I tried the root retoucher in black, to cover up some greys that I'm getting along my temple. It took a few tries to get the hang of the proper application (how close to hold it to my roots, how much product to use, etc.), and I thought it worked pretty well. I initially couldn't find the application directions, but it's on the underside of the label on the can. I do wish that the colour lasted a bit longer than one shampoo. I shampoo every other day and had to reapply this a few times a week. Still, this is a cheaper and easier alternative than going to a salon or dying your hair at home, if you're only touching up a few areas. -

I used the top coat over two coats of the CND polish, and the results have been fantastic after 6 days. I really want my nail polish to last through all my regular activities, like doing dishes by hand, which I did while I was testing this. I noticed some minor chipping at the tips but it wasn't too noticeable. The best part is the shine - my nails still look as shiny as day 1. -

I've been testing the Field Fox colour for 6 days so far and love the results. The application was easy and smooth, and dried surprisingly quickly. I've had some minor chipping at the tips, but it's much less than when I've used cheaper drugstore nail polishes, so I'm happy with that. I also love this colour a lot more than I expected - it looks like a drab grey in the bottle but it's a great neutral that compliments my skin tone really well without being too light or dark. -

I decided to try this new L'Oreal mascara after hearing about it from a beauty Youtuber. She has sparse and straight lashes, similar to mine, and she raved that this mascara worked wonders for her. I'm happy to say that I had a similar experience too! My lashes are naturally short, straight, and very sparse, and this mascara lengthened, defined, and gave them volume. I do notice a bit of smudging under my eye after several hours, but I'm prone to having this happen with any mascara that I use, so it's not unusual. I also have no problems with removing it at the end of the day. It's a bit pricier than a typical drugstore mascara, but I think it's worth the cost. This is now my new holy grail mascara! -

I joined the PC points program years ago (when they first launched the program), and have saved hundreds of dollars on groceries. Even better that you can earn points at other banners other than Loblaws as well now. The only downside is that you have to "load" your offers every week (why can't this just be automated?) so I've missed out on earning points a few times, when I forgot to load the offers first. Other than that, I think it's a great program. -

I was really excited to try this product since I love milk chocolate, and thought this would be a great new product to add in to the mix once in a while when I'm craving sweets. The description sounds great - milk chocolate, rice crisps, and hazelnut pieces, but the combination just didn't taste good because it was too salty. I get the salted chocolate trend, but the proportions were way off and it made the overall taste really "off". Would not buy again, and not excited to try the other flavours either. -

I had a chance to try Nivea's new cocoa butter body cream for a few weeks, and I love it! I have really dry skin on my legs and this worked super well on my dry, flaky skin. It absorbs easily and doesn't leave a greasy feeling afterwards. Only slight complaint is the scent as I usually prefer unscented products, but the cocoa butter scent wasn't overly strong. It's also a HUGE tub, which I'm sure will last me for a very long time! -

This used to be my holy grail mascara, but unfortunately the quality seems to have declined recently. I also noticed that every retailer has increased the price of this product, so I wonder if it doesn't sell as quickly as before, and therefore the one I bought recently has been sitting around for a while. The tube I bought recently seemed to be dried out or the formulation has changed so that it's not as liquid as it used to be. With so many new mascaras coming on the market all the time, I'm going to continue searching for a mascara that volumizes and lengthens better than the Almay One Coat, at drug store prices. -

The unscented aloe body butter worked really well for my legs, but when my face started peeling like crazy from using harsh acne medication, I decided to give this a try to see if it would calm my irritated/red/peeling facial skin. Surprisingly, it soothed my face without being overly thick or clogging my pores and I now pair it with my acne treatment to ensure that my skin stays hydrated and moisturized. I also love the fact that it's unscented because I try to stay away from fragranced products on my face. Definitely two thumbs up! -

I'm a huge fan of body moisturizers and body butters to soothe dry patches on my skin, and was really excited to try a new Aveeno product (I've used Aveeno moisturizers in the past and trust the brand). I found the honey and apricot body lotion to be more heavily scented than the body wash, but still nice and pleasant. The lotion absorbed quickly into my skin and didn't leave a greasy feeling. The consistency isn't as thick as a body butter, but this is more appropriate for the summer time. Will definitely buy once I run out, and it would be great if there are other scents available too. -
