This product can be used by everyone! It is a hair serum that helps de-frizz your hair, or soften your skin. I love this product because I think it works better than any other anti frizz serum I've found. It has a lovely smell, and you don't have to put a lot in your hair to get results. I use it when I straighten my hair and when i leave it curly to control frizz, and to give my hair a soft, silky smooth look and feel to it. You can use it as often as you'd like, keeping in mind to only used a dime sized amount, to avoid greasy looking hair. This is still a serum, and if you use too much your hair will end up looking greasy, and you wont end up with the look your going for. I have used this product many times, and would highly recommend that anyone looking to help control frizz try's it. Usually you can only buy the larger bottle, which comes with a smaller "travel" sized bottle. It should only cost you around $20, and is available at most salons. -

Ah the hair straightener, a wonderful tool which can straighten, curl- believe it or not!- and crimp your hair, all with the flick of the wrist. I have had my Paul Brown straightener since 2005, and it works just as well, if not better today as it did the first day I had it. Over the years I've had plenty of time to perfect my straightening skills, I have naturally curly hair, and it's really hard to manage-unless its straight. The Paul brown straightener is a 1" ceramic, and will heat up to 450 degrees. It transforms your hair almost instantly, from the tightest curl to the straightest and smoothest of hair. I have used it when my hair is damp, although I don't recommend doing that, as I found it dried out my hair too much. I've used it to curl, and put waves in my hair. The price varies depending on where you go. You should be able to get it at most hair salons, and it's about $120-$190. For the price, it does an amazing job, and I would recommend it to any one who asked my opinion. Your straightener should come with a warranty as well, which is always a bonus. Give it a try, I'm sure you will love your's as much as I love mine. -

Mac makeup is one of the best makeup lines I've ever used. There are many different products available, like eyeshadow, foundation, bronzer, mineral finishes, eye liner, lipstick ect. I have been using mac for about 6 years now, and I will never go back to a drugstore brand.
Basically I can only tell you about the products that I've used, and although I have quite a bit of mac I'm going to try to keep it short. I use Mac Studio Fix fluid foundation--I find that it lets my skin breathe, I dont break out like I did with most drugstore brands, and it is a perfect match to my skin color. ( If you go into a mac store, they will help you pick out the right foundation for your skin tone) It also has sunscreen in it as well. Another product I use is Mineralize Skinfinish in light flush. Its the perfect touch to finish your look and puts a light shimmer on your cheeks. Used with an angle brush from Mac you get perfect application, and it looks awesome every time you use it. There are also cremes to help counteract rosacea, which is a reddening of the skin, and another for "bags" under your eyes.
There are hundreds of different colors and finishes of eyeshadows. One of my favorite things from Mac is their Customizeable pallet. I have one large one, which holds 17 different little mac pods, and a seperate one that holds 4. I love this because its easy to mix and match what colors you have, and its a great way to bring your mac on the go! They're magnetized so you can pop them in and out whenever you want. There are many different finishes, i tend to lean more towards the frost finishes, because I like the shimmer, but they also have veluxe pearl, which will give you more of a "flat" color. You can mix and match which ever colors you want, and create your own style. Mac makeup is pigmented, so your color is going to stay on alot longer than those drug store brands. If you find that the makeup isnt as "bright" you can purchase something called a paint pot--creamy eyeshadow--I had a very light one, that I would put on before I used my eyeshadow and it brightened up the color and the eyeshadow lasted alot longer than it normally would. It becomes virtually smudge proof.
Mac has many different eyeliners as well. Liquid, pencil, and a few others. I have a few different colored liners, which I used with eyeshadow or without. The color is bright, and it doesn't smudge. You can get solid colors, or you can get sparkly eyeliners as well, for "special occasions" when mac puts out "kits" They can range from things like a five pack of eyeliners to a 5 piece brush set.
For mascara, Plush Lash is the way to go. It doesn't go on clumpy, its waterproof, it elongates your lashes and doubles the volume to make it look like you have beautiful, long, full lashes.
There are other types of mascara as well, to lenghten, waterproof, or volumize, to name a few.
Mac has a program called Back To Mac--Dont throw out your empty containers!--For every 6 empty containers you bring back to mac-ie eyeshadow, lipstic, mascara, foundation, bronzer, mineral powder, to name a few-you get a free tube of lipstick! What a great way to help the enviroment! Mac recycles the materials from these containers to produce new ones!
The price varies, anywhere from $4.cad. to over $100. I have spent hundreds of dollars there over the last 6 years and I dont regret it one bit. The quality of the makeup far outweighs the "bargain" price for drugstore brand. I dont mind paying a little bit extra to get the best product. You will notice a difference in the way you feel, not only because your using makeup that isn't going to make you break out in pimples, no more worries about those horrible black tracks down your face if you've been crying.
I could sit here for hours and just talk to you about mac--i love it that much--but I'm going to start to sum things up here. For me, Mac is worth every penny. It is an amazing set of products to use and I highly reccomend going into a store. Even if I haven't convinced you, they'll do your makeup for free and you can decide for yourself how you like it. Hopefully my review was helpful, and some of you check it out.
