The gel texture is easy to apply and leaves a smooth, matte finish on my skin. I've used it both as a base for makeup and on its own to reduce oil and shine, and it works well for both purposes.
I used it before heading to work recently, and a coworker actually complimented me on my skin. It's not often that someone notices a difference, so that was a pleasant surprise. The inclusion of adaptogens like Reishi Mushroom and Ashwagandha, along with pre-biotic peptides, gives me confidence that it's doing more than just providing a smooth base.
