Usually when I go to a salon I end up leaving with a style that is nothing like what I pictured, usually because my stylist talked me out of what I wanted. But this time I didn't. It came out just the way I wanted it. The highlights were the perfect color, she toned it and got the brassiness out at no extra cost.
Best hairstyle I have had in my life, and the the cut was flattering.
The best part? it only cost me 80 dollars.
WIN.

I have eaten at Chinched numerous times. It is not the cheapest place to eat, but the overall experience is more than worth the price that you pay. The two owners are quite young, and very very friendly. They offer a good deal on some appetizers and beer before the Ice Caps Hockey Games, and often offer a Price per person for a 3 or 5 course meal on special occasions with the option of a wine pairing for quite a good price.
One of the owners is also a very talented pastry chef, and makes a great dessert, for someone who has a sweet tooth like me.
Not only was the service excellent and the atmosphere more than desirable - but the FOOD.
It is easily the best food I have had in St. John's so far. (Or maybe I don't know any better after their fantastic Blueberry Margaritas.) But I think I do.
-I would recommend as an appetizer the charcuterie which was superb.
- As an Entree we had the Pork Belly, Beef Cheek, Cod Fritters. Which were absolutely amazing.
- And for dessert! A baileys coffee with Ginger Creme Brulee.
The prices were fair, and the servers were helpful and gave great suggestions. Enjoy! The hidden gem of Queen Street!
