Like the premise of this line - safe & healthy ingredients, no animal testing. Product is advertised as being a gentle cleanser. Well, I found it did clean nicely. I like the way the foam is easy to spread a small amount around the face. However, it leaves my face feeling dry after. I do have dry to normal skin and I chose it because of the comment "replenishes skin’s moisture barrier". But bottle also says "cleanses oily skin", so perhaps not for me. -

Product has a very light, pleasant smell. Ineffective for me, had odour after a couple of hours. I'm not an especially active woman, 59 years old & do not sweat that much. My crystal stick works very well, will "stick" with it!

This product contains numerous fermented food ingredients which greatly appealed to me, knowing the health benefits of fermented food. It is probably an excellent product; however, I really dislike the flavour. I felt it must be the stevia - perhaps too much? But when I mentioned it to a health store employee, she said it was likely the fermented products in it. I do not know but I will not buy it again.
If you do not mind the taste, it does seem to be impressive product.

It seems to me they are not absorbable by the skin as I saw absolutely no difference. The first ingredient is water, not impressive in my opinion. I find the price is reasonable compared to higher end products and I would gladly pay more IF my skin showed any improvement. -

This product is good for all skin types as it has a normalizing effect. The toner comes in a 3.4 fl oz spray bottle. I like this because I can easily control how much I want to use. Generally I spray it on a cotton puff and wipe my face. It effectively removes any leftover cleanser residue. You can also simply spritz your face with the mist. A nice light fragrance, pleasant, not overpowering.
Dr. Haushka is a botanical line and contains none of those chemicals we do not want in our skin care products - like parabens, mineral oil etc. Another reason to recommend Dr. Haushka is that they do no animal testing, use ecological methods and purchase fair trade ingredients! They meet all my criteria for a great company with wonderful products!
