It's funny how 4 letters can cost so much - D-I-O-R. Although I gave this product a decent amount of stars (with the exception of price) I just can't recommend it to anyone because it's just so darn expensive. I mean, really, who wants to shell out $30 for a mascara that does the same thing a $10 mascara can do? Mascara is mascara is mascara is mascara........and so on. It's all just black goop that goes on your eyes to make them irresistible. I say save your money and buy CoverGirl LashBlast instead. If you ask me, it does a far better job than DIOR - and if you're going to shell out the big bucks, go for Lancome HighDefinition mascara. -

I went here last summer with a couple friends and it was great. The unfortunate part was finding out that Ryan Gosling showed up minutes after I had left. There goes my chance at a Notebook-esque life.
The food was great, the white sangria was great, the waitress was....odd. She kind of just showed up to our table and stared at us, waiting for us to acknowledge her existence. And she didn't do that once, she did it every time she came to the table. I felt like I was being rude somehow, when really, I wasn't.
The atmosphere inside is perfect. It's fresh, comfortable and clean. Just be careful when you go down the stairs to get to the washroom. They're a bit steep
**Note** Food isn't 'French' per se but it was the closest description available. They serve alot of beef, chicken, fish, etc. French-esque.**

Your days of searching for a hairspray that holds for longer than it takes for you to get out the door have hopefully come to an end (talk about a run-on sentence). I know they have for me.
I had given up on most hairsprays until this past Christmas when I was staying at my brother/sister-in-laws condo while in Calgary. My sister-in-law Niki had the Got2B hairspray in her bathroom so I decided to snag it for my evening hair-do.
There was a tiny bit left in the can so I was careful not to use it all up - due diligence to make sure she wouldn't find out that I used it. The good news though is that you don't need alot. I can't remember the last time I styled my own hair and achieved the amount of volume I did that night. It doesn't leave your hair feeling wiry, dry or look stiff - which is always great. The smell isn't overwhelming so you don't end up choking to death on hairspray fumes inside your bathroom.
The price is well worth it considering the can will last you forever - unless you're a hairspray addict and keep it in your purse.

**Note** The price of $115 includes face cleanser, toner, moisturizer and exfoliating powder **
I recently purchased this product as a Christmas gift for my sister-in-law Niki. She has been using Pro-Activ Solution for as long as I've known her and mentioned that she wanted to try something all-natural for a change. I immediately headed for the L'Occitane store and mentioned to the sales rep that the gift was for someone who has been using Pro-Activ. They were incredibly helpful at the store and informed me that she was probably using the product for oily skin rather than trouble acne. She introduced me to their new line of red rice products and raved about it (same with the cashier and gift wrapper).
The price is pretty extravagant but the quality of the product is unbelievable. My sister-in-law used it immediately and told me how much she loved it. Her skin looked great! I tested out the facial moisturizer and it gave my skin a perfectly matte appearance - goodbye shine! And this is what this product is known for - how it mattes your skin, shrinks pores and purifies. The organic red rice and zinc is what helps limit the sebum production in your skin (sebum is what makes you shiny).
I can't wait to go purchase a set myself so I can enjoy the results of using the products together. If you love your skin, the price is worth it!

I was fortunate enough to receive a gift pack of the Burt's Bees Radiance line while at a Chick Advisor cocktail party - and I truly feel lucky! This line is amazing. The pack came with night/day creams, body lotion/wash, a body exfoliator and lip shimmer. Although I wasn't a fan of the lip shimmer, the Radiance body lotion is great!
What I think I love most about the lotion is that you don't need to use alot, it spreads nicely and soaks into your skin with little effort. It feels a little bit greasy at first but that feeling goes away with only a few rubs.
The shimmer that is embedded into the lotion isn't the kind of shimmer/sparkle you'd find on dance girls at nightclubs, but rather a more subtle shimmer that makes your skin radiate rather than blind people. The lotion also contains natural mica which helps enhance your own skin tone without the worry of staining your favourite outfit.
I recommend this product to everyone who is looking for a natural alternative to their regular everyday body lotion.

As we all know, artificially red hair is nearly impossible to maintain. It fades after the first wash, the sun makes it bland, using a flat-iron strips away the colour - if somebody or something so much as touches red hair it fades. And yet I still keep going back to the salon time and time again to adorn my head with red locks. (Shh - If anyone asks, it's natural)
I was lucky enough to receive this product from Chick Advisor and used it right away. What I should have done is taken pictures before and after but alas, I forgot. When I first used the shampoo I was slightly perplexed - only because the shampoo is actually red, and I mean blood red (don't worry though - it doesn't stain and once you start lathering it turns white). It had a great smell, lathered nicely and rinsed out as promised.
The conditioner comes out a light pinkish colour and also has a great smell - I'm obsessed with the smell of shampoo/conditioner but who isn't? It made my hair very manageable when combing it through my wet hair - I get a lot of tangles since my hair is curly so it's always nice when I find a conditioner that actually works with me instead of against.
At first, I definitely noticed a difference in my hair color. Even when it was still wet. It was nothing dramatic, which I don't think anybody would want or expect from a shampoo/conditioner. The change was subtle and merely enhanced the existing red that was in my hair. I definitely recommend this to anybody that has real or artificially red hair.
Another tip for those chemically enduced red heads out there - try showering with your water slightly cooler than normal and try not to rub the hair too much when you're towel drying.

The only reason I would not suggest this product is because of a couple minor reasons. The shimmer that is in the lip balm makes your lips look like their peeling - you know, that white gunk that gets on your lips when they're chapped and your lips are trying to salvage themselves. That combined with the minty scent/flavour just puts me off - it makes me feel like I've got toothpaste on my lips.
So, the first reason is cosmetic and the second is just personal preference. Neither of them big enough reasons to off-put me from the brand. Just the lip balm.

Perhaps it just wasn't the style of writing that I enjoy reading, but I found this book to be extremely slow and lacking any sort of writing style. I got about 1/3 of the way through this giant book before I inevitably gave up. I feel a good book shouldn't make you have to 'stick with it until it gets REALLY good'. It should grab you from the very beginning and make you excited just at the thought of being able to have time to read more.
This book left me caring for absolutely none of the characters, with the exception of maybe the Dad whom I felt was unfairly treated by his daughter - the main character. And if you ain't liking the way the main character is treating her dad, it's unlikely that you'll want to keep reading about how sorry she constantly feels for herself. Sure it's about a teenage girl and this is what they're like in real life - always lending a cold shoulder to their parents and always needing more space. But books aren't real life. Especially when they involve torrid love affairs with vampires.
All in all I felt the main character needed a lot more of a back story in order to evoke any true feelings that all readers should experience. I never really understood where she was coming from, why she and her father had such a distant relationship and just all around why she was so bitter. But hey, perhaps this is why it's such a hit with teenage girls - no one understands them and they understand why you shouldn't 'get' the main character of this book in the first place.
I don't mean any offense to anybody who loved this book. We each have our own tastes and I think I may have started reading this book with the wrong expectations. I encourage any teenage girl to read this book as it seems this world is lacking appropriate literature aimed towards that demographic.
