At first I was a bit skeptical about using the Neutrogena Bright Boost Illuminating Serum as, although I usually enjoy the texture of serums, I don’t always get results and sometimes they feel greasy. What I like about the Neutrogena Bright Boost serum, is you can instantly tell it has a richer creamer formula than other serums. When I put it on, especially under my eyes, the texture is like liquid silk. There is a hint of scent which is fresh and slightly floral but I don’t find the scent to be heavy. There are light reflecting particles in the serum that are not glittery - don’t worry - and they completely blend with the skin making the skin radiant and glowing. I LOVE this serum - highly recommend. It provided instant smoothness and brightness under my eyes.

The Neutrogena Bright Burst Resurfacing Micro Polish is a light creamy formula that isn’t overly gritty. Yet, it’s very effective as an exfoliant and the micropolishers leave my skin feeling smooth and new. While this can be used as a cleanser, I prefer to use this after cleansing to give my face a light exfoliation without feeling like I’m using it to remove makeup. I do enjoy the light fresh floral scent, which is not too obtrusive - the scent matches the product and simply adds to a joyful nighttime ritual. I recommend this product if you are looking for a gentle exfoliation after cleansing. -

Kashi GoLean original cereal bills itself as high fibre high protein, and it is. The plant protein is soy, which can cause digestive upset in some people. It has honey and cane syrup in it for a bit of sweetness, but honestly I found the flavour to be quite bland. I wouldn’t call it a pleasant eating experience. But, with 13g of fibre and 12g of protein in 1.25 cups, it keeps me full for a long time. I’d recommend to a friend for that reason. It’s quite pricey to buy, so wait for it to go on sale. -

This cereal tastes amazing. But the protein in it is a soy protein that many people cannot tolerate. It gives intense gas and for me causes diahhrea. I’m all for high fibre and protein, but not at the expense of my digestive system. This cereal just doesn’t agree with me and I wouldn’t buy it again for that reason. -

These come in packs of two. I get the Coconut & Almond Crunch flavour as it has less sugar than the other flavours. I love the portion side of these, and I like to keep these on hand for quick weekday morning breakfasts. It’s easy to pour milk (or almond milk as I like to use) into the container at night, let the container sit in the fridge, and then open it for a delicious breakfast in the morning.
The only thing I would change about these, or that I would like to see different is a no-sugar option. I feel like the coconut and almond crunch flavour would also taste good without sugar. Don’t get me wrong, it tastes good with sugar, but I think it would be nice to also have a sugar free option.
As well, as these only come in packages of 2, it can get a little pricey if you are wanting to buy more than 2.

I’ve known about OB tampons for years but had never bought them because I wasn’t sure how I felt about not using an applicator. Wanting to be more environmentally conscious, I bought a box. It’s unbelievable the difference these make. Although I will say that sometimes inserting them can get a little messy depending on flow, it’s easy to wash your hands afterwards. These tampons are so discreet, and there is a thin layer of plastic covering the tampon, which is easy to take off. Insertion is easy. I feel like these are higher priced than other tampons, but if you buy them on sale, that’s a bonus. I swear by OB now. I’ve realized that all these years of using an applicator really were wasteful to the environment. -

I felt like I had been punched in the face with a severe common cold - It started with a sore throat, and quickly progressed to coughing, excessive runny nose, drooling, low grade fever, body pain, severe headache, and non-stop sneezing. I needed relief from my symptoms and found Buckley’s Complete Mucus Relief liquid gels on sale, so I bought the 24 pack. The gels are ideally supposed to be taken 2 at a time, 4-6 hours apart. Within 15 minutes of taking them, I get relief from my cold symptoms - the first thing I notice is how quickly my headache goes away, and how it clears the right feeling in my sinuses. This medication has been a lifesaver! I find the medication really only lasts about 4 - 5 hours but, during that time, I feel I can at least function somewhat. I will say it’s hard to pop the liquid gels out of their packaging - I resorted to using scissors to cut the blister pack plastic. The foil and paper backing is too stiff for the pills to push out and the paper is firmly stuck to the foil, so you can’t peel the paper back - I thought it was a little odd how difficult it is to get the capsules out without scissors. I’ll definitely purchase this product again though - I expect I’ll go through this entire package before my cold is over. -

I thought all ibuprofen was the same, but these 400mg super strength Motrin Liquid Gels knock out my menstrual cramps in the most powerful way! Typically I have to wait about an hour for ibuprofen to take effect - but not with these. I have always dreaded PMS and the headaches that go along with it. And then when the cramps come, it gets even worse. After taking these, I felt like I could get on with my days and evenings pain-free!
I received this free package of 30 Motrin super strength 400mg gel capsules and am I ever happy! I will definitely purchase these.

I have been using this product for years. Not only is it a great way to kick start my morning hydration, but the kola nut ingredient in it is a small source of caffeine which also helps kick start my energy levels and allows me to “shake off the morning cobwebs”. I add one scoop of powder each morning to 500mL of water, shake it up, and enjoy. I drink this before work on the weekends, or before a morning yoga class or workout on the weekends. I like the flavour better than all other greens powders I’ve tried. Greens + energy is not too sweet, and has no bitter or chalky aftertaste. I find the product to be a bit pricey, but it lasts a long time. -

I received this item for free through ChickAdvisor. I have been using aluminum free deodorant for years so I was pleased to see Dove has one now. While I typically prefer unscented deodorant, I was excited about the coconut and pink jasmine scent and was hoping it wouldn’t smell overpowering! I wasn’t disappointed and I found the smell is gentle and subtle and not like a typical deodorant. I find it lasts a full work day of 8 hours plus. The deodorant says it lasts for 24 hours but I did not find that to be the case. I found I had to reapply after 10 hours. Because it’s a deodorant, I found it does not control wetness and left my underarms feeling a little sticky. But that is to be expected and it didn’t bother me. What was most important is that it lasted my entire work day and got me through a work out. I would definitely be interested in purchasing this product and recommending to friends and family. It’s obvious that a deodorant doesn’t need aluminum to be effective! -
