I've been struggling to find a good daily-use body wash that doesn't dry out my skin, and this Aveeno apricot and honey body wash worked really well in terms of leaving my skin clean but not overstripped or dry feeling. I was already familiar with Aveeno moisturizers and trust the brand, but had never tried their body wash before. The scent was amazing and not too strongly perfumed. I would repurchase this and am interested in trying other scents too. -

I tried the NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer Normal Skin for a week straight. Since I wear foundation almost every day, I was really excited to see if this 2-in-1 product would well - I'm always looking for ways to cut down on my getting ready routine! The product has a really smooth and slick feeling and absorbed very quickly into my skin. While I do think it helped provide a smooth canvas to apply my foundation on, I don't think that the moisturizer was hydrating enough for me. As the weather warms up though, I'll definitely be interested in seeing if it's enough hydration. I love the idea of having a combo moisturizer and primer product. #gotitfree -

I tried the original flavour first and loved just the regular coconut taste. Then I saw these spicy ones and decided to give them a go, even though I was hesitant that spicy coconut would taste good. I am so glad I tried these! I like them even more than the original kind - they are that good! If you like spicy Thai curries at all, then you'll love this flavour. It's not that spicy but has just the right "kick". I am completely addicted to these and buy several when I see them on sale. -

Omg, these are the MOST DELICIOUS snack I've tried in a long time! My fiance and I are both addicted to these coconut strips and finished a bag in a day. I wish the price was a little lower, but they are organic and non-GMO so I understand why they're premium. I was looking for a healthier snack to replace potato chips, and these are definitely a winner. The hardest thing about eating these chips is portion control! -

I tried this flavour as well as the blueberry one, and liked the blueberry a lot better. This one still has great nutritional value, from the chia seeds, hemp, coconut, and almonds, but I didn't like the flavour combination that much. The bars are also pricey (they sell for $1.75/bar at my Loblaws) and don't come in a multi-pack. -

This product is an acne treatment that's completely different from anything else I've tried. These are transparent "stickers" that you stick on to your pimples and leave on overnight. When you remove it in the morning, you'll see all pus on the sticker. The idea is really similar to nose strips which physically remove the stuff that collects in your pores.
What I find interesting is that these stickers help flatten out the acne "bumps" I get, reduces the inflammation, and helps my pimples heal much faster because it's removing all the "junk" that has collected in my skin.
I bought it from Amazon because I haven't seen it in any stores. It's a more popular product in Asia, where the product was developed (I think).

I used to have red and irritated eyes (for years!) and couldn't figure out why. My optometrist recommended this contact lens solution because it doesn't contain preservatives, and just like that, my eyes stopped being red the first time I cleaned my lenses with it!
You do need to keep your lenses in the solution for at least 4 hours, otherwise it may burn!

I really wanted to like this BB cream from Elf because it's a good price and comes with a pump dispenser, but the texture was too thick for me. It was hard to spread it onto my skin and I felt like I had to be pretty heavy-handed in order to blend it into my skin well enough, whether I used my fingers or a brush. I really disliked having to do that because it makes my skin red afterwards. It also had a perfume-y scent which I didn't care for. Definitely didn't work for me. -

This review is specifically for the Charcoal Smokes quad (there are several other shade combinations available).
I tend to prefer medium-dark shades that are cool-toned, and this combination of grey, taupe, cool brown, and black shades works really well on my skin tone. I've used a lot of Maybelline eye shadows in the past, and the quality of this quad is what I've come to expect from the brand. Pretty good colour payoff and nicely pigmented shadows. My one complaint is that the four pans used to be the same size, but now they made two of them larger than the others, and they happen to be the ones I use the least! (the lightest and darkest shades)
Still, for the price and quality that you get from this drugstore quad, I will keep re-purchasing!

This palette includes 6 eye shadows, 1 highlight, 1 blush, and 1 contour.
It really is a go-to palette for me! I find it especially useful while travelling, since it's got everything I need for eyes and face. This particular one is more colourful (there's a purple and a green), but I think they also sell a more neutral-toned one if you want to create a nude eye look.
As always, the NYX eye shadows in here are awesome - smooth and buttery (although with a bit of fallout, so watch out for that), and really nicely pigmented. I hadn't tried their face products before, and I'm really happy with them - the blush is fairly bright though, so I only use a tiny touch of that. The contour is also slightly dark for me, but I apply it with a light touch. All in all, I'm really happy with the quality of everything that's included and it's super space-saving for when I travel!
