it is an ideal concept - especially if your job entails dealing with the public all day long, however on 2 occasions the patch wasn't large enough to cover my cold sore and I discovered it is painful to remove when applied in this situation as it will take some skin/scab with it. Other than feeling a bit awkward at first application, it is mostly comfortable to wear.    -
