I've tried Garnier moisturizers before so I knew what kind of quality to expect. I wasn't disappointed! The product had a nice consistently and the scent didn't bother me. I think I'd have to use it longer to see whether it really "brightens and smooths", but otherwise I think it works well! I love that it has SPF, since that's a must for any daytime moisturizer I buy. I'd definitely consider buying this when I run out. Thanks for letting me try this, ChickAdvisor! -

I was so excited to have the opportunity to review Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Water as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. I've heard a ton about micellar waters, and this was my first experience with it. I have to say that I didn't love the product like I thought I would. I used it daily at night for a week to remove my makeup and cleanse my face. It didn't remove eye makeup well at all - I had to go back and use a cleansing cloth afterwards to remove all the mascara that the micellar water missed. For that reason alone, I wouldn't swap this product into my routine - too inconvenient needing to remove my makeup with another product, and then use this to cleanse my skin. Other than that though, it didn't irritate my sensitive skin and I didn't have a problem with the scent. Unfortunately, the price is too high for something that didn't work for me. :( -

I love anything with blueberries, but I didn't find the taste strong enough. I'm not sure if this bar is supposed to be a healthier bar or not - nuts and fruit are on the healthier side, but then the layer of chocolate on the bottom doesn't make it a great snack choice. I really prefer the Brookside fruit and chocolate clusters a lot better. -

I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of fruit & nut bars, but the cherry with pomegranate fruit & nut bar tasted surprisingly good. It's a unique fruit combination that I haven't seen in other bars before, so I liked that. The calories are a bit high for a bar (180 cal), so I'm not sure I'd eat this on a regular basis unless I skipped a meal. Also, it seems inconvenient to buy these bars individually, although I suppose the price for a box of 6 would be over ten dollars! -

I love the Brookside clusters made with fruit and chocolate and was really excited to try this. In my opinion, this wasn't as good as the clusters although the nuts probably provide a bit more nutritional value. The bar is 180 calories, which is on the high end of what I typically look for in a bar. It tasted good - a bit tart from the cranberry. It's similar to a Clif fruit and nut bar dipped in chocolate that I've bought before. For the price, I'm not sure I would buy this again. Also seems inconvenient to have to buy them individually. -

I've used several different brands of dry shampoo, and Bastiste works really well compared to other ones I've tried. I have very dark coloured hair, so my only complaint is that dry shampoos tend to be white, and it takes a bit of time to work the product through my roots so that the white powder disappears. I don't like heavily scented products, but the original Batiste has a nice light and clean scent. I'm really happy that I can buy it at my local Shoppers Drug Mart, too! -

I've been going to this salon for 2 years and I'm always happy with my cut. I've finally found a place that understands what I want! The prices are very reasonable, and every cut includes shampooing and a head massage. They use Aveda and Nexus products (among others), but definitely aren't pushy about selling you products (unlike other places I've been to). They have tiered pricing, depending on what level of stylist you book with. -
Tastes great and was my favourite spread when I was a kid, but I'll be steering clear of it due to its high sugar content (#1 ingredient?!). I'm looking for more healthful options.

Have used Lysol wipes for years and love them! They're so handy to have, especially when I don't have paper towel and a spray cleaner around, or travelling, etc. They always leave surfaces clean and smelling great!

I'm going against the grain with a negative review for Tide Pods! I heard from a laundry detergent brand manager (they all use the same clear coating on these types of "pods") that they aren't recommended for cold water use. In fact, my friend used it in cold water, the plastick-y coating didn't dissolve fully, and she unknowingly put the entire load of laundry in the dryer, which baked the gooey mess into her clothes - she had to throw the entire load of laundry out.
After hearing that, I only use these pods in hot water (which is unnecessary for lightly dirty clothes, and makes fabric deteriorate faster), and won't be repurchasing. Furthermore, you can't use less than one pod if you desire, and manufacturers typically overstate how much detergent is needed for one load so that you go through detergent faster (I used to work with the manufacturers). Finally, the scent was too strong for me.
