I received a sample of unscented Undercarriage deodorant cream, and i found it very effective. You don't need much, just a pea-sized amount for each underarm. It does not leave a greasy mess, and dries nicely. I had no problems with odour, but this was a test in winter, so keep that in mind. It comes in several scents, such as coconut lime, lavender, vanilla, woodzee, gerouli and no b.s. with activated charcoal. This is a fun company that advertises their deodorant cream is for under the arms, breasts and nether regions below the belt! It is a bit pricey, though, at $24 a jar. -

I recently discovered knitting superstars Arne + Carlos, and was delighted to find that they have worked with Schachenmayr to create their own line of self-patterning wool sock yarn, which is called Regia. It is available in a range of colour schemes. I bought a lovely purple/turquoise/blue blend. It's so fun to work with, and you never get bored, as the patterns keep changing in the yarn every few rows. The socks I made have not been worn yet (they are a gift) but this is a 4-ply 75% wool/25% polyamide blend which should wear very well. I will definitely be buying this yarn again in other colour schemes. -

I received a sample of Crickstart protein bars, in cinnamon cardamom flavour. Eating crickets is a new concept for my family, and there are 40 crickets in every bar! Three of us decided to be brave and try it--it's a very earthy taste, and you can really taste the hemp in the bar (it's the first ingredient listed). Each bar is 270 calories and has 12 grams of protein, so this would be a great source of energy when on a hike, out camping, etc. I received it as a sample, so I cannot speak to the value. But overall, it's a good bar, just forget that you are eating crickets! -
