Once ripped pouch open and poured little crystals into a mug it first seemed so little. As per indication to put up to 8oz of water it taste amazing compared to the liquid syrup I have in my cabinet. The only thing is which is more effective? I believe putting 8oz of water still seem a little too sweet but if more water is added would probably ruin the effectiveness of the immunity booster. It's difficult to compare the effectiveness as for being natural usually takes longer to feel it. This drinkable option suites best for children with such amazing grape tasting juice. We have always been a sambucol customer and have 3 bottles of syrup in my cabinet and this was perfect timing as I was sick since Saturday (Friday today) and went straight home to find this sample which me want to purchase a pack of this and syrup combined. Our family used it last year and was quite effective for entire family even though I know I get sick once a year but it doesn't hit as hard once is start drinking this once fall/winter begins to prepare for the worst.
