I've used this product for several weeks, and have started to see a slight fading of my dark spots (just starting to notice it, so I'm hoping that the effect continues with use). The biggest benefit I've noticed is that my overall skin tone is more even and bright. I used to wear at least a medium coverage foundation every day, because I have dark spots, redness, and uneven skin tone. I use much less foundation now, and only in certain areas as opposed to all over my face. -

The packaging definitely looks nicer than what's typical from the drugstore, but you're also paying a bit more. -

I've tried other items from the Josie Maran line and liked them all, so I had pretty high expectations for this mascara. I like that the mascara doesn't have the harmful chemicals that other brands contain. It took a week or two for the mascara to dry out slightly and reach the consistency that I prefer. The brush has a unique shape - the bristles almost appear to be spiralled around the wand, and one "side" is fuller than the other. I really liked the formula - dark and black, with a good thickness that will hold the curl of the lash. I always use a lash curler though, so I'm not sure how well this mascara does in curling on its own.
The main downside is the price - more than double the price of a regular drugstore mascara.
If you're looking to splurge on a mascara and want to try something higher-end, this is a good option!
