my lashes looked really long (although, my eyelashes are long to begin with, so that effect wasn't hard to come by).
I don't particularly like this type of look for my lashes unless I'm going for the 'au natural' look and all I'm planning on wearing that day is mascara (and clothes!). Since l already have the length, I tend to go for products that provide more 'volume' or thickness to my lashes. If you're one of the few very lucky woman that has a great set of thick lashes, I think that this product would be perfect for you.

I got this bronzer inside a gift bag I received from Chick Advisor (woohoo!) and was a bit skeptical at first because it seemed like it may be a bit dark for my fair skin. Turns out, I was wrong.
The great thing about this product is that you can control how heavy or light you want it to go on your skin. It can go on sheer enough that you can use it on your entire face without making it look like your head was the only thing that went on vacation. I also like that it doesn't have an excessive shimmer.
Perfecto.
