After seeing many positive reviews on makeupalley.com about this Palladio's Rice Setting Powder (in Natural) I decided to grab this at Sally's and try it out
(Sally Beauty Supply - $4.99)
I've used this about 5 times so far and in very humid New England Summer weather. I have to say, that this product really holds up when it comes to the heat. I'm actually really surprised how well my makeup stayed on my face while I had sweat beads running down my face from carrying my 23lb son all over the place in 95 degree weather!
It comes with a little powder puff but I really dont use it. I prefer a blush brush or a soft kabuki.
Application is basic, I pretty much apply it as if it was any other powder makeup and let it do its job.
This can get a little messy if you arent used to powder products though.
For the price that it is ($4.99) I really dont think you could go wrong with this stuff. I give it a 3 out of 5.
I would repurchase.
PROS -
Keeps makeup in place
Has a nice smell to it
Affordable
Cute packaging
CONS -
A little messy
Wears off after a few hours
I still recommend trying it out if youre interested! A good buy for the price!

(Physicians Formula Pearls of Perfection - Around $12.00 at drugstores)
This product was mentioned in my Everyday Essentials Makeup and I figured I would do a review on it since a lot of people are skeptical about bronzers.
I almost never tan, unless I'm able to actually get out in the Summer -I'm a busy girl with two jobs and my son attached to my hip! So I find it the easiest to either; A: Use self tanner, or B: Use bronzer.
If I'm in a rush I'll usually go the bronzer route and Physicians Formula is my go-to product. I look like I've just came back from the Bahamas with these amazing Pearls of Perfection.
This is the only bronzer I've ever liked -and trust me, I've tried a TON of different brands.
I love the sunkissed look and I honestly can say this will give you that.
Pros-
Dark bronze look
Great quality
Good packaging
Somewhat affordable drugstore item
Will last a long time
Cons-
Can get a little messy if youre using a kabuki (the bronzing balls might get stuck)
Somewhat affordable drugstore item
Can be applied too thick if you're not a little patient

I've seen lots of gurus and bloggers mention Eyeko before but never paid too much attention because I'm mostly interested in hair and makeup but recently I was curious to try their nail polish out.
This nail polish lasted about 1 week with only minor chipping. The bottle is true to color and I only needed two coats. My favorite color was the Lilac shade. Eyeko means LOVE in Japanese and the packaging is very sweet and girly.
I really like this nail polish and hope to do a more detailed review once I purchase some more polish.

I purchased this on a whim while I was going through the aisles at my local drugstore.
The packaging was so-so (Im not too fond of the colors), and I really havent done my research on this stuff but I decided to try it anyway.
It's FX Surf Head.
When you open the container, it looks very creamy and smooth, but as soon as I touched this stuff it was EXTREMELY greasy and disgusting.
I was hoping it would be somewhat similar to Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly but I was completely wrong.
Although I didnt like it as soon as I touched it, I tried it anyway to see how it felt ON my hair and it was STILL greasy. My hair felt gross.
I regret paying the $5.99 for this at the time, but I returned it the same day and got my money back.

I've been trying out this curling iron recently and have to admit that I've really fallen in love with it.
I never really use curling irons because my hair is naturally wavy and it doesnt take much for it to get tangled and frizzy but this iron does just the opposite. It creates beautiful, soft, silky curls that last all day.
I went with the 1 1/2" barrel and am so happy I did. I remember buying a 1 inch iron a few years ago and only used it once or twice. I threw it in my closet about a week later. It made curls that were a little too "formal" for me. I looked as if I was going to the high school prom.
I didn't have that problem with this though. I had big soft sexy curls and it didnt take much effort even with my thick hair (I used the highest heat setting). I also used Aussie's Mega Flexible Hair Spray to hold my curls in even more and was glad I did because its been pretty humid over here.
