The serum contains cranberry extract and does smell like the fruit. Cranberries are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals such as Vitamins C, E, K, and manganese. Proanthocyanidins are the primary antioxidant in cranberries. The fruit also contains salicylic acid, which sloughs off dead skin cells and leaves the skin looking more radiant. These components are responsible for cranberry extract's antioxidant, barrier strengthening, wrinkle reducing, and skin-soothing properties. I noticed my skin felt smooth after applying this. The second most important ingredient is oat kernel flour. I absolutely love when skincare products use oats because of their soothing and anti-inflammatory effects. Oats contain beta-glucan, which helps repair damage and attracts water to the top layers of the skin. I have heard that beta-glucan is actually better at hydrating the skin than hyaluronic acid. -
